“This is the second time I’ve booked with Brittney and Xime and again they were excellent communicators and very understanding and flexible. They got my normally skittish boy to trust them completely. Will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Tim is wonderful and was so amazing with our super skittish girl. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving her and to make her feel comfortable. He even did some dishes we, embarrassingly, left behind. Will absolutely be hiring him again next time we need to go out of town.”

“Cassandra was such a pleasure to work with! She made us feel so comfortable when leaving our dog for the first time on a long trip. She sent updates and pictures throughout the week and our dog was so happy when we returned. Thank you, Cassandra!”

“John did a fabulous job with my two Malamutes over 8 nights. Tons of photos and vids and excellent communication, allowing me to relax and enjoy my vacation. The dogs definitely loved him and I came home to very happy pups. I would absolutely recommend him and will look to him again when I’m next traveling.”

“Hunter always does an amazing job with our pups. We have booked him in the past and have booked him again for our next trip. Our dogs are older and one requires medication twice a day for seizures. They are all a little needy. He is wonderful with each. We always come home to happy and safe dogs and a clean home.”

“It was so great to have Emer stay with mollie at my house. Mollie immediately took to her and had so much fun. She sent plenty of videos, pictures and updates while I was gone. Mollie was a bit sad when I opened the door upon my return and realized I wasn’t Emer. Can’t say enough great things and will be using Emer for my pet sitting when I have to travel for work”

“Law was a blessing for my dogs, and me! I just moved to a new place with a 7yr old chocolate lab, and a new 3.5month lab puppy. My personal friend who would house sit canceled, and Law was fortunately available. This is the first time I have ever used Rover, and the first time I have let someone stay with my dogs that wasn’t a friend. The day I inquired about booking, Law setup a time that same day to come over and meet my dogs. Throughout my time away, Law was always updating me and sending pictures and videos of my dogs. He took amazing care of my dogs, and I would be fortunate to have Law house sit my dogs again. From beginning to end Law was professional, personable, accommodating, and a wonderful new friend to my dogs!”

“Stacey is wonderful and my dog adores her! Takes great care of the house and even better care of my buddy. I’ve booked with Stacey a few times and will definitely be doing so again in the future!”

“You went above and beyond for our babies! We appreciated all that was done to make our little family comfortable and safe! Great communicator! Love, love the picture updates! Thank you!”

“Peter was absolutely wonderful caring for our Saint Bernard puppy Atlas at the last minute when we had an emergency we had to fly across the country for. He kept sending updates and pictures showing in detail everything they did together and how happy our dog was with him. It was very relieving knowing that our dog was well cared for when we were away.”

“Stephanie was great! Our pup seemed pretty happy when we got home. We got pictures everyday. Stephanie was very communicative. And she was able to help us out very last minute for an extended time.”

About: I don’t have any pets of my own. Over the years I’ve lived with friends and family that had pet cats, dogs, chickens, and even a turtle. I was always the go to watcher/sitter whenever someone was out of town or busy. Through this experience I learned how to care for, love on, and coexist with animals. I would love for a pet of my own but my current living situation does not accommodate pets. I have mornings available everyday for awesome morning walks, dog park adventures, and maybe even a hike (if your pet is into it.) I have 2 days during the week where I am available in the evening, and beyond that I am available after 9 pm most days for a late evening check in and cuddle. I am respectful and understanding of animals and their space and comfort. I recognize their body language and listen to the cues I am given. My observation and detail oriented skills allow me to keep spaces clean, tidy, and organized. Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate your pets in my home.

“I highly recommend Lisandra! During an extended visit in Seattle we needed a dog sitter for 1 day. Lisandra came to our AirBnB and spent the day providing companionship, walks, and play time with Murphy. When we got home, he was cuddling on the couch with her. If we ever again need a sitter while in Seattle, I'll reach out to Lisandra and am recommending her to my Seattle family & friends.”

