“Whitney has been the perfect energy for Onyx while we were away on our family trip to Disneyland. She showed up right on time every morning and afternoon, pouring so much love and care into every visit. Even when we couldn’t respond, she instinctively tuned in and adjusted to make sure Onyx was cared for exactly as needed. She fit right into our busy schedule without needing much instruction—and from the very first time we saw her with Onyx, we knew they would bond. We never once worried, because it was clear she would naturally do whatever Onyx needed. She went above and beyond—always reliable, thoughtful, and radiating a truly loving energy. Whitney carries such a grounded, beautiful presence—Onyx connected with her instantly, and we know he’ll miss her. We’re so grateful! It truly felt meant to be. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for a few years, mostly for close friends and family. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just keeping them company while their family is away, I’ve always treated pets as my own. I often help with housesitting and babysitting as well, so I’ve learned to also juggle multiple responsibilities. I’m currently home for the summer from college, therefore, I have open availability and the flexibility to provide consistent pet care. With no current academic commitments, I am able to build my daily routine around the pets I care for! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always do my best to keep their routines as normal and comfortable as possible. I’m not afraid to ask clarifying questions about your pets to ensure I am giving them the best care. :)

About: I have a love for pets. With 48 years experience training pets and caring for pets of all ages, breeds and tempoerments. I have worked with many veterinarians around Kern Country and have extensive background in animal health and care. From the age of 9 to 18 I was involved in 4-H where I won achievement awards and acknowledgement for my handling and caring for pets. I worked in a dog and cat boarding facility for 15 years feeding, cleaning and caring for pets while their owners were away. I have also assisted in pet grooming. I respect all pets and use a gentle hand with pets a build trust and respect. I am punctual and enjoy what I do. Thank you for the opportunity! Currently I am a full-time pet sitter while you're away and I take pride in playing cleaning and feeding your pets in your place until you return When I'm in your home taking care of your wonderful pets I make sure to follow your instructions on feeding watering and play time and medication if necessary

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life and now that I’m in the BEST years of that life (retired) I am able and ready to share all of my love and experience with new dogs and people! Although I can’t stay the night in your home, I CAN drop in, feed, play with, give snacks, even administer medication if needed, walk, and when it’s time for them to go to bed, make sure they are all tucked into bed. I can assure you that your fur baby will be loved and comfortable while your away- They will be treated with the love I give my own! As a retired person, I am living the dream, being a stay at home mom of fur children…let me love yours too! I am retired but my day starts with my three dogs at 5 in the morning, Everything I do revolves around them. They go out to use the bathroom then eat and come back in to sleep until around 7:30 then our actual day begins. Each Doodle goes on a mile and a half walk then my little pug, Sophia goes on her walk. Shes a senior so she only goes for as long as she can. This is a daily routine. They LOVE being outside so we spend almost all day outside on the patio playing when it’s nice…. They all love riding in the car so EVERYBODY at the bank, CVS, Dewars,Starbucks knows them by name. Where I go, they go! They have their spots in the car and they know their places. My kids are grown but I am definitely NOT an empty nester, they are my life and fulfill me 100%. For their safety with all the craziness happening in the world, as much as they love being outside, they are NEVER left outside when I am not home. They are brought inside and have been crate trained since they were 7 weeks old. It is their safe place and they love their crates. It’s where they sleep and where they eat too.

“Wendi went above and beyond taking care of our two dogs. She accommodated extra walking days while we were gone and she also helped us solving some issues we had with our house. We will definitely contact her again to take care of our dogs!”

