Highly-rated overnight sitters - Scribner
“What a treasure we found in Eileen and Jeff! We could not have asked for better caretakers for Tater! In addition to the obvious criteria we considered when trying to find a sitter (clean home, fenced yard, proximity to the airport etc), we were looking for a sincere love of animals…and Eileen/Jeff provided that by the boatload! Over the course of Tater’s stay, Eileen posted multiple pics of Tater at play or being cuddled. He couldn’t have been happier or in better hands. We have already booked his next visit. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Eileen and Jeff to anyone seeking a warm and loving environment for their fur-babies.”

“Emily as always is beyond wonderful. Wolffe made himself right at home again with her. He’s looking forward to his next stay already! Thanks so much for the fabulous communication and photos, it’s always so nice to see updates and you are great at making know Wolffe is well looked after.”

“Brooke was very professional with her service in taking care of Taco. I got pictures and videos of Taco on a regular basis and was happy to see she was doing well. I feel Taco came back slimer and trimmer than being at home with all the activity Taco got with Brooke. I'm very pleased with the level of professionalism and service!”

“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

“My senior girl loved Janiel's place. Beautiful yard, ball throwing, and Janiel made sure to keep me updated with pics. So glad I found such a great place for Scout. She tells me she hopes to visit again.”

“Alton and Valerie were super Rover Hosts! Our mini goldendoodle received so much love and care from the entire family and enjoyed playtime with their pup as well! “Jilly had a wonderful stay with Gregg. She loved playing with his dog. It was so reassuring to get daily photos. Communication was first rate on everything. Highly recommend!”

“Taylor was an amazing dog sitter!! It was my first time leaving my 9 month old puppy but with all the pictures and communication that was provided really helped me be at ease. The pictures really helped reassure he was having the best time and was adjusting well. My doggo was well exercised and had the best time hanging out with her pup Kovu! I would definitely rebook!”

“Danielle is fantastic! Her communication and willingness to do a meet and greet ahead of time (even though our dog's stay was only one night) meant the world to me. She sent several photos, which I really appreciated. I knew he was in good hands. Danielle has lots of experience with dogs, and did not flinch when she knew our's was a German Shorthaired Pointer. She had previous experience with the breed and that says a lot. Don't hesitate to book with her and her family. Your furry family member will be treated like one of her own.”

“Mandy did a great job with my dog Harley. He was loved and adored and I got lots of photos to keep me updated how he was doing. He was very happy and calm when I came to pick him up as well. In addition, she was very sensitive to his special needs as a senior dog. I would highly recommend her!”

“We are so glad to have found Ellie. We had a couple of play dates before this stay so our dogs and her dog would be familiar with each other. Our dogs are so happy to see her and sad to leave. Ellie takes great care of our three dogs and we are grateful to have found her and that she will care for all 3! Will definitely have our dogs stay with Ellie again and would recommend.”

“Wonderful! I appreciate her dedication to our loved ones we entrust in her care. Cheryl sent photos and or videos every day and also a progress note. I highly recommend Cheryl and hope to book again when I am in the need.”

“Lynda was really great! Our dog tends to be mistrustful of people at first, and indeed at their first meeting she barked at her for a while. We just let her do her thing and pretty soon she was bringing her a ball to play instead. The first overnight went great she was comfortable sleeping on the bed and got along great with her golden retriever. Will definitely be using her services again!”

“Milo had a great time and was taken care of exactly as his medical needs required. We appreciate the flexibility with his pickup and will certainly return if we need boarding again.”

“Amanda was great with our sweet shih tzu! She was prompt with getting back to us and always kept us updated on our pup while we were away. She was even freshly bathed when we picked her up. I highly recommend Amanda!”

I couldn’t recommend her enough, I will absolutely be booking with her again soon! Not to mention she is very flexible with her schedule and always willing to work with you and your pets needs (:”

“Vanessa did a great job with our two dogs and cat! My mastiff is usually extremely wary of new people and can take weeks to warm up. This is the first time we’ve left all of our pets because of this so it was a relief when he took to Vanessa immediately. She was very responsive and kept us updated so I felt comfortable knowing they were in good hands. I’d highly recommend her to anybody!”

“Tiffany did a fantastic job caring for my two cats while I was away. She was an excellent communicator, very respectful, reliable, and clearly hardworking. It was obvious from the start that she genuinely loves animals and takes great pride in caring for them. One of my cats is a rescue and is very nervous around people, but Tiffany did a wonderful job making sure he was comfortable and doing well throughout her visits. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and even went above and beyond by bringing in packages that arrived while we were gone. I especially appreciated the detailed updates and the many photos she shared after each visit. It was reassuring to see that everything was taken care of, and I loved receiving the cute pictures of my pets while I was away. Tiffany exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She will definitely be one of my first choices the next time I need care for my cats.”

