I work at our local school library during the week from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, just a four-minute drive from home. I come home every day during my lunch break to let the dogs out for a potty break and playtime. Because I work in the school system, I also have occasional days off, plus holidays and school breaks, when I’m home full-time. On weekends, I’m available all day for dog watching, with only brief breaks to run errands like grocery shopping or taking my kids to their sports activities. Your pup will have plenty of attention, play, and love throughout the day!

In my home, dogs are treated like family. With my large, 1.5-acre fenced yard, pups get plenty of time to run, play fetch, explore, and enjoy each other’s company in a safe space. I have a doggie door that allows for the dogs to go in and out as they please, but can close it if needed. My three friendly dogs love to be outside and are great playmates for visiting pups! I live in a quiet, double cul-de-sac neighborhood, which makes it perfect for peaceful walks up and down the streets. Inside my home, I create a calm, comfortable environment. If needed, I have the ability to separate one room from the rest of the house to give dogs a safe, quiet space of their own—perfect for dogs who need a little extra privacy or downtime.

Animals are my passion, and dogs hold a special place in my heart! Our family lives in the town of Cedarburg, where we share our home with three friendly dogs and a spacious 1.5-acre fenced yard. With a doggie door that lets pups come and go as they please (weather permitting), our dogs can explore more often, getting the exercise and entertainment they need. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of fostering and finding loving homes for eight dogs, giving me plenty of experience with pups of all personalities and needs. My three kids, ages 10, 11, and 12, are incredibly gentle and responsible with dogs—they love to play, cuddle, and help care for any animal that comes into our home. Your pup will feel right at home here, surrounded by love.

Laura is an amazing dog owner and foster parent. She shares her unbelievable love, patience and fun-loving attitude with her dogs and foster dogs. It seems like "the more the merrier!" In addition her welcoming home is spacious, has a doggie door, and has a huge fenced in backyard, trees and gardens and all kinds of places for everyone to roam, be curious and to just run around and have fun in a safe environment. She has the feeding routine down pat for each of the different personalities, is always observing and monitoring for any physical or health changes and spends a lot of time with each one. I can recommend Laura as a fantastic pet caregiver in the highest possible way!
Laura is an exceptional dog caretaker. She has watched our dogs many times and they always come home happy and tired from all the joyful playtime! She cares about our dogs like they are her own. She has experience with dogs of all ages, behaviors, and temperaments and can handle dogs with various medical issues as well.
