About: I'm an animal lover and bond easily with all pets. I have worked as a dog bather / groomer at a national chain for all breeds and sizes. My experience also include helping a breeder with puppies and mother care. Recently, I pet sat a sick dog whose family had already booked their vacation. I nursed their dog back to health with boiled chicken, nutritional supplements, and gentle comforting. It would be my honor to provide the care your beloved pet(s) need while you're unable to be there. My services includes playing, walking, petting, feeding, grooming and talking to large or small dogs - all cats, any birds! Of course, cleaning, administering medications, and consoling them, will be done with care. Available for extra tasks, such as taking your pet to the veterinarian or groomer. Congratulations on taking the necessary steps to ensure your pet is flourishing. Hope to meet you and your pet soon! I am a new retiree and work part-time for the days and hours I select. I am flexible, and can set my schedule around your pets needs I can come to your home with your specific instructions for maintaining the pets routine and crating requirements. About: Big Star Pet Care was started in memorial of our best friend of nearly 10 years, a rescue pitbull who was our Biggest Star. That’s why we give everyone our Big Star Promise— to treat your animals like they are their own Big Star. I've taken care of many animals, from cats & dogs, to rodents, reptiles, birds and more. This makes my experience in animal care varied and diverse. I am comfortable with all sizes of pet and breed, as well as many different temperaments. We are privately insured with pet care professional insurance (including vet coverage)— for the utmost safety of your loved ones, so that you can rest at ease while away. We are always learning new ways to expand what we can offer to our clients. We strive to follow instructions left by the pet owner and always send plenty of photos and updates. I am comfortable giving baths and can administer oral medication if needed. Thank you for considering Big Star Pet Services, I look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s). As a wife and wife team, your care will be carried out by either of us or both of us— but you can ensure top quality care regardless of who is providing it. Walks and drop ins before 8am and after 5pm are often attended by Gabrielle, while housesits are generally carried out by Mary due to Gabrielle’s full time position. Boarding care is handled by both parties. Most messages are responded to by Mary. Mary does have a standing M-F 3 hour babysitting gig from 1-4, though it often ends early. We try to be flexible and accept most bookings, including emergency last minute bookings. We offer a number of services; however, we do not accepts pets from more than one family at a time during boardings so that we can ensure the utmost attention, care and safety of your furry friends. We live in a large townhouse with a fully fenced backyard, 3 cats who keep mostly to themselves but may befriend gentler dogs and a 6 month old puppy who is generally well behaved and in training. We have no children or other people living in the home. We can create separated spaces if necessary, while still ensuring your furry friend gets the care and attention they deserve, while in a comfortable space for them. Mary is dog and cat CPR/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. We have experience with animals who have special dietary, medication and medical related needs.

About: Hi! I’m Alisha — a reliable, detail-oriented animal lover who treats every pet like they’re my own. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and that’s something I take seriously. Whether it’s drop-in visits, feeding routines, playtime, or just giving them some extra love and attention, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I’m very attentive to details and will always follow your pet’s routine exactly as requested — from specific feeding instructions to medications or preferred walking routes. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone. I’m especially great with pets who need a little extra patience or consistency, and I always aim to create a calm, positive environment for them. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I am typically available after 3pm on weekdays and open on weekends! Feel free to reach out and I can let you know my availability! I have a fully fenced back yard, and a pretty spacious home. I have two dogs, to ensure your peace of mind if I host your loved one in my home, my two fur babies will be on the second floor completely separate.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for years. I love doing it and I have my own German shepherd dogs so I’m used to the stubborn ones. I’m currently working part time so I have time to love your dogs as my own. I would love to have your pet be a part of my family temporarily. I have a fenced yard, I have two crates if you need and the ability to allow them to free roam as well. I also can take them on as long of walks as needed.

About: I love dogs and have many years of experience with fur-babies from small to large & young to old age. I beleive pets like dogs and cats are family members too. They need attention, love and play time when their family is away. I have 15+ years of experience pet-sitting. I use to run a petsitting business in Arizona before moving to Florida. I have 30+ years of family pet experience. I am a stay at home mom to two older children who I homeschool. I am home all day with an open schedule. I have some pet training experience as well. I've taught my pets simple commands like sit, lay down, roll over & shake. I love taking care of pets and getting to know them. They have such funny personalities! 🤣 I'm currently a stay at home mom with two older children that I homeschool so I have an open schedule with no places to be usually! LOL! Making sure the yard/house is secure is one of my top priorities. If I know the dog is an escape artist I like to do a walk through to secure areas. I like to come out with the dog when it's potty time to keep an eye on them and also play if that's what they're into. It's a great time to stretch their legs. For cats, they're pretty hit or miss on what they enjoy so definitely discussing what they like to do or if they enjoy pets knowing where their favorite spot is. Same goes for dogs. Asking questions to make sure they receive the love they are use to is another top priority.
About: I keep things calm, safe, and low stress, with plenty of attention throughout the day. Your dog will have a ½-acre fenced yard to play in and a comfortable place to relax while you’re at work. I love dogs and can't wait to take care of yours while you're busy. Having worked remote for years, I truly believe that human to dog connection is super important for their health and happiness. I have a flexible schedule during the week that allows me to consistently provide attentive, reliable care. I’m able to accommodate visits and stays throughout the day to make sure pets get the time, attention, and routine they need. Happy to hang with your best friend from 8-5 while you're busy. I have a 1/2-acre yard that is entirely fenced in; our backyard has a view of a pond where we can sometimes see ducks and birds, squirrels and lizards like to hang out on our fence giving dogs something to run after. My dog Tuna is a 14 pound Boston Terrier who doesn't bite and just likes to lounge. We've got dog toys to play with and are expanding our amenities.

About: I have experience with elderly pets as well as babies. I am proficient in medication administration including insulin injections, as I have my own diabetic cat. I am also able to give oral medications. I am available day and night and I am also available for overnight stays. I will be happy to snuggle your babies as much as you need. I have two dogs that are kept on a regular feeding schedule they are house broken and know when it's time to go outside. I have one cat that grazes on food throughout the day and a second cat who is on a feeding schedule due to diabetes. Both of my cats are indoor cats, and their litterboxes are cleaned daily. After that, it's all snuggles

Settlers Landing dog parents share their Rover experiences
We love Kristen! Our puppy, Sachi, gets so excited to spend time with Kristen while we are at work. Kristen is a top tier dog walker and set our standards high going forward. She always sends us great updates and pictures so it feels like we were there. We will be moving in the near future and I doubt anyone will come close to her level of service. She truly put our minds at ease while we were away, knowing our dog was receiving the best care.