About: I've had dogs of all shapes in my house growing up: german shepherds, Yorkies, pit bulls and loooots of stray cats. I currently have 2 fur babies but I wish had more. I was the go-to kid in the neighborhood to check in on pets, play with them for energy, bathe and walk them and much more. I did it for fun, but looking back I probably should have charged $5 haha. I work from home and would love to help you out by watching, bathing, or walking your fur baby. I work from home and am very flexible in my hours. I am very familiar with dogs, cats and some rodent pets. I usually watch my friends' and family's dogs and cat while they are away and have no trouble fitting in plenty of walks and play time for them I make sure to respect the home and the owners while giving all my attention and time to the pets I'm watching. I also like to ask for particular tidbits that the animal's characters benefit from. (this goes from medications and feeding habits as well as things and behaviors to stay away from) For example, my pitbull needs a lot of attention but honestly, she just likes to be in the same room as everyone and likes to be talked to in funny voices whereas my Yorkie will just walk off and find a corner to crap in if she doesn't get enough attention and you will never know. I want pet parents to feel like they can forget about their pets while they are gone, it can be more trouble than it's worth to constantly worry and fret over your fur babies with a stranger.

“Stephanie is awesome! My Shiba Inu loves her, and she doesn’t take to most people! She’s always in a good mood, smiling, very reliable and professional!”

About: I’m young and full of life. I’ve had at least 5 years of experience sitting for friends and family. I’m going to college and studying to be a Veterinarian. I volunteer at Kern County animal shelter, and my main task is cleaning puppy cages, so I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I am a college student at CSUB, studying to be a veterinarian. During the Summer, I have a lot of free time while still maintaining good availability during the school year. Even if I have classes, I would still be able to check on an animal every day. I make sure to remove anything that could potentially harm an animal (Sago Palm for cats) and if they enjoy going outside, to always have them on a leash and in my sight.

About: I am a dedicated and energetic pet sitter ready to give your pets the love and care they deserve. With a deep passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being, I offer personalized care tailored to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I provide frequent updates with photos and detailed reports, so you always know how your furry friend is doing. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I ensure a safe, fun, and loving environment. You can trust me to keep your pet happy, healthy, and well-cared for! Even though I have just started college, my schedule is very flexible so I can prioritize working and taking care of your pets needs! :) I currently do not offer boarding or doggy day care, however I will always be supervising your pets and taking them for walks during any house sitting visits!

About: Since I was born, I have been around animals, and dreamed to work with them and take care of them. I went to school ar SJVC to become a Veterinary Technician, so I have developed skills on how to administer medications. I have watched over my friends pets, whether dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. I am comfortable around all sorts of animals, be them furry, feathery, or scaly. I am currently working part-time at Ross Dress for Less and volunteer at M.A.R.E when free and, so I have a flexible schedule to pet-sit or even walk your furry family members. I provide a safe, and calm environment for the care of all animals, will provide daily walks as needed. If needed, can help with crate training new puppies.

About: I have a degree in animal science, also a life long animal lover. Details are important to me with animal care. I enjoy helping others. I work in education and I’m off during the summer and holidays. My afternoons are free. I am also an early riser. Weekends I am free. I have a fenced yard, a kennel if needed. Or very secure stalls in a clean and tidy barn. We have dogs but they are friendly and well behaved.

About: I am a teacher with extra time to help with any pet sitting - last minute or planned ahead! I am willing to travel to others homes to feed your pets, take them on walks, give them baths or whatever is needed! Over the summer I will have many weekdays and weekends completely open for pet sitting jobs. Beginning mid August, I teach full time in an elementary school 8-3:30. Whatever your safety rules are, I will adhere to. Having taken care of babies as well for many years, I have a high sense of safety when someone's precious cargo is in my hands.

About: I have had a dog of my own for 6 years now. Some more in past years. I have taken care of my friends and families pets for years now. Pets can be scared and intimidating but I know that with my love and patience with pets they do become comfortable with me. I work with kids, but my schedule is really flexible and I have breaks in between each client which gives me the opportunity to check up on pets. I have a fenced yard with two dogs. One of them is Charlie, a poodle/shih tzu, who is super sweet and the other dog is my sisters, who is a Rottweiler named Blue. Blue and Charlie are both sweet dogs. Blue is very energetic and playful and has never been aggressive as well as Charlie. Charlie mainly stays in my room in his kennel and Blue stays separated from the backyard and stays in the side area or in his kennel in the garage. All pets have always been separated but do give them opportunities to play with each other often and supervised.

