About: Hi, I'm Jill! I'm a stay-at-home mom, Marine veteran, and lifelong dog lover. Dogs have been a part of my world for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is second nature to me. I am also a certified dog groomer, so I understand what it takes to keep pups looking and feeling their best. When your dog stays with me, they will be treated like one of my dachshunds who are friendly, playful, and used to having company. My goal is for every dog to feel like they are spending time with family- safe, happy, and loved. I am home most of the day and have a flexible schedule for drop-offs, pick-ups, or day care. Since I am around often, your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision. I have a nice-sized fenced yard that is perfect for running around and playing fetch. There is a dog door for easy access to the yar throughout the day, so pups can stretch their legs whenever they like. Inside, dogs are part of the family- they can nap on comfy beds, lounge with me, and sleep in bed unless you prefer otherwise. My home is calm, cozy, and full of love.

I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and am eager to play, care and walk your dog. I’m available to feed, walk and play with your dog. I’m happy to go to your home but also have a fenced in yard where your dog can run and play with me.

After losing our beloved boy earlier this year, we’ve found ourselves missing the daily joy, snuggles, and companionship that come with having a pet. Think of us as your pet’s extra set of grandparents: all the love, cuddles, and spoiling, with a calm, caring presence you can trust. I’m currently working but am winding down a 30+ year career as an educator. I’m available weekends and over the summer right now. My husband is semi-retired and is available Tuesdays and Thursdays all day. One or both of us are also available after 3 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We have a fenced yard and sadly no pets for your baby to play with. We have no children in the house either so your dog will be the only guest and will receive our undivided attention. We will only sit for 1 family at a time to ensure you the highest quality care.

Plenty of time to care for your pet on our agreed days and times. I walk dogs on a leash out and about around the neighborhood and I have the space indoors to play with them. Out of safety, No dogs are allowed on my furniture as this causes leadership issues but they are VERY welcome to sleep on their beds in my room, or anywhere in the house (or crate if you prefer) where I can keep them supervised and have them fwel safe and happy. They will always hang out with myself and family to keep each other company 💖
