“Melissa helped administer medicine for our 13-year old shih tzu while we were away. She also checked in and was friendly with our grandmother(who had stayed home but was unfamiliar with giving our deog her medication). Melissa definitely helped us rest a little easier on vacation, knowing that our old pup was getting the medications she needed.”

“Xuizhen is soooo loving toward Ginny and greets her every Tuesday like a long lost friend. Ginny loves playing with Goofy - and the spoiling she gets from Xuizhen and her family. 5 stars for sure!”

“Kristina is absolutely incredible! She treats my little fur baby as if he were her very own. I highly recommend her for your daycare needs. I am thrilled that I found her and feel relieved knowing Romeo is in excellent hands.”

“Jet had a great time playing at Erin's house with the other dogs! Erin sent me cute pics and videos of Jet's visit so I was able to be reassured that he was doing fine. We will definitely visit again!”

About: i have been taking care of fur babies since I was 10 years old. I open my home to animals of all ages, even the grumps. (My senior is a sweet grump lol) I currently work from home so I am available all day to offer walks, sitting services & a loving home. Besides my everyday routine they should fit right in. I have an open yard but I would be very closely monitoring at all times. They would never be unsupervised. I have a 9 year old chihuahua of my own his name is Chuy and he’s the toughest scardy cat you will ever meet lol. Dogs are allowed on certain furniture and I provide open style crates for sleeping.

“I am so grateful for Sherri. She took on our pup last minute after a chaotic morning and was a total life saver! She keep me updated with photos and dealt well with my pups every. Got my pup back very happy and healthy!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner of a Mini Aussie for 3.5 years. I’m skilled in dealing with high energy dog breeds, administering oral medications, managing younger dogs, and of course making sure dogs get plenty of exercise. Flexible schedule so I can cater to your dog’s schedule and keep them comfortable and happy. My dog will also join in on the fun! I keep a dog safe environment for my own dog, and also have put a cover on my sofa so that dogs can enjoy my furniture during their stay here, without any hassle!

“Maria is my go to for caring for my pup when i work long hours! she’s always reliable , keeps me updated , and always ensures my big boy has the best time. 10/10 recommend and i look forward to our weekly visits”

About: For boarding we are limiting 2 dogs (plus our one golden retriever) at a time so they can be treated like family and not get so overwhelmed. No aggressive dogs for boarding please. They will hang out with us during the day and sleep with us at night. I truly love bonding with animals and it brings me so much joy. I would also love to do drop ins (cats and dogs) and walks. Take advantage of my low rates! I’m trying to get star sitter status and I’ve lowered my rates to help make that happen. I have experience with puppies to senior dogs and taking care of cats. I’m responsible and dependable. And I loooooove animals. I’m one of those that can’t watch videos where animals get hurt or it upsets me the whole day. If I’m showing up in your search results then I will be home during that time. For boarding, my husband does help with the pups. The days vary but I promise to keep my calendar accurate. I am very responsible and you can trust me with your loved little ones. My husband is also present if needed and he has a huge heart for dogs.

“My Ginny loved being at Leah's home with her 2 dogs. As far as i know, Ginny gets along with cats as well. Ginny is very compatible with Leah's dog Bailey making for a great playmate and socialization. Ginny needs a more active environment - so that she is encountering more animals, people and various living situations. I know Leah is kind and caring - and feel soooo blessed ginny has her as a resource for fun, love and learning interactions.”

“We had an excellent experience with Mariah as Pancho’s caregiver. She was always kind, reliable, and had a great attitude. She sent us updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Planning to use her services again! Highly recommended.”

About: PLEASE READ If your pup is regularly groomed, please, make sure they are groomed before dropping off for boarding! All pups, ESPECIALLY those new to boarding, can get upset tummies from time to time. I will bathe them free of charge if this happens. I would NEVER leave them unclean. If they are not groomed, bathing when this happens is not fun for them 😥 (nor me) and stressful when they are already out of their comfort zones. I will charge $40 each time they need a bath if they are not groomed. I keep my own pup trimmed around his bottom and tail even if the rest of his hair is long. Thank you for understanding! 🙏 I aim for a very pleasant happy stay when your pup is with me.💕 I've had ALL kinds of animals all my life! Guinea pigs, 22 year old leopard gecko (that was one of my other geckos babies), tortoises, and fish. My kitty, Blue, was 21 and died in my arms. I rescued her from a box in front of the pet store where I worked. I currently only have TipToe, the blonde chorkie in the pictures. My children, who are now in college, love animals and take care of pets as well when they are home. We have neighbors who we watch or walk doggies for on a regular basis. I only watch small dogs due to the size of my home and yard. So, if you have a little one then this is the place for them! No worries about being bumped around by a larger pup. My fee is higher, but my clients are fewer and your pup is guaranteed not to have larger pups as companions here. I am a great choice for your little one. My neighborhood is very quiet and I'm a homebody! 😄 I don't use crates. If you require one for sleeping, you must provide. I do require a "Meet and Greet" before booking for new clients. I require the name of your vet and proof of vaccines and canine bordetella. We can take care of other animals and reptiles as well. I worked in a pet store for many years when I was younger. TipToe is vet checked annually and up to date on all shots. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your pet is up to date and has its shot for canine cough. I do NOT treat my yard for fleas (nor do I fertilize the backyard). TipToe is on a flea preventative year round. I will only feed your animals what you have given to me. They are treated like my own. I am a huge gardener and outside most of my summer with the backdoor open so the dogs can go out or in as they please. My fence is very secure and gates are locked. I will send photo/text updates. Have references available as well. I'm fairly flexible! As those that have used me before would attest to. If you have a missed flight or traffic problem and require an unexpected overnight stay it usually is fine. It would just require another nights charge. Drop-offs and pick-ups can be anywhere between 6:45am and 7:30pm. I am a little flexible, but much earlier or later would require an overnight stay. I keep a very clean house and it is very well taken care of. I do not leave dog food lying around. Fresh water dishes outside and in daily. My wooden stairs have treads, but I mostly carry little ones up and down. I'm used to doing that for my old man, TipToe. :-) Special requests: I prefer to walk dogs with harnesses, but will meet your pups need. If you have other animals that need boarding or looked after like rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, birds, turtles, fish, cats, I have experience with all sorts of animals. I'm a Master Gardener so if you need me to take care of plants while you're away I can do that for an additional fee as well. :-) I feed my Tip before I leave for work every morning and leave him in the gated kitchen with his "den" and a treat. I used to watch him on camera to see what he would do during the day. He never left his "den!" HA! Margie did sometimes, though. Animals are family. When I get home Tip and I go for a walk. He is with family the rest of the day. A very happy spoiled rescue pup. We let animals stay on our furniture... that's why only small dogs. :-) If your dog is elderly we will not let on furniture out of fear for hurtling themselves jumping off. If you want your pet to stay in a crate you must provide it. All pets are fed in separate areas. Water is refreshed daily or more often if needed. We also have toys... as some of our guests have found favorites and go back to them when they come over again!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 40 years. I keep small dogs in my home and have experience in giving medication, including insulin. As I am retired, my weekday and weekend hours are flexible. I am willing to work with the client’s schedule based on their pet’s needs. I keep only small, well behaved dogs in my home. I have a fenced in yard in a pet friendly neighborhood. A crate is available if needed.