About: I grew up with lots of pets in my home and that translates to about 15 years of pet care. I am more acquainted with dogs than any other animal. I have worked with elderly dogs and have even trained my own puppy. I love dogs and would love to pet sit yours! I work full-time at a church and my schedule is flexible. I work Monday-Thursday with Friday-Sunday free. During the week, I can easily stop by for bathroom breaks in the mornings, around lunchtime, or in the early evenings and during the weekend I am free for bathroom time, walks, or spending time with your pet. It would not be difficult at all to fit pet care into my routine! I love dogs and have been around them my whole life. I got myself a puppy a handful of months ago and potty trained her in about 1-2 months. I love giving dogs attention, taking them for walks, and adhering to their routine. I have a puppy that is great with other dogs, super friendly, and would love to have another dog friend.

If any question, please ask :) If I'm taking care of your fur baby, he/she will not be alone, and he/she'll always have attention during the stay. Potty breaks every 2-3 hours. About: We are a caring and responsible home, who would love to take care of your pet the way you do. We have no other pets, so they get all our love and attention. I’m a full time housewife, who is currently raising my 17 year old grandson. I am very available to be at my house or yours I have a fenced yard with a pool. I live close to a park where we can go for walks. I have plenty of space and I keep a tidy and clutter free home. I can be free to go to your home any time of day or night, and I can be trusted to do what you require

About: I’ve been dog sitting for over 10 years, caring for dogs ranging from 5-week-old puppies to 15-year-old seniors — including my own lab, who’s now 15 and still going strong with lots of love and care. This experience has taught me how to adapt to every stage of a dog’s life, whether it’s keeping up with playful energy or providing calm, attentive support for older pups who need a little extra patience. I treat every dog like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine — even with a busy training schedule as part of a semi-pro soccer team in Seattle, I prioritize structure, consistency, and care. Whether it’s morning walks before practice or evening check-ins after games, I’m used to balancing responsibility and staying active. Caring for animals fits right in with my lifestyle — it keeps me grounded and gives me joy outside of soccer. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do everything I can to maintain their normal routine and make them feel comfortable in their own space. I follow feeding schedules, walk times, and any special instructions closely, and I always take time for play, cuddles, or quiet companionship — whatever the pet needs. I treat their home with respect, keep things clean and secure, and stay in touch with updates so you feel confident your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.

Tatum O.
“Tatum really loved animals and if she could work with them 24/7 she would definitely be doing that. She treats our 2 dogs like her babies and I can say they are probably more spoiled than some kids out there. She has dealt with special needs pets before and is very familiar with pets that require special boundaries, medical care, expertise, and strict behabirol supervision. She has helped dogs recover from tplo surgery, administered different oral and topical medications and has been very diligent is her care of all pets. She loves them but knows not too be too soft and give in to every whine and pait of big eyes.”

Vanessa M.
“During our 21 year old, senior cat’s last days, Vanessa ensured our cat was comforted and cared for. Our loving senior was fed, loved, and watched after with the utmost attention and care. We know it is harder for people to want to care for senior animals as they have become fragile, sedentary, and overall have lost their young cuteness. Vanessa instead let our sweet angel take her time, playing with and petting her gently. She also made sure our tiny senior was fed around the clock, making sure to prepare her special diet thoroughly (she had oral surgery twice with teeth removed both time). I would recommend Vanessa for all animal needs. She is intuitive, attentive, and meets all demands you might have for your fur baby.”

Brandon G.
“Brandon would be an amazing pet caregiver! He’s punctual, kind, and follows instructions with detail and care. He always grew up in a household with a ton of animals, so he has years of experience caring for them. I would 10/10 recommend him!”