About: I petsit for my neighbors often, and they have a shy and nervous cat named Aurora. She was skittish the first few times I came around, but warmed up to me quickly and ended up following me everywhere and constantly wanting attention.

“Sarah is THE BEST dog sitter! Kind, considerate, detail oriented, great communicator. She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. I really appreciated the status update text messages that Sarah sent from time to time, and it was abundantly clear from the pics she shared that Piper was totally comfortable and really enjoying her time there. Also -- a big shout out to Sarah's pup, Sully, for sharing his home and his mom with Piper for a few days! He was a great host and he & Piper got along very well. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life. I’m a huge animal lover, and have experience with cats, dogs, horses, fish, parrots, and chickens. I moved from Virginia to Washington to attend grad school at Eastern Washington University. In California, I was a hospice caretaker for a 21 year old dog with cancer. I know how to give medicine as well as cook for your pet’s special dietary needs if necessary. I’m a super active person so I don’t mind going on long walks with your dog. I enjoy the exercise! I have experience with a wide range of breeds and even have experience with coyotes! I can give cats insulin as well. Whatever your pet needs, I can provide. I teach one English comp course Mon-Fri from 9am to 9:50am. I have class on Tuesday night from 5:30 to about 9:30 and two short classes Friday afternoon so most days are pretty wide open for pet care. I also get every holiday off. Unfortunately I just moved into a small apartment that doesn’t allow pets, but I’m happy to pet sit at your home and give your pet a safe environment to play in.
About: Hi there! I'm a stay-at-home mom with over 30 yrs experience with dogs. I am a certified trainer and have raised and trained many dogs. Pick up and drop off available within the Spokane area. What You Can Expect: Safe, loving care in a pet-friendly home Walks 1–2 times daily along the beautiful Centennial Trail Plenty of supervised playtime in the backyard Personalized attention and snuggles throughout the day Regular updates with pictures and messages A calm environment—no aggressive dogs, please I live with my two friendly pups: a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog and an energetic Porky (Pomeranian/Yorkie mix). They love meeting new friends and are great at making visiting dogs feel welcome. We have a fully fenced backyard where the dogs can safely play and roam. Whether you're going on vacation or just need a weekend away, your dog will be treated like part of the family here. I’d love to schedule a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a great fit! I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. I am usually only gone for a few hrs a day and can devote the rest of my time to snuggling, exercising, socializing, and just being there for your pup. Your pet is welcome in my home and will be treated like a part of the pack. They are free to roam the house and the yard supervised. I have a fully fenced backyard where our pups can play. They do go in a crate for safety when I leave the house or at night when I sleep. Your dog will be treated like part of the family here.
“Bethany is a great walker! Our little guy is still a puppy but she was very patient with him pulling and being a little jumpy. We will be sure to use her again!”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was a kid. I currently have three dogs, one being a chihuahua puppy, so you can imagine the trouble they all get in. I also petsit for my neighbors two dogs and cat often! I’m currently finishing up high school in my senior year, and I’m enrolled in Running Start at Eastern Washington University, so I have a very flexible schedule. I only have one early class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and two day classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Quality time with pets is so important! Making sure hyper dogs get exercise and enrichment is a basic goal while petsitting. I also water plants, clean up, and feed pets, along with taking them on walks when requested.
About: As a young kid, my family bred Saint Bernards. By all means, I am from a "dog family." I grew up walking, feeding, cleaning stalls, etc. dogs much larger than me. Eventually and gradually we would adopt several mixed-breed dogs and other strays who we loved just as much as our Saints. On top of this, however, I was also proud to be responsible for a beautiful, sassy cat, from a younger kitty to her golden years. Moreover, some friends and I spent time trapping feral cats in West Central Spokane, specifically around where we lived and worked, then taking them to PetSavers for spay/neutering, and working to rehome them. I enjoy "working" with all kinds of dogs and cats. This includes seniors, those with health conditions, or those who simply benefit from extra patience and extra attention. You may already see me walking dogs in Cheney and Airway Heights. I would be glad to get to know your pet family and learn what everyone likes best and wants most. I currently work as a "hand" maintaining a lower-maintenance property in the greater Spokane County. This arrangement is semi-formal and provides ample flexibility in my schedule to meet the needs of your pet family. Each home and family is different, and expresses their love for the pet family in different ways. I am glad to meet your pet family where you are all at, and give us an opportunity to get to know each other. I talk low and slow by default, but can easily match the energy of your pet family. Dogs will enjoy their walks and time together and return a happy camper :-) Cats will have a dedicated eye on them and if your cat is a playful or affectionate type, their need to socialize will be met. I can usually coax most shy cats into some socializing or play time, and cats who are "protective" of one thing or another, and maybe not as friendly, still will also get ample care and attention.
About: I have owned many pets throughout my childhood. To say what kind of experience I have would take more than 125 words because each pet has their own personality and style and I adapt to exactly what your pets need and want. If they want cuddles, they get cuddles. If they want space, they get space. I’m home almost all day so they will get all the attention they ever want(or the space they need). I aim to make them happy! Non smoke home with a big spacious living room to play or rest in. I’ve been dog walking/pet sitting since I was a teen and miss doing that. I love hiking and anything outdoorsy so I’m always up for being outside as well. If you have any questions please reach out! I’m a stay at home mom so I’ll be able to easily take your pup out on walks and quick potty breaks. We don’t have a fenced yard but have a shared yard out in the back as well as a park nearby. I walk them right before I would leave to run any errands and usually don’t take long. I follow the instructions provided so that its not stressful for the pup as well as the pet owner. I send updates on how the pup is doing and what we’re up to. We go out on walks a lot. If it’s okay with the owner than I take the pup out on a shorter hike with my daughter. I make sure to grab water too! At home we see what kind of personality the pup has because some aren’t as active and would rather cuddle while others like to play play play.

