“We have two German Shepherds that went to stay. They loved Stephanie! She treated them like family. She has a big fenced back yard and plays with them. She sent pictures and updates during their stay. Stephanie is great!”

“Lindsay And Christian were just great with Khaleesi! I was so nervous, leaving her because she’s never been boarded before, but once I met Lindsay and spoke with her, I felt confident that she was in good hands. It is so nice to know that I have somewhere that I can take her if we have to be out of town.”

“Excellent! We highly recommend Tori she was reliable, she sent great photos and updates, also gave us a few polaroids and our dog was happy and relaxed when we got home. We will definitely book her again.”

“Jessica was fantastic to work with. She was able to help us out last minute which we really appreciated. She was quick to respond and updated us on how our baby was doing during her stay. She even offered alternative food when our dog wasn’t eating. We’ll definitely be using her again!”

“She took wonderful care of our dog. Peachy was a little anxious and she handled it very well. Very responsive anytime I asked for an update and sent pictures of peachy after she got settled in. Will definitely book again if I need these services again.”

About: Dogs have been part of my family for most of my life. I enjoy finding out what their personality is like as well as what their preferences for play/affection are. I recently retired from my job so I have very flexible schedule now. i will have time available to help people out with pet care. When caring for others pets, I ensure all of their needs are taken care of. My yard is not fenced in, so if they are staying with me I will take dogs out in my yard on their leash. I am a runner so I can run with them if they enjoy that type of activity. There is plenty of room where I live for running and walking!

“If I were a dog, I would think i won the lottery if I got to visit this paradise and meet Marilyn!! My Rusty was absolutely joyous while he was there. Which is unusual as he typically goes into a deep depression when I leave him.”

“Abbie took great care of the dogs. She was accommodating and easy to work with arranging drop off and pick up. I would trust her with your furry family members. They will come home happy and you will feel the same knowing they were well cared for during your trip.”

“My puppy ended up giving her some troubles by going potty in her house. I offered to give her extra for the trouble as I didn’t expect him to do that. When I went to pick him up she said she would love to watch him again and they had fun with him. I will definitely be asking her again to watch my puppy when needed!”

About: I grew up with a dog for about 10 years. We rescued her and raised her as a puppy. I have some family who have three dogs, and we help take care of them sometimes, so I know a good amount about dogs, how to walk them, etc. I have some time occasionally when after work either in the mornings or evenings and sometimes look for something to do so I figured I could fit this into my schedule and help some people out while making some money in the process. I help take them for walks, I pet them to make them happy and comfortable, I feed them and give them some water, I take them outside whenever they need to go to the bathroom, I even play with them whenever I can

“Such an amazing experience!!! This was the first time leaving our dog with a sitter since we adopted her. She is pretty skittish and I was extremely worried dropping her off. She warmed up to Debin quickly which eased my anxiety! Debin sent updates and pictures throughout the duration of the stay. Thank you so much! I’m so happy I have someone I can trust with taking great care of my dog! ☺️”

About: I've been around and owned large dogs throughout my life, as well as other small and exotic pets. All guests will meet Gracie, our very friendly service-dog-in-training, who loves to make new friends! Every dog I've owned, I've done at least basic household obedience training with. I'm self-employed, work from home, and have a very flexible schedule. Please check the calendar for blocked dates. Gracie and I typically start our day at 8:00AM, but we can receive visitors as early as 7:00. We start the day with breakfast and yard time before the heat comes in. When it starts to cool off in the evening, Gracie and I walk a 3-mile loop from the house to a nearby wooded trail and back. We have plenty of super chewer toys and treats for larger dogs, and a large fenced in back yard with room to run! Depending on weather, the dogs would spend most of the time in the house during the day. All time in the back yard is supervised. Housebroken dogs are allowed on couches and to roam the house. We also have kennels upstairs and downstairs, if needed.

Atchison dog parents share their Rover experiences
Stephanie did an amazing job watching my dogs, Athena and Rocky! From the moment I dropped them off, I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in great hands. She kept me updated, made sure they were well cared for, and treated them like they were her own. Athena and Rocky came home happy, relaxed, and clearly loved during their stay. It’s such a relief to find someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring with animals. I would absolutely recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter or boarding service, and I will definitely be booking with her again in the future! Thank you, Stephanie, for taking such wonderful care of my pups!