“I've booked Stephanie twice, and she has been excellent in her care with my pup both times. I feel confident leaving my little guy with her when I have to travel. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I have walked, home sat, and just visited with friends dogs and cats on and off over the past 20 years. I have also had a few different cats over my lifetime, and had a golden retriever several years back. I have pet sat and walked small to medium dogs including smaller dogs that have had some difficulties walking. A couple of the dogs I have taken care of were senior dogs that enjoyed walks though needed patience time and sometimes being carried home due to their limitations. One pup in particular, a Frenchie has had a difficult start to her life, she had lost an eye, has hip problems and is partially blind in her one eye. She has the energy and excitement of a puppy her age normally does, but also can become skittish quickly due to noises or people and feeling threatened due to her lack of visual range. She loves walks but sometimes doesn't know when it's best to turn back and gets to a point where she refuses to move, and gets carried home. She also has some particular dietary needs that requires patience and care to make sure she eats and that the food stays down. I am currently doing mostly online freelance work that can be done anywhere as long as I have internet available. It is also work that can be set aside and picked up easily enough so that I can work between any pet care, and set it aside when a pet needs attention. I am currently open to caring for pets at their own homes. I am open to any arrangement that the owner has setup and prefers for their own pet. I want to make sure to stick with any schedule that a pet has to try to reduce any stress from changes in scheduling.

About: I've always loved animals, but was unable to have my own for the most part growing up. So whenever possible, and frequently after I got my license as a teenager, I would petsit. Whether an animal has fur, scales, or feathers, I will happily love and care for them. I am good at following instructions and adapting to give an animal the care that's best for them as an individual, so please share all those little details that matter. I look forward to making new animal friends! I am newer to Washington, so most of the animals I would pet sit for are in a different state. Lately, I've been deprived of the fulfillment and joy that comes with caring for animals. So I would love to build a new client base up here. My schedule is fairly flexible, so I am ready to fill it with walks, play, and care! I customize care based on an individual's needs and preferences. In the past, that has included staying with and giving my undivided attention to a dog that had seizures, while giving his humans updates and knowing the plan if we needed to make a trip to the vet. I've also cared for a sweet old pitbull who got dog dementia. I have given prescriptions to dogs, cats, and other animals that needed it. I'm also more than willing to provide updates to those who struggle with being away from their animal friend.

“Nic is absolutely amazing—A+ all around! From the very start, he was incredibly responsive and genuinely caring, which instantly put us at ease. He treated our pets as if they were his own. 10/10, we would be absolutely thrilled to work with him again!”

Hire Mary! I’ve been working with Mary for over a year now. She is kind, honest, and always on time. She has watched my current dog and previous dogs . When Mary is watching my pups I have peace of mind knowing that they are in great and capable hands. She treats my pups as if they were her own. I highly recommend working with Mary!

Tim was wonderful with our dog Atlas! We received thorough daily updates and pictures while we were away and came home to a spotless house and a healthy, happy, and relaxed dog. He took the time to get to know Atlas and treated him like he was his own. We’re so relieved to have found Tim!

Tyler did an amazing job housesitting while we were gone for 2 weeks. It was the first time she had taken care of our house and our pets (cats, rats, and fish) and I gave her an awful lot of details to manage about both the pets and the house. And yet she did an amazing job taking care of both the little and the big things. She gave me regular reports so I felt reassured things were going okay with my special needs cat, and she left the house beautifully clean for us when we got back, which was delightful! I will definitely engage Tyler again to help us out.

Lydia did a wonderful job taking care of Gridley. I only needed her for one day and night of housesitting, but in that time, she took him on three long walks! His favorite thing! She also did a great job with the house and my plants. Everything was tidy and well-cared for. I highly recommend Lydia. I've already booked her for more housesitting.

Hunter always goes above and beyond for our dogs. One of our oldest doesn’t love to eat as much as she used to, especially when we are away. Feeding time can be hard. Hunter always finds ways to encourage her to eat. He is an “old dog whisperer.” We can’t thank him enough for all he does.

Anna was a phenomenal house sitter and cat watcher. She made a huge effort with both cats to get them comfortable and happy with her there. She took very good care of the home and left it cleaner than she found it. She was very communicative and sent photos often. I would really recommend Anna as a pet and/or house sitter!

This was our second booking with Ashley, and again we are so grateful for her services! She did a great job taking care of our two indoor/outdoor kitties, home, and garden for six days - including harvesting and storing our berries as they came in. Great communication from Ashley as always. Thank you!

Kieran is responsible and communicative. Our dog and cat love her! Our dog had a bit of a stomach bug and Kieran took such good care of her and kept us in the loop. We felt really good about having her there and are so thankful she took such good care of our babies!

Gabriela was honestly one of the BEST rover sitters we’ve ever had for our two pups!! She took them on walks and romps in the trails near her house daily, and tired them out! They got along so well with her dog too! She sent us multiple pictures throughout the every day! We will be using her again and are so happy we found her :)

Natina was amazing! She was so communicative and caring the entire time she stayed with our pups. We got tons of updates and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dogs were clearly so happy and well cared for. We feel lucky to have found her and would absolutely book her again!
