I grew up in a house with lots of pets: 4 cats, 2 dogs, 1 iguana, 1 bearded dragon, countless fish, frogs, a few hermit crabs, ants (in a terrarium!), and sometimes mice. About: I’ve lived with and have cared for both dogs and cats since I was little, and currently have 1 dog at home. I have experience handling leash reactive dogs, and have learned from trainers on how to handle situations while out walking. I am currently in between jobs so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to walk dogs. I can walk dogs anywhere from 9 a.m up to 3 p.m. I have a fully fenced yard that overlooks a babbling creek. There is plenty of room to run around outside and play ball. When caring for dogs i make sure there is lots of play time with different toys and games that stimulate a dogs brain as well as lots of cozy space for a dog rest.

I am a total animal lover and have lots of time throughout the day to take your pup on walks, play fetch, and let them run around our spacious back yard. I now currently have a Mini Australian Shepherd who loves to play with other dogs. I am a part time teacher, so I am free after 12:30 M-F and weekends. For the months of June and July I am available any time during the day/night. Anytime I let pets out in the yard I will be out there with them to ensure they are safe and not getting out of the yard. We have a fairly large, fenced in flat back yard which is perfect for running around or playing fetch. I take my pup on two walks per day, one in the morning and the other shortly before dinner time (that is flexible for whether your dog needs more or less than that). My dog, Cooper, is a 4 year old old energetic and lovable Mini Australian Shepherd mix. He loves to play, but also loves his nap times throughout the day. He gets along with all dogs.

In 5th grade I became the neighborhood dog walker, walking multiple doggies at a time! Growing up, my family had a German Shepherd (you can also add cat, hamster, chinchilla and birds to this list). Now my family has Mousse, the sweetest Pitbull- boxer mix who is the light in all of our lives (he lives with my parents). I am very passionate about dogs and their happiness and well- being. For dog walking / drop – in visits: Happy to take them on walks around their block, their favorite park, around downtown LG, Vasona Park. I would be happy to have your pet come to my home. I do have a 10 year old daughter who accommodates me when she is allowed in helping with your pets (usually providing them with never ending belly rubs and playtime or as needed). We do live in an apartment however so preferably dogs that don’t have separation anxiety or bark is ideal! When in my clients home I am very respectful of their property and will arrange my schedule to the daily schedule of their pets. About: I've cared for dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, frogs, parakeets, hamsters, fish and turtles. I volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a puppy raiser and learned a lot about positive dog training from that experience. I can administer meds (pills, inhaled steroids, subcutaneous fluids) and carry out routine grooming tasks. I have had 4 dogs and 5 cats over my adult years but currently have no pets. I am recently retired and walk about 3-5 miles/day. Miss walking with a dog. I love cats and miss having one around. I am retired and walk 3-5 miles a day so I can easily fit pet care into my weekly routine and I miss walking with a dog. I am very responsible and will follow your instructions and treat your pets (and home if house sitting) with the same care as I would my own. I live on a quiet street in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced yard. I have a cool head in a crisis. I work with one client at a time. If you have two pets, that is ok with me.

About: I have worked with dogs, cats and animals big and small and as an animal lover I have enjoyed it all. I have experience with young, old, sick and injured pets who have strict schedules for meds or just food and exercise. Energetic or lazy we love them all and a little extra love when the parents are away is the answer to everything. I have walked dogs much larger than myself and breeds that are stereotyped but all dogs and cats(for those who like being walked) are living animals when treated with care and thus need to be treated without stigma we put open them. I used to have dogs at home but currently my furry friends are two cats named Helios and Selene. I’m a college student and I work part time but I always communicate with pet parents about schedules and what their pet needs. I spend most of my time with animals or books. When taking care of a pet in their own environment it’s best to keep it as close to their normal set up as possible, and also to leave someone’s home how it was to begin with.