About: Providing professional pet care services to the North Atlanta (including East Cobb, Marietta, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Sandy Springs, Chastain Park, & Cumberland/The Battery) & Savannah areas, as well as travel house/petsitting! 🐶🐱 🐩 🐈 🐐 🐎 🐓 🦆 🦜 🦚 🐰 🦔 🦎 🐢 🐠 Taking care of animals has always been a passion of mine. Animals have always been part of my family and you can rest assured that I will treat your pet(s) as if they are my "fur(or furless)-nieces/nephews"! Which, of course, means lots of love & attention, fun, safe & responsible activities, patience, understanding, compassion, and all-around great care! I'm a “dog mom” to three rescue pups as well as rescue axolotls (also known as "water dogs") and a rescue guinea pig, all with wonderfully unique personalities. I adore all animals, including the ones I have yet to meet. I have extensive experience caring for dogs & cats of all shapes and sizes, breeds, backgrounds, and levels of need, as well as a variety of other animals (including horses, birds, reptiles, amphibians, farm animals, rodents, and more)! This includes over 15 years of taking care of my own pets, and those of friends, neighbors, and clients, as well as many years of experience working and volunteering in animal rescue/shelter environments (including positive reinforcement training with Victoria Stilwell), the Georgia Aquarium (including the water quality, commissary, husbandry, and quarantine departments), wildlife rehab, the veterinary setting (as a vet assistant), and the animal-assisted therapy field (canines and equines). In addition, I worked as a research assistant in canine cognition and helped train service and detection dogs while pursuing my degree. After graduating and moving to a different state, I missed engaging with and caring for such a wonderful variety of animals on a weekly/daily basis and the rewarding heartfelt connections with the animals I worked with, which is what brought me here to Rover! I love working with all types of pets and I have a soft spot for animals who are misunderstood/stigmatized by society when it comes to their species, breed, and/or special needs! My schedule is typically fairly flexible during the week and weekends. We can of course discuss your pet's specific individualized needs in further detail when you message us. UPDATE 5/18/22: My spouse, Joseph, has been added to my account as a Rover vetted and approved caretaker, which includes passing Rover's background check process. He grew up with Poodles and has many years of experience caring for dogs. I will continue to be the primary pet care provider, as he works full-time at Dobbins, but this means your pets will now get excellent care and attention from both of us at no additional cost! We provide lots of attention, fun, safe and responsible activities, patience, understanding, compassion, and all-around great care individually catered around your pet's likes/preferences, needs, and comfort level! We're looking forward to the opportunity to meet, play with, and provide excellent, quality care for your beloved pets! Looking forward to hearing from you and your pets soon! *Kind woofs & tailwags!* 🐾🐶🐾 Military Servicemember, Honorably Discharged/Ret. Veteran, First Responder or Frontline Medical Worker? About: Hi! I have grown up with dogs my entire life, and my husband & I currently have two dogs of our own. We love all breeds, big or small, and are big advocates for rescue dogs. We often foster for local shelters & have had many foster dogs come through our door. They each hold a very special place in our hearts! I would love to come visit your pups during the day and give them the attention that they deserve. I can take your dog on walks, play fetch, snuggle, read books, whatever they like! I can also board your dog in our home if they are dog friendly. They will be treated like family & enjoy the fenced backyard to sniff and explore! I am usually available any day of the week and, for the most part, have a flexible schedule! I’d love to chat and see how I can help. If I am taking care of your dogs in your home, I will treat your home with respect! Communication is also VERY important to me! I can provide updates and photos of your pups to you while you are away for your peace of mind. I think it’s important for pet owners to feel at ease while they are away from their fur babies & I will strive to ensure this for you.
