About: I've been caring for animals my entire adult life and after changing careers I decided to pursue something that makes me enjoy my work. I spent several years volunteering for a local shelter dealing with situations that included large and small breed dogs. Recently (the last 4 years) I've opened my home mostly to short term fosters that need a temporary place before finding forever families. About: Personable attention, plenty of exercise and play is the mantra. During my overnight stay, I provide 2 walks/day (30 min each) and 30 min of play. Potty as needed. Close bonding with Baggins, my Blue Healer, for 12 years has taught me a skill set of commen sense with dogs. I have 2 other dogs I care for part time with my husband. Baggins will be with myother dogs during my visits with yours. I go to the gym for an hour most every day. You must be ok with me leaving your Precious alone for 2 hours. I have obtained security clearance on the federal level with my former government positions. I am also part time Airbnb host for my yurt. I am available weekdays and weekends. Although your active dog will miss you, he or she will soon forget after our walks.

I love animals and have been around them my entire life. I have quite a few animals I take care of when their families go out of town and can provide references. I do work but can do overnights. “This was my first time ever needing a dog sitter who wasn't a family member or friend and having my current 6 month old timid velcro puppy means that I had to be extra wary of where I leave her. When Anya and I met Audra during the meet and greet we were able to chat for a while and I felt totally comfortable explaining my own concerns and Anyas needs of patience and time. Audra was able to address them all and the answers she gave made me feel she would be a great fit. Dropping off my puppy was hard but it was easier knowing that someone who seems to really love dogs and was capable of accomodating a more timid dog had her. I was able to get updates throughout her daycare stay and when I picked her up she seemed perfectly fine and elated to see me. Driving home she was plum tuckered out and napped but when she got back home Anya was back to her regularly scheduled trouble. I gave her a look over and saw no issues and behavioral wise Anya acts as if she had never been gone at all. Afterwards I asked Audra some questions about Anya and how she did to follow up with her dog training and received prompt responses that will help me make sure that this timid pup continues to thrive and grow in confidence. If I have to find someone to watch her again or need an overnight boarding I will definitely see if Audra is available first.”

“This is the first time we had to leave our girls with someone we didn't already know, but we're so glad it was Thanh-Mai! She (and Jimmy) were wonderful! She sent us pictures and videos and little updates, and asked just the right questions about the girls' quirks and when and how to administer medications. We don't live in the area, but if we're ever in need of someone in Fresno, we will definitely be asking Thanh-Mai first--you should, too!”
