About: I grew up on a farm and have experience with Horses, Goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits and of course cats and dogs. I also have recently been fostering a red footed tortoise and have been learning all about reptiles in the process. I am detailed oriented and know how important it is to stick to your pet's specific diet and schedule. My schedule is extremely flexible with most of my work being done from home. I won't be leaving your pet alone for hours. Your buddy is my buddy. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog (Jackalope) at home who's always happy to have a playmate or another dog to keep him company while surveying the neighborhood. I can make special accommodations for fence jumpers and escape artist as long as I know your pets' habits and what to expect. If you're looking for pet care in your home rest assured unless invited my dog will hang at home with his dad.

“Michael (Captain) was so helpful, communicative, and kind with Jonas, His dog Cheyenne came with and easily adjusted to sharing space with Jonas and my guy enjoyed having a playmate with she and Captain. I felt completely at ease being away. He was also flexible with helping me accommodate some winter weather flying in and out of Denver. He treated my home as his own and took excellent care. About: Although I'm new to "professional" house and pet-sitting, I have been doing so for neighbors and friends sand have cared for pets of my own since I was 10. After 30+ years as either an employee or a business owner, I'm currently working on building a photo art business and picking up p/t work when I can. Pretty flexible. I will reliably and carefully care for your home and pets. I have experience with dogs, cats, caged birds, chickens, pigs, and goats. Love horses, but no care experience. Have references. About: I've grown up watching my friends & family's dogs as I was someone they trusted to watch & love their dog while they were away. I am looking for that experience and to bring dogs back into my life by house sitting or dogs staying with me if they don’t another dog in the house. I have a friendly 9 year old 50 lb fluffy golden doodle. I’m very close to parks and the river to take long walks around. I normally walk in the neighborhood with my dog, or take him for a hike & let him cool off in the river & go for a swim. I work from home so I can keep them company all day if staying with me or I am free to come over to your place to check in on them and take them for a walk. I am very comfortable being active with the dogs I look after or adapting to their personal preference in what they like to do or don't do. I make sure they're safe & happy at all times. I make sure to send lots of photos of your pup while you're away if that is your preference. Let me know if you have any other questions! I currently work from home & have time throughout the day to take your dog out through the week, or they can sit & hang with me at home! Free Monday-Friday & weekends are subject to availability. Just message me to see if I'm available on the weekend. I have a fenced back yard with a dog door where they can walk in and out whenever. I have a 9year old goldendoodle that can also keep them company. I typically take my dog on a walk in the morning, afternoon, & evening. Sometimes with a run or hike in the mix but will do what your dog likes best!
