About: With over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and breeds, I bring a lifetime of dedication, reliability, and deep animal understanding to every visit. What sets me apart is not just my longevity in the field, but the personalized attention and calm, confident care I provide. From energetic puppies needing structure and training, to senior pets requiring patience, medication, and gentle handling—I’ve done it all. I specialize in reading animal behavior, easing anxiety in shy or rescue pets, and creating a safe, loving environment while you’re away. Your pet’s routine, health, and happiness are always my top priority. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, special needs care, or just keeping your pets company, you can count on me to treat them like family—because to me, they are. Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily and weekly routine. I structure my schedule around feeding times, medication needs, play sessions, and quiet companionship, ensuring each pet receives the attention and consistency they thrive on. Whether it’s early morning visits, midday check-ins, or evening routines, I prioritize each pet’s comfort and well-being as if they were my own. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s woven into my lifestyle, bringing joy, purpose, and a calming rhythm to each day. I have a large fenced in backyard that has ample room to run and play. I also have a Great Dane who loves all animals. In my clients’ homes, I provide personalized, stress-free care that keeps pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely—whether that includes feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or cuddle sessions—ensuring they feel secure and cared for in your absence. I keep things tidy, stick to household rules, and maintain open communication with daily updates and photos. My goal is to create a calm, consistent presence that pets trust and look forward to, so you can travel or work worry-free knowing they’re in capable, loving hands.

“Aubrey was the most understanding, flexible, and patient dog sitter! We loved that she kept our dog inside with her and her dogs, instead of an outdoor building. She treated him like he was one of hers, and that means a lot!”

“We boarded our pup Izzy with Angie and her family while were went on a vacation for 11 days. I received pictures and updates throughout the time Izzy stayed with them. She was well cared for and loved everyday. Knowing that our little girl was being taken so well care gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our time away. I would recommend Angie if you are in need of someone to board your pup.”

“Kayla watched our new puppy (10 weeks old) for us while on vacation out of the country for a week. Upon meeting her and Taylor, We knew from the first minute that she was an animal lover. Our Mastiff Lab - Milo immediately took to her. She has her own two dogs that were extremely healthy and lovable and that told us a lot. Her fiance Taylor also has a great love for animals. Kayla taught Milo how to go up and down the stairs and even worked with him on car rides. She took several photos and updated us all week. In the photos you could tell he was happy and playing with her two dogs Benji and Copper. She was very flexible on when we dropped him off and picked him up. So sweet and we will use her again. I do have a pet door where the pups can go out to a small fenced yard if they are used to this also. I have a small fenced yard but also a large unfenced yard to run. We are approximately 1/4 mile off the road so no worries with traffic. I am always outside with my animals if they are outside the fenced area as sometimes we like to run and play more. I can keep anyone seperate if needed and crated if needed also.

“I needed someone to watch my Doggies while I was at a Chiefs’ game and Ismaray came through. I have to be careful who I leave my dogs with because they both come from challenging backgrounds and they don’t react well to everyone. I’m always nervous when I leave them with someone on vacation, but I take them with me on a lot of my trips. Not everything I do is dog friendly so that’s when Rover comes in handy. Both of my Pups liked Ismaray from the start, I was surprised to see them so relaxed and comfortable with her. They were both on her lap soon after I dropped them off and she sent me lots of pictures to ease my mind and enjoy The Chiefs’ game. She definitely has a way with Doggies and will be my Dog Sitter any time I’m in St Joseph/Kansas City.”
