Going on a vacay? So will your pets when they are with me 😊 I do keep them entertained with walks, toys, playing in your backyard, and lots of pets/belly rubs or as I call it "lovings". Please let me know what your pet likes to do on a daily basis and we will do just that! If it is okay with you, your dogs or cats can sleep with me if I'm staying over! I love fur-baby cuddles!

Information that is important for me to know ahead of time is if your animal is special needs, sick, or recovering from an injury. I also like to get information on how much you feed and how often per day. Is your pup/cat taking any medicine I need to administer? How do they act on walks or how are they on a leash? If I'm house-sitting for you - the more instructions, the better! I prefer detailed instructions so, please don't worry about leaving a long note for me!
A typical day
I love to walk dogs! I think it's so important that animals get the exercise they need. It's also important to me that we take multiple sniff breaks for your dog to be stimulated mentally as well. I actively work out daily and I know how important it is for me to do so - so, I know how important exercise is for your dog(s). I can walk dogs in your neighborhood, mine, or we can visit some cool walking trails/tracks near me! I also love to spend time with pets in your home or backyard to play with their favorite toys or play fetch! Is your dog/cat laid back and just likes to chill? That's fine too! We can sit inside and enjoy the AC together or sit outside and enjoy the sun. Oh and trust me - your pet will get LOTS of lovings with me! Pets and belly-rubs galore basically 24/7! :) I have two VERY active dogs so playing with toys, playing fetch, and being in the backyard constantly are no bother for me!

*To my house sitting clientele, I’m so sorry but I’m currently not offering house sitting at this time. My dog at home is battling cancer and I need to be there for him. I am still doing drop-ins and walks though!* Hi! I'm Kristen :) I'm a military spouse, dog mom, and animal lover/caretaker extraordinaire! Rover is my full time job and I absolutely LOVE it! I’ve taken care of dogs & cats since I was a little girl and lived on a farm. I'm even more experienced now since adopting and taking care of the two dogs we have at home. We have two high-energy/active German Shepherds who are rescues and are our babies. I have taught them everything they know. They know to sit, lay down, stay, up, down, high-five, spin, fetch, go through legs, etc. I have taught them a lot! I started out by watching many dogs in our neighborhood and ended up loving it so much that I wanted to make this a full-time gig to meet new doggos & cats and take care of them! This is what brought me to the Rover app and into the world of watching, caring for, and loving on more & more animals! I'd love to meet yours! In addition to all of that, I do rescue stray dogs in or near our neighborhood when I can. I have even stopped traffic both ways to save a dog from getting hit and returned it to its owner. I've picked up animals in our neighborhood and have found their owners. I was also one of the admins of our Lost and Found Neighborhood Pet group on Facebook before we moved from OKC, OK. I have also volunteered my time at the Yukon Animal Shelter in OKC taking photos of adoptable dogs and cats, and network dogs on euthanasia at shelters to try to save them. I love animals and would do anything for them! I also send updates or what I call "pup-dates" with info from my visit with pictures and/or videos! I like to keep you in the know and for you to see your babies while you are away!

We love Kristen! Our puppy, Sachi, gets so excited to spend time with Kristen while we are at work. Kristen is a top tier dog walker and set our standards high going forward. She always sends us great updates and pictures so it feels like we were there. We will be moving in the near future and I doubt anyone will come close to her level of service. She truly put our minds at ease while we were away, knowing our dog was receiving the best care.
Kristen is always so great with our babies! She is very attentive and takes care of them as her own. We will always fully trust to have our kitties be in great care when she visits! Kristen will be our go-to from here on out. She’s amazing! Thank you again.
