About: Since childhood, I've been surrounded by dogs, dog training and field trial competition. I've cared for dogs, cats, pigeons, fish, hamsters, gerbils, and horses and I enjoy each creature's personality and gifts. I'm flexible and can care for your animals solely at your home or, for dogs, I can bring them out to walk on our local trails. I have a large minivan with kennels inside so your dog will travel comfortably and safely. I keep my cell phone off when I drive and I travel directly from your home to a walking trail/area. I never mix errands with dog walking and prefer to walk dogs without earbuds/headphones so I am aware of our surroundings at all times.

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a teenager. My friends, neighbors, and my family would rely on me to check on them. I would play with them, feed them, walk them, and sometimes if they have injuries I would change them and keep an eye on them while they were in my care. I'm currently not working at this moment. Im available from 9-5 during the weekdays but on the weekends I can do a couple hours if needed. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. I strive to maintain a clean space and comfortable for my pets where they can relax and follow their usual routines with no worries. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

About: I have raised many different types of dogs for 15+ years. For the last 5 years, I have housed many different animals in need. I have trained puppies, as well as nervous, and abused dogs. I make sure my home is a very welcome environment for animals of all kinds. Like my husband likes to say, I want a petting zoo in life. I currently work part-time in a pawn shop and full time mom to an adorable little toddler. We love being able to be around and care for animals as much as we can. I go on holidays maybe once or twice a year so I’m always around willing to help train or even just be a companion to your furry friend while you’re away I have an open yard with plenty of space to run around. I also have crates within the house just in case they need to be crated too. I have 3 adult dogs that roam free and are very friendly, as well as 3 puppies, and a 2 cats inside my house as well too. But it’s very rare my cats will come out during the day if I’m housing a dog inside.

About: I’ve had animals of many kinds from tiny to huge growing up. I’d normally house sit for family and friends until I decided to join the Rover crew. About: Since childhood, I've been surrounded by dogs, dog training and field trial competition. I've cared for dogs, cats, pigeons, fish, hamsters, gerbils, and horses and I enjoy each creature's personality and gifts. I also like hanging with your animal -- sometimes a pet wants to know there's someone there for them. I love taking photos of animals and sharing them with their pet parents! I am semi-retired and focus my time on my family - husband and twin teenage boys, our 2 dogs, 1 cat, many chickens, and houseplants. I have time throughout my day to take care of indoor and outdoor animals. I'm flexible and can care for your animals solely at your home or, for dogs, I can bring them out to walk on our local trails. I have a large minivan with kennels inside so your dog will travel comfortably and safely. I keep my cell phone off when I drive and I travel directly from your home to a walking trail/area. I never mix errands with dog walking and prefer to walk dogs without earbuds/headphones so I am aware of our surroundings at all times.
