About: I have 5 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 4 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. You, my customer are more than welcome to come into my house and yard and meet myself, and my dogs.

Your pet will be under my full-time loving care at my home, or in your home. I offer both services. Your pet will only be crated when I need to step out momentarily. In my home, pets are part of the family! 🐾 I have a fully fenced one-acre yard where they can safely run and play, and when the weather’s nice, we’ll spend lots of time outside together. Indoors, your pup will be right by my side, whether that’s hanging out in the kitchen watching me cook or relaxing nearby. I don’t crate unless you request it or for brief times when needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick to their routine and give them plenty of attention, exercise, and love so they feel safe and comfortable until you’re back.

I always stress about finding a reliable sitter when I am away and thought why not help relieve that stress for other pet parents. I worked at a boarding facility as an operational manager for 2 years and have experience with all types of pups, including providing medications, special diets, etc. I also have two pups of my own and one has liver complications and the other one has entered old age, so fully understand the importance of care. They are my world. I value creating an environment that suites all fur babies. If yours needs a space of their own, I can make that happen in my home. I have tons of space and am happy to make sure your fur babies are comfortable. I have a fenced yard with a tall privacy fence so potty breaks are secure and will be fully supervised. I can offer walks throughout the day for additional charge. My time is very flexible. I create my own schedule at my job so I can make anything happen with proper notice. I’m open to help whenever and wherever. I have two friendly pups who love other dogs. I have been trained in dog behavior and feel confident to know when a dog needs a break, uncomfortable, etc.. About: Hi I I'm Lexi and I’m completely OBSESSED with animals. I personally own a dog, 2 cats, a python and a bearded dragon. If I could convince my husband to allow me to have 2 to 7 more animals, I’d be the happiest girl in the world :) Rover allows me to have hundreds of fur babies, even if it’s temporary and that’s why I offer boarding, drop in visits and doggy day camp! I've worked at a pet grooming/boarding facility called Pet Plaza so I have experience with many different breeds and many different breed personalities. I also managed a dog boarding/daycare/grooming facility for the past 2 years. I’ve been a part-time Rover sitter for almost 10 years but I’ve recently made a career change and decided to prioritize Rover as my full-time job. I’m excited to see my client base grow and I can’t wait to live on as many fur babies as I can! ———————————————————— Drop-In Visit: If you live outside my booking radius (5 miles) I do charge a $5 travel fee per visit. If you’d like your pup to go on walks during drop-in visits, there’s an additional charge of $5 per walk or $25 total if your pup requires a walk every visit. *Please note dog walking is an additional Rover service ————————————————————— Boarding Info - I can/will provide the following: 1. 1 Pup Den (a crate for feeding times and/or sleep) 2. I dedicate 10+ hours a day to all my boarded pups and I spend a minimum of 6hrs outside daily. Potty trained pups are allowed to free roam the entire property and home. They sleep wherever they’d like, inside. Puppies are allowed to free roam the indoor play area ONLY and they are not allowed to free roam inside the home. Puppies are able to roam the entire backyard.

About: I've had dogs all my life, but grew up loving animals of all kinds. I have previously done pet check-ins and dog walks on Rover. I did not do in-house sitting, in order to keep my house my senior dog's safe space. But I lost my best friend after 17 1/2 years, and am missing the friendship and companionship in my home. I have been helping a local rescue with short term fostering when one of their fosters goes on vacation, as well as holiday fostering with Williamson County Animal Center. I would like to slowly open my home to new furry dog friends. I am familiar with senior dog issues and giving medications in pill and powder form, however, I don't have experience with injections, so I would not be the best fit if your pet requires those. I work at home full time during the week 7:00-4:00. Although I am home during the day and mostly available, I do have meetings throughout the day and can get pulled into conference calls, so I am not always instantly available and will need a little notice to book or cancel so that I can make sure I see your message and have availability when you drop off/pick up. I am open on how to best care for your pet based on your needs. I know from having a senior dog they all have their little quirks that make each one different. Do they have special food or special needs? Please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate them. I just lost my best fur friend after 17 1/2 years, so I am looking for other fur friends to love on. I work full time from home, and am mostly available when not in meetings/calls. I would like to meet/call pet parents before their pet's first booking and get as much information and instruction as possible. I want to make sure that the pet parent's expectations are met.

My kids also really enjoy picking up the dog poop while we are on walks (hey, I’ll take that as a win!) part of the money goes to them for being the best helpers. My husband works full time from home. Someone is always home and available to take care of your pet. We have sports on Saturday morning where we are gone for 3 hours, other than that we are typically home We do not have a fenced yard, but we have 3 kids who love taking the animals out with us and helping with walks.
