For the past year, I've fostered Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, and various mixed breeds through WAAGR, helping them adjust to new environments, build good habits, and receive the exercise and love they need to thrive. I also play a role in evaluating and selecting adoptive families, one of the most important and rewarding parts of fostering because it helps ensure each dog finds the loving, lifelong home they deserve. What sets me apart is my experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with complex medical needs. Over the years, I've cared for dogs with kidney disease, blastomycosis, chronic ear and skin infections, vestibular disease, and other serious health conditions. I'm comfortable administering oral medications, managing medication schedules, providing subcutaneous fluids, following detailed veterinary instructions, and monitoring for changes in behavior or health. One of my dogs earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification, giving me experience with positive reinforcement and reinforcing good manners and routines. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an energetic adult, a senior needing extra patience, or a pet with special medical needs, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive, reliable care throughout the week. I'm available seven days a week for boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks.
