About: I've been caring for pets since I was young (including dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs) and I currently have 3 cats. 2 of my cats are declawed and get along with the dogs, 1 cat has claws. I'm use to caring for the unique needs of senior pets, including extra bathroom breaks and administering meds. I have three kids, 2 in college and a 17yo, that love pets as well and assist when they can. I live on 12 acres well away from the road but the yard is not fenced. I opened a business in town 9/2021 so I'm no longer home during the day but my husband works from home and when the kids are home from college they assist. I would love the opportunity to get to know your pet(s)! My husband works from home so he can care for them and keep them company during the day. I own a business in town and am usually home by 4pm. I have three kids that love dogs and assist when schedules permit. My cats also get along well with dogs. Dogs are not allowed on furniture but we do play with them if they are the playing kind or let them sleep if that is their preference.

About: I have taken care of my friends and neighbors pets countless times while they were away. I have also owned two dogs since I was twelve so I'm really great with pets! I am currently a stay at home wife so I have lots of flexibility! I will make sure your animals get the best care ever! We offer the most unique experience for your pets, allowing them to have their own getaway when you have things come up in life. Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. It is our goal for our furry guests to have a safe and stimulating environment at all times during their stay!
