“Derek watched my dog Ace for 3 days while I was away for the weekend. He was completely patient with him and tended to his every need. This was my first time leaving Ace with anyone so I was very nervous, but Derek updated me evey day and sent me pictures and videos. I would definitely use Derek again in the future. 10/10!!!!”

“Kara was wonderful with my pup Finn. She sent daily updates and videos. I was not aware she also did pet daycare but Finn loves other dogs so it was not an issue. He ran and played hard at Karas as he slept for hours once he got home. I will be booking again.”

About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone who will care for them like family. I have experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels—from playful puppies to sweet senior pups who just want a slower-paced walk and extra cuddles. All my family members and friends rely on me when they are needing their dog to be in safe hands. My goal is to make your pet feel at home and give you peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged family member! I currently work part-time, which means I'm home for most of the day and have plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve. Whether it's walks, playtime, potty breaks, or just relaxing together, your pup will have lots of love, companionship, and care throughout their stay. Your pet will be staying in a loving home with two friendly indoor dogs—one is a sweet senior, and the other is a playful four-year-old. They have free roam of the house and plenty of cozy beds for naps throughout the day. I also have a fully fenced backyard where your dog can safely explore and play. All potty breaks are supervised, and your pup will never feel alone—they'll always have me and my two dogs around for company, companionship, and lots of love.
“Wonderful sitter. My dogs love her and we trust her with our fur babies. She sends photos and takes them on walks and just treats them so great. I go to her whenever we need a sitter, for short stays and also for weeks or months at a time. I recommend her highly.”

About: Hi, I’m Megan and have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages from energetic puppies to sweet seniors. I understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family. My life has been shaped by the companionship of dogs, ranging from Chihuahuas to Dalmatians, and I treat every guest with the same deep respect and affection I give my own. I work from home, which means your dog will have constant companionship and supervision inside the house with me. I pride myself on being highly responsible and will strictly abide by any specific rules or medical considerations you have for your pet. I share my home with two calm, small breed Yorkies: Roxy, my 16 year old senior lady who loves to nap, and Dalton, my 8 year old boy who is a "chill" social butterfly. Dalton gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys a gentle play session. * The Environment: My home is a quiet, low stress "zen" space perfect for dogs who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. * The Yard: I have a large, fully enclosed backyard with a pool. For safety, I never allow dogs outside unsupervised. * Safety First: Because I work from home, your dog will spend their day indoors with me, ensuring they stay cool and comfortable. Services & Specialized Care * Senior Care: I have a soft spot for seniors! I am very comfortable administering oral medications. Please note: I do not offer injectable medications. * Active Care: I love taking pups for walks to break up the day and ensure they get the exact level of affection and playtime they crave. For senior pups that cannot walk long distance, I have a pet stroller for pets 20lbs and below to ensure they don’t miss out on outdoor fun. I know how hard it is to leave your fur baby behind while traveling or working. My goal is to provide you with total peace of mind, knowing your pet is in a peaceful, loving, and safe environment where their unique personality is respected. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I work from home Tuesday - Friday, however I can be flexible with drop in visits. Saturday - Mondays I have open so long as I am in town. The sooner I know the better I can plan. I have a fenced in yard and live in a beautiful neighborhood to take your pup out for walks. For senior pups I have a dog stroller to ensure they don’t miss out on getting some fresh air. Pups have free rein in my office and living room to ensure they are comfy during all weather seasons. I can also create your pup if that is yours or your pups preference.
“Jassleen was a very attentive and engaged sitter for our two pooches. She provided ongoing updates, photos, and videos. She even provided our dogs her homemade doggie treats. We will definitely call Jassleen next time we go out of town.”

“Thanh-Mai did a wonderful job with our three girls, which included a four month old puppy. Puppies are so much more work than older dogs and she handled our little Stella marvelously. We received updates every day about how they were doing with videos and photos. The dogs were so very comfortable with her and in her home. They adjusted easily and this was their first time there. She took excellent care of them and they had fun. Thank you, Thanh-Mai. We are so very grateful to you and James. The girls say thank you as well!!!”

“This was my first time boarding my golden retriever Simba here and he had a blast! They have a big yard with plenty of space to run around and there are other dogs for him to play with. He stayed there 6 nights and I knew he was being taken care of. I will continue to board my dog here on future vacations, thank you so much.”

“Jennifer and her kids were so sweet. They treated my pups like they were their own. I got photo updates from her daily which helped me not to miss them so much. I could see from the photos that they were happy, well cared for, and got lots of attention! I would 100% recommend Jennifer and her children to pup sit.”

“This was the absolute BEST experience we have had! Remi and Cooper absolutely loved being with Lisa and her two pups. They were able to play, be taken care of, and enjoyed every second of their stay. We highly recommend Lisa!”

“Rex had such a fun time with MJ during his first stay, I booked him again for a weekend stay while I headed out of town. MJ was great like last time, very professional and trustworthy. His yard gives Rex (and other dogs) a great opportunity to run around and stretch his legs or just lay in the shade of the large trees. MJ has been very reliable and I highly recommend for dog (large or small). Thanks MJ!”

“Vicente is a great host. My dogs had a great time and I was very happy with the pictures that Vicente sent to make sure I knew Wall-e and Anna were safe and well taken care of. I will definitely book with Vicente again!”

“Wonderful sitter, took many pics and videos of our boy and even brushed his thick crazy fur out for us. Had constant access to outside and walked him often. Responded quickly! He seemed very happy when he came home!”

“5/5 ⭐️ #BestRoverFurrySitter OV came home tired from all the water fun. ? 4th of July was the safe place here with Ricky. Great communication as well thank you for taking care of our baby and letting him experience your home. ?”

“Corina was exceptional taking care of our little dog. She kept us up to date with pics and small videos, that gave us the peace of mind to know our dog was well taken care off and enjoy our trip. She was very accommodating while dropping and picking up, she also asked about any alergies, diet restrictions and any other info she might need. At first, our dog was a bit aggressive, but later on she was roaming as if she owned the house, that will tell you that she was being pampered with lots of attention. We will definitely use Corina again when needed.”

“We loved Kim and her family! Excellent communication and overall amazing people! Flash was super happy and was very well taken care of! Highly recommend Kim and will definitely be boarding Flash again with her! Thank you Kim!!!!”

About: Ive always been an animal lover who has treated animals as their own. They have feelings, they’re no different than us and deserve all the love in the world I have a normal 7-4 work day. I’m usually always looking for walks after work and I’m home no later than 4:15pm. Playing with my own pets makes me so happy and that’s what I look forward to every day I care for them extremely well. I’m kind of an anal person so the cleanliness of it all has to be 10/10. I clean daily, multiple times a day and make sure their foods and waters are always fresh

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
95% of sitters in Gregg can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Gregg home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Gregg.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Gregg sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
