“My dogs enjoyed their stay with Jaritza. They were well taken care of and happy with their stay. My dogs have high energy and she made sure that they get lots of play. Highly recommend and will book again when we need a sitter.”

“Sarah was great! Excellent communication from start to finish. She provided updates of our pup and made him feel comfortable during his boarding. Appreciate her preparedness to host, since we forgot to bring bowls for food and water. Our pup did not go hungry!”

“Jake took care of my dog, Flint, from 2/13/26–2/17/26, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. He sent daily pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was on vacation. When he noticed any concerns, he used the troubleshooting steps I had authorized beforehand and handled things independently, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, Jake did everything he could to make Flint feel like part of his family and helped him adjust and stay comfortable. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the pets he watches. I would absolutely trust Jake with Flint again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate sitter.”

“Heather C. Is a wonderful pet sitter. Our Golden Retriever, Prairie, loves her family and their dog, Khloe. Her family is my go to when we travel from the Zephyrhills, Florida area.”

“Daniel and the kids are the best. It was my dog first time staying with him. He came home happy and not stressed. I would most definitely leave my dog with Daniel again and recommend him to anyone that needs a dog sitter.”

“Christelle and Arley take great care of our pups when we are out of town. Anchor and Aspen love going there and race out of the car when we arrive. We feel so comfortable leaving our fur babies in their care when we are away. They stay on their schedules and have lots of fun playing. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful sitters! Very trustworthy, communicative, and caring. They provided regular updates and pictures, which made me feel so connected and reassured while I was away. My Lilo looked so happy in every photo😊.”

“This couple is • SWEET • beyond belief! Total salt of the earth, super friendly, kind and caring. They sent me multiple photos of my dog having fun at their home. Will definitely be going back to them; Landon came home with a huge smile on his face! Had a great time there! Jerry & Mary are AWESOME! 👏 ♥️”

“Tina and Bill are very kind and wonderful. They gave my anxious fur babies the space and respect they needed as they take time to warm up to new sitters. Tina and Bill were considerate of my instructions and took very good care of my babies. Tina was really good about keeping me updated and sent me pics which helps me feel comfortable while I'm away. Thanks Tina and Bill.”

About: Loving Home Away From Home for Your Furry Family Member 🐾 New to Rover but eons of experience otherwise I've been raising and caring for dogs since I was 13 years old and have personally raised six dogs over the years. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly enjoy spending time with them, getting to know their unique personalities, and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. Your pup will have plenty of room to play in our large home and spacious fenced yard. Whether they love running around, playing fetch, going for walks, or simply relaxing and getting cuddles, they'll receive lots of attention and affection during their stay. My high school-aged son, who has been around and helping care for large dogs since he was 7 years old, is also a big animal lover and assists under my supervision. Together, we provide a caring, attentive environment where your dog will be treated like part of the family. Whether you're away for a day, a weekend, or an extended trip, you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands. We understand how important your pet is, and we'll make sure they're loved, exercised, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. We can't wait to meet your fur baby! I’m home most weekdays and weekends, so your furbaby will never be left alone for long. I have a friendly 2-year-old Malinois mix who loves company and can be a great companion for your pet during their stay. 🐾 Can play safely and enjoy plenty of outdoor time. Don’t worry—I’m very mindful of the weather and won’t let them stay outside when it’s too hot. If your dog is crate-trained or you prefer crate time, I’m happy to accommodate that as well. The choice is completely yours!
“Scott and Renee were wonderful! Not only were they prompt in communications, they sent regular pictures of happy puppies! My girls look forward to staying with them again soon- they didn’t want to leave. :)”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of Bailey! You treated her just like your own and that was comforting to know while we were away. You were so accommodating when we got stuck on our trip an extra night we are so appreciative of that! We will absolutely book with Paige next time we go away!”

“Maria is the best! This is the second time we use her services and we are so pleased. We left our 2 girls with her for almost a week this time and they had a great time! They love Maria and her family and so do we. She is sweet and dependable with two pups of her own. My girls were happy, healthy and well taken care of and that is evident in the multiple daily photos and updates she sends, which in turn makes us feel at ease and able to enjoy our vacation without worrying. She has a beautiful yard and plays with them often. We will be definitely using her services from now on.”

“Frankie gives Dzeni and Kathy all the stars, all the tail wags, and possibly a few bonus zoomies. He had the best time with them and came home happy, loved, and clearly convinced he had been on his own little vacation. They were wonderful with him — kind, attentive, reliable, and clearly dog people in the best possible way. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in their care, and Frankie would absolutely pack his tiny imaginary suitcase to go back again. Highly recommend! Frankie says 10/10, would visit again, especially if treats and attention are involved.”

“Rawle was great with GingerBread. He took good care of her and we would definitely use him again. He sent photos and gave updates regularly to put our mind at ease so we could enjoy our vacation. If you are looking for a good sitter while you are away, Rawle is your man!”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Nastassia caring for our dog, Frankie! We felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care! She was incredibly communicative throughout his stay and kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious Frankie was happy, comfortable, and so well cared for. Nastassia truly treated him like he was her own, and that meant so much to us. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe and loved. We are so grateful for how attentive and kind she was with Frankie and would absolutely trust her with him again in the future. Highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - San Antonio
Overall good experience. We told her to crate the dogs and leave them enclosed at night with the provided crate and she left them out to wander and they broke something. I offered to pay for it but she said it was ok. When we picked them up we didn’t get our doggie diapers or treats back. Didn’t notice til I was home. That was about $15-18 bucks of stuff which seems small but it would’ve been nice to have for next time. Overall was alright.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
