About: Hello! I am a recent college graduate looking for a side hustle, and am an avid animal lover! I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently live on a farm where I have become knowledgeable in caring for a variety of animals and how to be attentive to individual animal needs. Growing up surrounded by all kinds of pets has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and compassion, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am responsible and strive to provide a safe, loving, and calm environment so you can feel confident your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away! I currently work part-time at an online job. My online job allows me to set my own hours, so I am very flexible and will be available most days of the week. I am unable to bring pets to my own home but am more than willing to drive to your home to take care of your pet! At your home I will make sure to provide your pet with plenty of love and attention, and I will be responsible about tending to your pets needs!

Kristin was very punctual and responsible. She noted every detail of their walk, including pee and poop stops. She was observant enough to alert me to possible ailments stemming from their walk like, sore paws or a rash from where their harness rubs. She noted that one of our girls peed more than normal. Knowing this, I can call a vet to have her checked out. I would highly recommend Krissi to anyone who needs a dog walker or sitter. I'm definitely planning on hiring her again.

Jolynn was a life saver when I injured my ankle and was suddenly unable to walk my very active pup. She was very responsive to my dog’s needs (and mine) and went above and beyond to provide my dog with fun adventures along with the exercise she needed. I will definitely book her again!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was about 5 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to feed, exercise and take care of their animals. Overnights are not always going to be accepted for me on weekends due to hunting season and having animals of my own. I’ll be able to accept any times during the week due to being laid off. Cash payment is always welcome to save money 😁 I love playing fetch with dogs and giving cats all the scratches they want and desire haha. I am used to spoiled animals so your animals will definitely get the exercise they need. I am also able to crate dogs if needed.

I requested services from Amy to walk my dog Penny while I was out of town. Although I was unable to meet her in person, Amy exceeded my expectations. I was a little apprehensive about someone else walking my dog because she is still a young lab in training, Amy understood my concerns and made me feel comfortable with her services. On the days Amy would take Penny out, she constantly sent me updates with photos and videos of Penny playing with other dogs. Penny was also very well behaved with Amy, which was my concern, and that she listened to Amy. When penny was dropped off at my parents house, my mom would tell me how exhausted Penny would come home after a day with Amy and how well behaved she was after the walks. Overall, I’m very happy that I picked Amy and would definitely consider asking her again for her services again. She’s awesome!

About: I've been looking after dogs since I was a kid. I've always had dogs, I've worked for vets and for pet supply stores, and one side of my family is littered with vets and farm type folks. I have a ton of experience with all sorts of animals, but I love dogs the most. Right now I'm not doing anything else that requires me to be anywhere at any particular time, so I am incredibly flexible as far as scheduling goes. I live in an apartment with my 35 pound wonder mutt named Puck, and we're not allowed to have any animal guests, but I am more than willing to come to your place and follow your rules. Puck can also be left with a sitter if his presence would be an issue. I follow your directions and I care for your pets and your home as instructed. I am a fairly fastidious person. I believe in returning your place and your pets to you in at least as good a condition as I find them.

About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

About: Starting at an early age I have been caring and loving animals from my home, to volunteer work, and eventually to a professional level. I have experience working with animals with various behavioral, health conditions and other needs while establishing a very patient and gentle way of caring for them. I have been an animal care-taker on farms for various animals, worked with animals in shelters and most recently, a vet assistant for 1.5 years. My deep love and compassion for all animals brings me to naturally work with them so well and effortlessly. Being a life-long fur mama, you can trust your babies will be in the safest hands! For the moment, my schedule is focused on animal care-taking. If you are looking for a regular or occasional pet sitter, I can be available. I do have a food business I am creating, so there may be some days or times of the month I am not available, but check my schedule and I know we can find a time and way to make it work for us both. My services offer caring for your pets in your home. Based on your request and needs for your animals, I will fulfill all the care-taking needs. If your animal needs a little extra love and socializing, I will always provide that. Some animals can be unsure and nervous with new people, I am always aware of all behavioral signs animals give me when I need to respect there space and understand when they are ready to accept me as there friend. I never rush interactions and allow the animal to make their decision to approach me and will always provide a calm and friendly energy so that they can build their trust with me.

I am well versed in medication and dietary restrictions as my dogs have had a variety of allergy related problems I've had to solve and also am good with leash training as my younger dog is very excitable and too happy (strong) so he has had to learn some leash manners. About: We have both had dogs and cats our entire lives and cared for them alone for most of our adult years. We currently are without a pet, and would love to spend time with yours to get our fill! We love to spend time outside and can take active dogs on long hikes or to spend time in the dog park. Older dogs or indoor cats will find a loving lap to cuddle on and a friendly belly rub whenever they want. Whitney works during the day and Pablo works in the evenings, so your pets will have someone home with them almost all day and night. We are both full-time students during the school year. Whitney is working on a wildlife biology degree and Pablo is getting his second bachelor's degree in music education. If you need someone to just be present with your pet and keep them company, we have plenty of homework we can sit and do while we spend time with them. We are willing to do drop-in visits as well as spend the night. Unfortunately, our building doesn't allow pets so we can't bring the pets home with us. I go to school a few days a week but rarely for the entire day. I work part-time and virtually, so I have plenty of time to drop in on your pets, take dogs for walks, and make sure the cat has food and water. I can crate pets in needed, and will always make sure they are fed. If your pet has a series of tricks for enrichment, I will be happy to work through them all with them. I can take dogs on long or short walks and to the park, and can also just spend time with them in their yard. Whitney works 9-5 and Pablo works as a server in the evenings, so usually one of us can usually be in your home at any time. We both have experience with older and/or disabled pets as well as puppies and kittens. We will treat your fur babies like they are our own.
