About: I have been around dogs my entire life. Therefore, I am well equipped to take care of dogs of all ages and of all breeds. I am currently a Masters student with a clinical rotation starting mid August. Currently, I have a lot of free time, but once I start working I will have free time mostly in the mornings and evenings as well as the weekends. I will meet your pets needs, whatever that may mean for them as an individual. I will specialize my care for them based off of their personal needs to ensure they are both mentally and physically well.

About: I’m a certified veterinary assistant and I currently work as a kennel attendant and pet care employee. I take classes at Reynolds community college and in high school, i was apart of the veterinarian science center. I have experience with all animals including cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, ferrets, and amphibians. I foster animals and I take pride in what I do. I’m determined to break the stereotype that teens aren’t good workers. I’m not squeamish about poop, vomit, or bugs if you have a reptile in need of a snack! I currently have pets of my own including a bearded dragon, a dog, two rabbits, a hamster, hermit crabs and fish. If you have a dog who pulls on a leash, no need to worry I’m strong, and learned the proper techniques. If you have a cat or dog with separation anxiety, don’t worry. Any animal is welcome to sleep on my bed. Please ask any questions about your specific pets and I’ll be sure to get back to you. I take online classes. I am free all weekdays and weekends. I do work some mornings during the weekend so let me know and i’ll clear my schedule for your pet! If your pet is staying at my house, I’ll be sure to provide the proper care. Reach out to me and we can talk about your specific pets/species. If you have a dog he/she is more than welcome to sleep in my bed and I will provide walks in the morning and night. A meet and greet is required since I have a dog. My dog gets along with anyone but I’d like to see if they’ll be a good match. My family’s always home and your dog will never be alone. As for daily check ins, I’ll check on your pet at home and provide the proper care, including walks. If i’m staying at your house, I’m respectful to other people’s property. I understand what it’s like being away from your pet and I won’t shy away if you have cameras in your home.

About: Hi! I’m Jordan — a lifelong animal lover and experienced caregiver with a deep appreciation for how much pets are truly part of the family. Whether you have a playful pup, a mellow senior, or an anxious rescue, I provide thoughtful, loving care tailored to your pet’s needs. I currently work with flexible hours and love spending time outdoors or snuggling with animals. I’m also detail-oriented and great at following feeding, medication, or walking instructions exactly as given. I grew up with dogs, fish, guinea pigs, geckos, you name it! I have experience with breeds ranging from small breeds like Yorkies to larger dogs like Labs or Shepherds. I’m also comfortable with senior pets, puppies, or animals needing a little extra patience. I treat your pet and home with total respect, just like I’d want someone to do for me. Whether you need a daily walk or drop-in visits, I’d love to help give your pet attention, care, and love while you’re away. 🐶🐾 Serving both areas of Waynesboro, VA and Richmond, VA. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine — I genuinely enjoy slowing down and being present with animals. I have a flexible schedule with availability during mornings, variable evenings, and weekends, which allows me to give pets the attention and consistency they need. Whether it’s a midday walk or a weekend drop-in, I prioritize being dependable and communicative for pets and their people. Whether in my home or yours, I treat pets like family — with patience, respect, and intention. I follow all care instructions closely and take time to understand each pet’s unique routines, preferences, and personalities. In a client’s home, I ensure pets feel comfortable in their own space while maintaining cleanliness, boundaries, and security (like locking doors and checking gates). If I care for pets in my home, they’ll have a calm, cozy environment with limited noise, no other pets, plenty of cuddles, and structured downtime. Safety is always at the top of my mind — I never leave pets unattended outside, and I’m careful with food, toys, and household hazards. I also provide regular updates and photos so you feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: Your fur baby will have a blast with our pack! Winnie, Tater and Goose are the ultimate pals. We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. I will care for your pup however you feel they will do the best (:

With over 45 years of hands.on experience, I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats and pets with special or behavioral requirements. My calm, attentive nature helps animals feel safe and comfortable, and I always go the extra mile to ensure they’re happy and well loved, just like they hit the jackpot. I’m self employed with a highly flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate ample time and o caring for pets. Whether it’s daily walks, extended stays, or last minute visits, I’m able to adjust my routine to meet your pet’s needs and ensure consistent, reliable care. Pets in my care are treated with the utmost respect and attention to their comfort and safety. I provide a secure, enriching environment with plenty of space for supervised play and exercise. I don’t use cages, I believe in open, stress-free spaces where pets can relax and feel at home.

I foster a lot my dogs are very tolerant of newcomers.

“Alexandra took such good care of my brand new puppy and was such a good sport. Can’t express how thankful I am for how much help she was. My pup loved her and it was awesome to find someone I could trust entirely!”

About: I've had dogs all my life as a kid and now as an adult! Love dogs to no end, Have a New Foundland and Golden Retriever. Fenced in back yard on 4 acres, Not into bathing and grooming dogs but will give them the care they need and more! I'm retired military and will make this a fulltime thing if things work out! I currently work part time at Lowe's and my wife is home during the day I have a fenced in backyard and also have 2 dogs of my own. I am able to care for dogs in your home as long as we live fairly close together and my wife is home to care for our pups!

