About: I have had several puppies through the past 20 years and I also work with the local shelter, fostering dog/cat litters and volunteer walking dogs. I've potty trained them and taught them basic commands with marker training, such as sit, stay, off and come. I also have experience with reactive dogs, our own are adopted litter mates that are dog, people and leash reactive. My husband takes care of our dogs while I am watching yours. I am caring, responsible and guarantee I will take excellent care of your loved ones while you are away! I am confident that if your dog is working on potty training, I can instill and reinforce that behavior. I love going on long walks or runs and would take your pet for fun at the park if they are comfortable with that setting. I work contract to contract and am now free during the entire day to watch your pets. I like to go outside every few hours, sometimes a long walk in the afternoon. With puppies, I go outside every half hour to an hour and reinforce potty training with treats and excitement.

About: I’ve watched all kinds of dogs from puppies to the oldest of fellas. Some have had strict diets and medications that needed to be taken at specific times. I always make sure to give dogs plenty of exercise especially if they are crate trained, just get them tuckered out before needing to be put away for the night. House rules are always respected as well, your house is just as important as your dog! I am currently a full time Masters student at EWU! This causes my hours to be a little funky with availability fluctuating day to day. I would love to chat more to figure out a schedule that works best with your animals! About: Dog owners and their dogs will love the fact that I understand a dogs needs I have three dogs of my own who I spend most of my time around, I understand the basics of caring about dogs and how to treat them and teach them how to be well behaved! I’ve had my oldest dog from the time he was 8 weeks, he is now 11. I have trained him how to sit, speak, shake hands, lie down, and he was fully potty trained in 1 month of having him! I also enjoy cuddling and playing outside with dogs which I’ve learned dogs are just like humans they need activity and love to stay happy and healthy, and that’s why I believe my service will be a wonderful thing. I’m currently working part-time and would love to be able to help take care of your animals, when you go on vacation or just need them walked. Dogs will always be on leash and walk on the inside part of the sidewalk, when letting them out to use the restroom I’ll ensure it’s safe for them to do so first if the area isn’t fenced.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
