“Brooke went above and beyond in every respect from the moment we contacted her. Her communication was excellent, she came out for a house visit to meet the dogs to ease our concerns of having someone stay at our home and watch our young dogs (this was the first time we were leaving them with someone). She listened to every single instruction with incredible attention to detail, she communicated with us with pictures regularly to ease our anxiety while we were gone, she clearly cared for our dogs, gave them tons of love and attention, and her experience with animals and background in dog training was evident. She had the perfect blend of firm boundary setting with our rowdy boys while being loving with only positive reinforcement. We came home to a spotless house, she washed dog dishes she didn’t have to wash, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. We can’t recommend her enough and it’s a relief to find someone so trustworthy to watch our dogs again when we leave town.”

About: I’ve taken care of sweet dogs, fearful dogs, young dogs, old dogs, sick dogs, high energy and couch potato dogs. All dogs like me and I like them. We snuggle on the couch, play and take naps. I don’t take large dogs anymore unless they are seniors. I’m retired and I live a quiet life. I love all animals and enjoy their company. Pet sitting is not a chore for me - it’s a joy. I’m home most of the day so your pet won’t be lonely. Your dogs are royalty at my house. Don’t expect discipline. They play, nap, get snacks (according to what you bring) watch TV, go on leash for potty breaks. If they need a schedule for meals or meds- no problem. What they get from me is ATTENTION.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have only met a couple that was not interested in being my friend. Total dog dad with 3 seniors in the home, all are super friendly. They enjoy walks on the beach every day and are very comfortable around other dogs and people. Our neighborhood is very pet friendly and there is a park just a block away. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. My pups get plenty of attention each day and enjoy playing with new friends. Your pup will be right at home in our house. It’s very relaxed and calm. We can also do drop in visits to your home, go to the beach, or to one of several parks on the island. I know how it feels to have to leave my furries behind, so with that in mind , I’ll do my best to keep them distracted while their humans are away.

“Mallory and her husband did a wonderful job with our two boys! From the first time meeting her, she was very professional and comfortable with larger dogs. It was a super hot weekend and they were considerate to the dogs, only walking them in the cooler parts of the day. They also watered our garden and let Mowgli have a little fun in the hose :) I definitely recommend them both and will be using them again in the future.”

About: I’ve been a dog lover for all of my life and have always had a dog near my side. My Great Dane was my best friend until she passed away at 9 last year. I love helping trains dogs and have a great record for training and obedience. I understand how important it is to find someone reliable and understanding to take care of a best friend. I go to school in the mornings and I’m usually available in the afternoons and the weekends with a little notice. My schedule can be very flexible as needed. I have a fenced in backyard. I have three dogs, ages 8,12,12. My three dogs are range from 10 pounds to 100 pounds so I am familiar with taking care of dogs both old and young and small and large. I will follow any specific rules or needs for any client.

About: I have taken care of my own dog since he was a puppy. I potty trained and crate trained him and was his primary care taker before I moved to college. I have very open availability during the day and available at nights for overnight or late night sitting. I love dogs, being outside, and being a care taker. I do have another job where I work Monday-Thursday 4-9. Although I am completely free during the weekends and during the day. I take care of my dog everyday by walking, feeding, and playing. I treat all pets with kindness and respect. I want them to trust me to take care of them as well as have fun and be safe.
