Kirk S.

“Met Kirk today for the first time. He was recommended by a friend. He was so great and in tune with Juno. I’m excited to have someone who I can trust to meet his needs.”

Kelsey K.
“Kelsey is the mother of dogs. She knows, takes care of, and loves all of our friends' dogs. She is always thinking of my dog Juno even when I'm not. She thinks ahead of who I am going to have watch him or walk him when I am traveling or have long days out of town for work or at the office. She does not believe in leaving dogs for long periods of time without walking, and she prioritizes getting them outside on long walks or playtime. She offers to take Juno to the park or to hang out with him without me even asking. She always keeps her eye on him and is very good with recall and overall training. She remembers to praise him for listening even when I don't. She offers all dogs she encounters lots of love and attention. She loves her own dog, Gila, more than I've seen most people love their dogs. She treats her like a person. I can't recommend Kelsey enough. There is no one who will care about your dog more than her, except maybe you.”

About: I've been dog sitting for friends for years, and watch my own pup full time of course. I've taken several dog training classes and done significant research so I am a well-equipped, responsible dog mom. I've been through raising dogs from puppy stage to senior care, so I am confident I can handle all ages and needs. I have many references I can share (I just made this profile so that is why there isn't much to see yet on my account!). I work full-time in Salida, so I am gone for most of the workday. However, I take breaks to go check on my dog and let him out/ take him for walks during the day so your pup would be checked on regularly. After work and on the weekends, we like to go for adventures or at least on a special walk. I am comfortable with dogs on or off-leash for walks, if the dog is voice command trained of course. However long they need is fine with me, my own dog needs a lot of exercise but if yours don't, we will adjust! In my home, it is me and my boyfriend, no kids. We do have one dog who is almost 2 years old and about 70 pounds of happy energy. If your dog does not like other dogs, we will not be a good fit. The dogs will stay separately when I am not home with them just for 100% safety for them both. My dog is crate trained and happy to be there. I will ask for very clear instructions on all details of your pup to ensure they get exactly what they need! I am happy to send photos and videos, I know I always like to get them.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, always have had one in the family home. They love me, I think it’s the hair. Skilled at embracing the good boy/girl. I currently am waiting to start work at monarch mountain this season, so I’m available all of November and will be available all day in the earlier weekdays once the season starts, and later at night on other days. My pup lived in my school bus with me, but she is a thin haired pitlab and cannot handle the cold, she is in Illinois right now with an old coworker. While I do have her, she gets total bed and couch coverage and she did not require a leash so she had the entire front yard and backyard of where I was staying. We would go on hikes, car rides, and she would even come to work with me everyday. While caring for your pet, I would love to take them for a walk, have a play in the yard, or maybe relax with some scratches. Whatever your pups needs are, I’m here to meet!

Susie C.

About: I have been a petsitter for almost 20 yrs and will care for your furbabies as if they were my own. I have great references. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of petsitting availability. I can also walk your dogs and am happy to take care of senior pets. I do in-home visits up to 3 times a day. I don't do overnights currently. I am a former vet tech and am comfortable administering medications

Kaia S.
“I've known Kaia for three and a half years now and she has cared for my two golden retrievers many, many times. Kaia is so good with them. They are typically pretty rambunctious when they initially see her and she patiently gives them attention and gets them calmed down. She's sweet and gentle with them but also keeps them in line and reminds them of their manners when they start forgetting them. She's cared for them on both short term and longer term (up to a week) basis and it's always been great. I trust her explicitly and highly recommend her!”

About: I have had and trained dogs since I was a child. Neighbors, friends and families have relied on me to care for their pets when they were unable to. I have experience with large and small breads as well as cats. My past cat had cerebellar hypoplasia so I also have experience with disabled pets. I am currently working Mon.-Thurs so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets! I don't currently have any pets of my own but they bring me so much joy! I will take exceptional care of your pets and treat them like they are my own. I am currently working Mon.-Thurs so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets! I am off around 4pm but my schedule is pretty flexible if your doggo needs to go out at lunch. I am usually around Salida on the weekends. I have an unfenced yard but can take your dog out on a leash and I love going on walks around town! I will take extra care of your pets as well as your home while you're away.

Rebecca H.
“My dog LOVES hanging out with Becca! Becca loves taking dogs out for walks and makes any walk around the neighborhood fun! She takes my dog to the Gunbarrel Dog Park, Coot Lake, Twin Lakes, Avery Brewing and even shopping trips to Pet Smart!”

Emma C.
About: I can care for any size pet! I personally have 2 cats and 4 dogs. I always find the time to care for furry friends! I currently am enrolled in online college classes, which doesn’t take up much of my time so I’ll have plenty time to car for your pet! I have a fenced in back yard and has plenty of room to play! I have 2 small long haired dachshunds and a standard poodle and a golden retriever! They are always up to play with new friends! I am able to care for your pet in your house as well. I find that keeping animals in their own home won’t stress them out as much and keep them comfy!

Emily P.
“Emily has been watching my pup Lucy for over 2 years now. Lucy adores Emily and her sweet pup Indy. She has taken Lucy hiking, camping and around town with her. Emily is a sweet, generous and has a very kind heart. She loves animals and is one of the few people I trust with my dog.”

Julie M.

“Julie was great with my shy dog. Lucy warmed up to her quickly, which is not usually the case! Julie was reliable and flexible regarding my work schedule changes. I would definitely recommend and use her again in the future!”

Ashley L.
“Ashley is AWESOME! She has taken care of our home and 4 fur babies many times - 2 Aussies and 2 cats. She is trustworthy and the babies LOVE her. The mini Aussie is quite finicky with his schedule and she does such a good job of giving them all what they need: feedings, exercise, litter cleaning and even makes sure our home is nice and clean when we return from vacation. If you're looking for a phenomenal pet caretaker, look no further... you found the one!”

Julia M.

“Julia is the best, I cannot say enough good things about her! She’s super communicative and my fur baby absolutely adored her - they had the best time together and my dog came back so tired and happy! Julia has such a sweet, friendly energy and made it so easy to get my dog excellent care and attention. 10/10 recommend to everyone in the area!”

Shealee C.
“Shealee watched our dog for a long weekend and took such great care of her! She was an excellent communicator and left our home nice and clean. Our pup requires some extra care with pills and eye drops and Shealee handled that no problem! We came home to a very happy pup and would happily have Shealee back to take care of our dog in the future!”

Emmy D.
“Emmy is an excellent dog sitter who has cared for our pup in our home on multiple occasions. She loves dogs and ours is always happy when we get home! She is also very respectful in our home when she stays and leaves it clean. I would recommend Emmy for dog sitting at her home or yours!”

Shawna D.
“Shawna has taken care of our energetic dogs from a day of daycare to 7 days of boarding, and she always makes us feel like Arrow and Harper are loved, exercised, and spoiled while we are away. We really like that their yard has a tall secure fence, and that she sends us photos and texts on a regular basis. We are so happy that we have someone so reliable, responsible, and caring in our area. I highly recommend Shawna.”
