About: I love all animals and will definitely love yours! My love for cats has brought me all over the world. I've volunteered at cat sanctuaries in Greece, Spain, and Costa Rica. I get a lot of joy from being around animals and it is in my nature to love them. I grew up with cats and dogs, and have fostered over 30 cats in the last few years. I’ve also cared for 2 dogs long term recently. I’m very active and love walking dogs, both on the street and on trails, and have the ability to care for pups both in my home or their home. I don't currently have any pets of my own, I do foster kittens sometimes. I work part time and can take breaks flexibly. I can do pet care in the morning, in the daytime, or in the evening. I can care for pets in their home or in mine. I have a fenced yard, an indoor catio cage, no other pets (except occasional foster cats), a calm household with just 2 chill adults, and my partner works from home and is usually home in the day.
About: I had two cats growing up (Oreo and Missy), but always watched my friends dogs while they were away. I love animals and have volunteered on farms, equine therapy facilities, at the Human Society of Tampa Bay and have done some client work with SPCA Tampa Bay with my full-time job as a remote Brand Manager for a small advertising agency based in Tampa, FL. I work remote and have loads of flexibility during the day as well as at night, so my schedule can adapt to your pets schedule as needed. I aim to stick to the routine that you've established to avoid stress on your pets while they are in my care. Love, love and more love. I shower your pets with love just like I would my own. Someone once told me if you love a cat they will live forever. Mine lived until she was 22, so not forever, but pretty dang close. I'll also lean on the routine you've established and any instructions that you've provided to ensure your pet is being loved just like you would.
“I was in a tight schedule and one sitter had moved long ago from Colorado and with another I got a false acceptance, paid, and then received an unavailable notice and a third just never responded. Krystal came to the rescue and she visited and took care of Zion for two days while I was down in Denver at meetings. Great personality, responsible and sent me regular updates.”
About: I have had and trained dogs since I was a child. Neighbors, friends and families have relied on me to care for their pets when they were unable to. I have experience with large and small breads as well as cats. My past cat had cerebellar hypoplasia so I also have experience with disabled pets. I am currently working Mon.-Thurs so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets! I don't currently have any pets of my own but they bring me so much joy! I will take exceptional care of your pets and treat them like they are my own. I am currently working Mon.-Thurs so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets! “Jamie was the perfect dog sitter for my 6 month old pup! So sweet, best sitter in Mammoth, and will be using again! My boyfriend and I wanted our pup to enjoy the outdoors while he and I went golfing, and Jamie was better than perfect. She picked my pup up and went on TWO hikes with him! Casandra took great care of my pups while I was out of town on a last minute trip. She sent great feedback on how the dogs were doing and lots of pics on their visits! I will definitely use her services again and recommend her to anyone who needs an amazing pet sitter!

Kristen is the best! She leaves detailed Rover cards with walk summaries and the best photos of our pups! She spends time giving pets/love gaining the trust of our special needs dog. I am so appreciate of her, knowing our pups are getting sniff filled walks and love while we are away. If you need someone to walk and love your pups, Kristen is your gal!

Goose and I immediately loved Miranda! She was easy to communicate with, clearly has so much love and a passion for dogs and is just a gem of a person! We would recommend her to anyone looking for a safe and happy place for their dog or for just a great walk. Goose came home happy and satisfied with his exercise needs. Thanks Miranda!

Kymberly took my pup out for the first time, and he had a blast! She sent me updates upon arrival, during the walk, and when she dropped him back at home. It was a last minute booking, and we didn't have time for a meet n greet, but her updates were very assuring while I was away for the day. When I need help again, I will certainly check Kymberly's availability first!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
