“Review for Krystle - Exceptional Pet Care I recently entrusted Krystle with the care of my dog, Pongo, while I was out, and I couldn’t be more pleased with her services. Krystle demonstrated incredible professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals. Pongo, who can be a bit anxious when I’m away, was calm and happy when I returned—a true testament to Krystle’s attentive care. She kept me updated with regular check-ins and photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing Pongo was in great hands. Krystle went above and beyond to ensure that Pongo was not just taken care of, but truly loved and comfortable during my absence. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and experienced to look after your pets, I highly recommend Krystle. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her for future pet-sitting needs!”

“Our little angel spent a week with Taryn and it was so nice to receive updates and pics of him when we were gone. Taryn was very communicative and understanding about our senior guy.”

“Frank and Nancy gave our dog excellent care! They were very responsive, professional, and kind. They sent regular picture/video updates and took our dog on frequent walks. Frank initiated a meet and greet beforehand to meet our dog and that made the drop-off for our dog’s 10 day boarding go so much smoother. We had a great experience with Frank and Nancy and we will be using them again!”

“Super happy that we found Nicole to watch our dog! She is a great communicator and sent lots of photos during the stay. Our dog can be a little nervous but loved her and her pups. We will definitely book her to dog sit again!”

“We are thankful to Jennifer for taking good care of our boy while we were out of town for work. We received quick communication and good availability from Jennifer. Throughout the stay, we received picture updates and quick communication as well. At his return, our energetic pup was healthy, tired, and a happy boy! We didn't have any issues with our multiple day stay with Jennifer. She really gets to know your pet and understands their needs.”

“Jasleen was very attentive and caring with my boy. I really appreciate that she kept in contact with me about his daily routine. Will definitely use her again. Thank you Jasleen.”

About: Hi, I’m Megan and have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages from energetic puppies to sweet seniors. I understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family. My life has been shaped by the companionship of dogs, ranging from Chihuahuas to Dalmatians, and I treat every guest with the same deep respect and affection I give my own. I work from home, which means your dog will have constant companionship and supervision inside the house with me. I pride myself on being highly responsible and will strictly abide by any specific rules or medical considerations you have for your pet. I share my home with two calm, small breed Yorkies: Roxy, my 15 year old senior lady who loves to nap, and Dalton, my 7 year old boy who is a "chill" social butterfly. Dalton gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys a gentle play session. * The Environment: My home is a quiet, low stress "zen" space perfect for dogs who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. * The Yard: I have a large, fully enclosed backyard with a pool. For safety, I never allow dogs outside unsupervised. * Safety First: Because I work from home, your dog will spend their day indoors with me, ensuring they stay cool and comfortable. Services & Specialized Care * Senior Care: I have a soft spot for seniors! I am very comfortable administering oral medications. Please note: I do not offer injectable medications. * Active Care: I love taking pups for walks to break up the day and ensure they get the exact level of affection and playtime they crave. For senior pups that cannot walk long distance, I have a pet stroller for pets 20lbs and below to ensure they don’t miss out on outdoor fun. I know how hard it is to leave your fur baby behind while traveling or working. My goal is to provide you with total peace of mind, knowing your pet is in a peaceful, loving, and safe environment where their unique personality is respected. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I work from home Tuesday - Friday, however I can be flexible with drop in visits. Saturday - Mondays I have open so long as I am in town. The sooner I know the better I can plan. I have a fenced in yard and live in a beautiful neighborhood to take your pup out for walks. For senior pups I have a dog stroller to ensure they don’t miss out on getting some fresh air. Pups have free rein in my office and living room to ensure they are comfy during all weather seasons. I can also create your pup if that is yours or your pups preference.
“Thanh-Mai took great care of my dog Max. She went above and beyond making sure that my dog is in good hands and safe. It is only 1 day but she did very great. She communicates from time to time give us updates and sending us pictures of how’s my dog doing and how he’s been feeling and what he’s been through. I would highly recommend Thanh-Mai with anyone and will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Eric was amazing with my golden retriever puppy. He sent daily updates on how she was doing and I could tell she was in very good hands. I would definitely board my dog with him again.”

“Victoria was awesome with my baby Thor, I was a bit nervous because Thor isn't fully trained yet amd isn't used to being around strangers but she was awesome. I definitely recommend her and will be using her again in the future. Thank you again.”

“This was the absolute BEST experience we have had! Remi and Cooper absolutely loved being with Lisa and her two pups. They were able to play, be taken care of, and enjoyed every second of their stay. We highly recommend Lisa!”

“Luka had an amazing time staying at Brinesha's house while we were gone! She is an amazing dog sitter who deeply cared about our fur baby and that we felt comfortable and happy while we were away. She was so kind and welcoming and her dogs played very well with ours and they had a blast. We will definitely have Brinesha take care of Luka anytime we go somewhere and highly recommend to anyone to do the same. We thank her so much for a wonderful trip because she took such good care of Luka!!”

“Vincent was great! Very communicative and sent me pics of my pups and updates throughout the week he was caring for them. He seems to really have a heart for animals and I know my dogs were in good hands with him. I will definitely utilize his services again!”
“Ashlee is truly the best! She’s watched my dog Alfie several times before, but this time I was gone for two full weeks—and I couldn’t have felt more at ease knowing he was in her care. She kept me updated constantly with photos and videos, which meant so much while I was away. Alfie absolutely loves her, and it’s clear she treats him like her own. I always know he’s in loving, capable hands when he’s with Ashlee. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Jocelyn was great with Arlo. He tends to be a little shy and quiet with new people but he made himself at home with her and her family right away. She checked with me before feeding him a treat to make sure it was ok that he had it and sent me cute pictures to show me he was doing good. As long as she’s available I will make sure to rebook her because I know he will be safe and loved. So happy we found her 😊🐾”

Krystle was amazing!! She cared for my two shelties as if they were family! I received daily communication and multiple pictures. Her home is safe and kept very comfortable for all her furry friends! I would highly recommend Krystle to anyone wanting excellent care for their pets!

She did an excellent job taking care of our dog while we were out of town. She was able to get her exercise even with restrictions and even went out and bought extra snacks to help with her taking medication at meals. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone who needs a caring dog sitter.

My dogs stayed with Ricky for the weekend. First time using her as a sitter. She is an awesome sitter. She made sure my dogs were comfortable with her dogs and took great care of them. She provided updates and pictures throughout their stay. Glad I found her. Will definitely rebook.

Corrina is such a nice and caring person! I booked a second stay for my dog within two months, and she has always been very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Abby always comes back happy, which gives me great peace of mind. I highly recommend Corrina and will definitely book with her again!

Leena is AMAZING! My pup doesn’t warm up to people quickly, and she was not only understanding of her needs, but it’s clear she’s very comfortable working with dogs who are more reserved. Harlow settled quickly into the space and had an amazing stay. 1000% will book again.

Lorena was so great with our fur babies.!! She took care of our two corgis while we were out of town. She kept us updated on how they were doing and also sent us pictures throughout the day. I highly recommend Lorena. Thank you for making us feel comfortable knowing our pups are in good care.

Hello. I have 2 chihuahuas a 14 yr old and a 2 yr old. Both very different but both unsocialized!!We were going away for the Christmas holiday. Already a stressfull time of year. I was extremely worried about leaving them with anyone! Plus I know they can be brats. But Sierra did a wonderful job with them. They were very calm and not stressed when we picked them up. Sierra sent me pictures of them, we spoke a few days a day. I would absolutely use her again. I highly recommend her. Thank you Sierra

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their San Joaquin River Estates home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your San Joaquin River Estates.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your San Joaquin River Estates sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