About: I have 2 Great Danes who I have taken care of for the last 5 years, one of which we had as a puppy! My Danes have a variety of health and behavioral challenges, so I am familiar with giving pets medication and calming them down. I had a senior Labrador who needed help going up and down the stairs as well as medication. Currently, I am not working an in person job, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am able to pet or house sit as often as needed. I am able to spend extra time with the pets, alongside feeding them and letting them out. I am also able to water plants and clean up after the pets.

About: I love many animals & I have owned 3 dogs who I love. Besides that I currently work at a pet boarding & daycare for the last 4 years which allows me to experience all sorts of personalities and needs that a dog may have as well as provide all the cuddles and treats warranted/ allowed. Lastly I was in a program in high school that allowed to experience what it’s like workings with other animals besides dogs and cats for 2 years. I currently work part time at my job, but I also am in school currently studying health science. I can consider taking dogs to my job as well to have daycare and be in my care during my shift as long as all the required vet shots are done, but I mainly want to do extra pet care on the days that I do not work as I love to be surrounded by pets throughout the week. Typically I can best work with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but weekdays are possible depending on time and amount of visits needed to meet your pets daily needs. I take my dogs out usually 3-5 times a day & leave water down throughout the day. Besides that she is normally fed 2x/day. At my job though we do 15 min walks if the parent wants that as an add on service so I’m used to the occasional long walk & dealing with dogs that require certain medicine, but am also up for learning new ways.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was seven years old. My family had two kittens that I cared for and I was responsible for pet sitting other fur babies in the neighborhood growing up. I also attended many animal science/nature camps growing up, it’s where I got my first hermit crab! I also know the Heimlich maneuver for both cats and dogs. In my junior year of high school I applied and was accepted to the HOSA veterinary science program where I graduated in the National Honors Society. Shortly after graduation, I started working at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. My job was to help restrain animals for exams/shots, organize medications, prepare/read fecal slides and determine if intestinal parasites are present, collect urine samples, and provide basic care. Overall I have had personal experience caring for dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, goats, horses, hamsters, chickens/chicks, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, chinchillas, birds, lizards, snakes, frogs, turtles, hermit crabs, and axolotls. I am currently a student in nursing school and am working as a part time server. I only have classes two days a week on Monday (6 AM - 6 PM) and Tuesday (8:30 AM - 11:15 AM) and work a couple hours 2 evenings a week, but can take off if needed for services. I like to learn about their daily routine and what they like to do for fun so and incorporate those things into our routine while clients are gone, so pets feel safe and relaxed while their family isn’t there.

About: Hey, my name is Erin! I’ve had my own animals my entire life, but I also have 4 years of dog training professionally. I worked for the company Dogtopia (a great dog daycare/boarding facility) as a canine coach and assistant manager. I worked hands on in the room with the dogs during open play, and one on one in grooming and training sessions. Unfortunately, my husband travels for work so a traditional 9-5 doesn’t always work for me, hence finding my own lane with Rover! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend. :) I work from home remotely part time as a paralegal, and outside of that I am a stay at home wife. Pet care fits seamlessly into my life and I am open to working with clients to help accommodate special time needs. I cannot accommodate watching your pup at my own home because I have my own rescue who does not want to share the space. Thank you for understanding!

About: Taking care of dogs or any animal in fact has always been something I really enjoyed from a young age. I started a few years ago just reaching out to friends and family to take care of their pups and I’ve had a blast and want to make it a more every day thing. I just love making dogs as happy as they make me:) Pet care fits perfectly into my routine since I work very part-time and have lots of flexibility. I love being able to plan my days around walks, playtime, and quality time with the pets I care for. I’m also available for overnights, which means I can give pets extra comfort and consistency while their owners are away—it’s something I genuinely enjoy, so it never feels like work! When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, clean, and comfortable space with plenty of attention and playtime. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible, including feeding, walks, and any meds they need. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to keep things consistent for the pet. Whether it’s my home or theirs, I treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel loved, relaxed, and well cared for

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have trusted me to help care for their beloved four-legged friends for years, so I know I can care for yours with as much love as I'd give my own. I've had my own little girl live with me even while at college and I know how important they can be to us. I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of morning or evening availability to take care of your loved ones. I am also available on most weekends. I have an electric fence at my home, but my dogs are trained well enough that they can often be let out without worry. If I am watching your fur baby, I will provide one-on-one attention and only give them interaction with my own pets if we discuss it prior.

“We used Hayden for a couple drop in visits for our 3 month old kittens. She was very sweet!! She changed their litter everyday and even took out our trash for us! We will definitely keep her in mind next time :)”

“Erin is a fantastic pet caregiver with a genuine love for dogs and a great sense of responsibility. We have a young Anatolian Shepherd named Nala, who is very large and *spirited*. Even in their first meeting, Erin immediately knew how to approach her, calm her, and start working through some basic training that we desperately needed support with for our young pup. Nala always receives the best care and attention from Erin. Highly recommend!”

Hayden H.
“Hayden has pet sit for us many times and he is simply the best. We have a German Shepherd and he absolutely loves when Hayden comes over. It puts our mind at ease when we go on vacation. I would recommend Hayden to anyone that is in need of a pet sitter or dog walker. You won’t be disappointed.”
