Both are known to struggle with other dogs, including each other. I was honestly preparing for this to simply be a safe, calm stay...what we got was something truly incredible. From the very beginning, Mark asked all the right questions about behavior, needs, routines and safety. It was clear he understood these were not "easy" dogs and approach their care with thoughtfulness, patience and professionalism. I encouraged him to try socializing them only if he felt right about an opportunity. To our complete surprise, Brownie and Odie became best friends almost immediately in his care. About: In my adult life I have loved, and cared for 5 Siberian huskies, and 2 labs! Each have come to me/us uniquely, in all life stages, I have been the primary caregiver ( Mom Status !!!🌟), from puppy days through senior/palliative care. I've seen it all so to speak, and even had the joy of our Tripod Labrador Lizzie for 3 short years. My family is down to one pup now, wow! That hasn't happened since 1997! I ADORE big dogs, especially Huskies, and our Luna is very special and loves dogs, people, play, dog park, traveling with us! Not your typical Husky! I thought mainly about her when signing up as someone who can board another large dog, because she is a high energy girl of 2.5 yrs, and needs play with others! If your pup is well socialized and loves to play, run, interact, I would LOVE to help you and them have a safe place to be, away from the stress that may come with conventional kennel boarding. Medium and large breeds preferred, if you have a pair, senior, or puppy, I will definitely consider them as well, on a meet n greet prior to boarding. I feel for the " oldies but goodies" that need a lil' extra:) If you have a Husky, that would be swell! Thanks for reading! I work very part time 3 morningsa week, so am available and home most of the time. I can offer trips to the dog park overnights stays, as well as Daycare! About: I don't really have any special skills. We just love animals and we'd love to care for yours when needed. We can feed , walk , give medications , hug on and love your pets. I'm retired now and I don't have any recurring responsibilities so Im pretty much available, all the time. My daughter also lives here with me and she really , really , really loves animals. Sadly at this point they have all passed on of old age, so I would be especially happy to spend time caring for your animals. I am only employed on a very part time basis, so I have a fairly open and flexible schedule for dog walking, home visits and boarding on most weekdays, and some weekends. I have a fenced back yard perfect for pets to hang out in, and there is also a covered area in the back yard if the weather is rainy. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, dogs and a couple cows on our property, if you have a dog, it must be okay being around these animals and a small child. Please reach out with any questions. We work all day on our permaculture farm and love having an extra dog or two around. Great place for a dog to enjoy running around in nature, a retreat for pets. I have a fenced in pasture available with covered area, or am happy to have your dog free roaming around the farm with a other pets.