About: I’ve been pet and house sitting for friends, family, and neighbors for 10 years now. I have had dogs of my own, and I currently live with two lovely golden retrievers. I enjoy helping others in this way by alleviating stress and making sure their pet(s) are well cared for while they’re away! I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of time with your pets! I’m available Mondays and Tuesdays before 10am for a morning walk, and Wednesdays-Fridays any time for walks, play and quality time. Im available for pet and house sitting weekdays and weekends! When you provide the details of your pet’s routine, I’ll make sure they will be well cared for, and the routine consistent! They’ll get lots of active time and attention.
About: I’ve grown up with a wide variety of pets and have been missing hanging out with furry friends since moving into my dorm this year. I have experience both owning and looking after pets at every age, from puppies to elderly dogs (who will forever be puppies in my heart). I’m also experienced with giving dogs medicine. Pets hold a special connection with us and they deserve the best most attentive care during their whole lives. I am a senior in college so my schedule is relatively relaxed. Typically my days consist of no more than 2 in person classes, giving me time in the mornings and evenings either before or after class. Though I cannot offer housing myself I can easily look after your pet in the comfort of their own home. I always request meeting with you prior to sitting in order to become accustomed to your style of pet parenting and insure I am able to give your pets the exact type of care they need. This can range from regular walks, feedings at specific times, or even just spending time with an anxious pet. I will always do whatever possible to make your furry friend as comfortable and happy as they can be!
About: I am an animal mom of several years of cats, dogs. I have two cats and I did have a dog. I know of the general care of animals. I go above and beyond taking them in as my own. I respect their personal boundaries. I would have to come to you. I do work full time in the evenings from Tuesday to Friday generally from 3-11pm. For dogs walking ill take them on hour long walks, if we find a field ill play fetch. I am very good at following instructions to a tee. As well as administratoring meds. I am very comfortable with that. Hey I'm working full-time in the evening. Usually tuesday through friday from 3-11, but I am home every morning and weekends. I cant wait to share my space with your furry babies. I do live in an apartment, so for dog care I would come to you. I also have two cats that are cat and dog friendly.
About: I’ve had my own dogs for my entire life, but started pet sitting 4-5 years ago. I love to spend time with animals, and do great with dogs/cats of any ages! I am currently a college student, and have a pretty open schedule! I can be flexible to fit whatever needs that your pet may have. I follow any instructions/rules that clients have for their own households. I will happily let dogs sleep in bed with me, but also know many dogs prefer their own crates/spaces.

“Great dog sitter, and has good availability. Took on our dog last minute. He sent pictures of our baby and communicated with us when our flights were delayed. Very great at taking care of our dog with various medicine protocols at feeding times.”

“Irene was a SUPERB host for my Rita and will absolutely be re-booking in the future! Facilitated a smooth meet and greet, welcomed Rita in, and was in clear and consistent communication.”

“I cannot sing enough praise loud enough for Monika! Communication from the beginning has been amazing, to how she expertly handled meet & greet, to how she loves our 140 lb. Rottweiler and sends photos/videos while he is in her trusted care. Let’s just say if 1 million stars was an option I would give her a million stars. Beyond grateful to have found her and I know our big boy Rocky feels the same. Highly recommend.”
