Cat Sitting in Saint Johns

“My partner and I are first time Rover users and I am so thankful to have had Megan drop in for our two cats for six days. Long story short, Megan is good at what she does and made our vacation worry-free knowing our kitties were under her attentive care. Our older cat recently had some medical difficulties and she was very knowledgeable about medication administration with our older cat and kept him calm, safe, and well medicated during our vacation. Our younger cat had some behavioral issues and she was communicative and very professional in dealing with negative cat behavior previously unknown to us. She took good care of our little stinker and was great at problem solving. PS: she took some excellent model shots of our cats and that was always a joy to see. 🥰 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, since I grew up on a farm! I have experience taking care of not only dogs and cats, but also cows, pigs, chickens, horses, and rabbits! Currently, I have 1 Australian Shepherd, which I have trained since she was a puppy, 2 cats, and a horse! I would love to take care of any animals you have! I’m currently working Tuesday-Friday, but my boyfriend works from home, so all animals will be taken care of at almost all times during the day! At night we are both usually home, and like to be outside with our dog, who loves to explore our property! I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard, but do have 4 acres, and a very friendly Aussie who would love to play with dogs of any size! We are able to go on walks, parks, the river, ect, if that be at my house or yours! I also have 2 young male orange cats who love playing with other cats and dogs!

About: For years I dogsat for my aunt's tennis-ball-loving Labrador retriever and affectionate flat-coated retriever, my friend's dutiful old English sheepdog and mischievous Polish lowland sheepdog, and my friend-of-a-friend's terrier. Now I've moved to an area where I know much fewer people, so I'm getting on Rover to expand my reach and start spending time with dogs again. On most days I have lots of excess energy, and I find it hard to say no when a dog wants to play, so you can expect your dog to have some entertainment when I watch him. (If for whatever reason your dog is restricted from exercise I can handle that too, though I always find it sad to see.) I also enjoy giving rubs, and people are always impressed at how much face-licking I can stand. I've had to deal with my share of unusual incidents during dogwalking (including once having to lift a strange dog up by the scruff of his neck because he was attacking the dogs I was walking), so I feel ready for just about everything in that regard. I am presently working a full-time temporary job that is expected to end in early August 2025. During this time I will only be available for pet care from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on weekdays, while on weekends I am typically available all day. I like to spend frequent outdoors time while dogsitting, both walks and yard play. I am comfortable with sleeping in the same bed as your dogs if this is desired.

About: I have had a dog companion and have been a dog lover since I was 5 years old. In the busy hustle and bustle of today's high-paced society, I know the stress one can feel from the guilt of a busy schedule. I am passionate about giving dog moms and dads a little peace of mind knowing that they have someone to check in on their furry children, take them on walks, or stay with them overnight when needed. I have 15+ years experience as a dog companion, walker, sitter, and trainer. I have been a companion of and have worked with dogs ranging in size from tea cup to large breed. I've been the go to sitter/walker/check-in for all of my friends and family for years. I am a lover of all animals, I volunteer with local animal shelters, and used to spend countless hours chasing squirrels with my beloved dog (RIP Willow) at the local park (disclaimer: no squirrels were harmed in the writing of this bio). My schedule is flexible and allows for throughout-the-day care for furry children of all shapes and sizes. I am available to check-in and spend 30 minutes or more with your furry friend providing services such as a belly rubs, walks, brush-downs, games of catch, administering oral medication, bathroom breaks, etc. I am open to providing other services, on a case-by-case basis. I am also available for overnight stays at your home with your furry children. For overnights, I will provide a walk in the evening and in the morning, will give your woofie a brush-down, provide meals per their dietary schedule and food type, and will tuck them in with a bedtime story. I am open to snuggling and sharing a bed with your woofie if that is their normal routine (I know my own furry child loved to snuggle at night). If there are any particular parts of your pet's routine you would like followed or any additional services you would like to request, please let me know. I am passionate about the care and happiness of pets. To me, pets are family; they have their own unique personalities and they love us unconditionally. I am attentive, caring, experienced, and professional. Let's chat about how I can make your furry friend's day awesome! I work remotely, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pet(s) and am able to work from anywhere as long as I have access to reliable wifi. I am able to work from anywhere, which allows me to pick up on your pets routine where you leave off while you’re away or at work. About: I've owned and loved three Cocker Spaniel dogs through out my twenty years of my life . I find being with dogs comforting, fun, and enjoyable. I've been told in my jobs that I am reliable, caring,and a hard working, individual. My pet experiences have ranged from caring daily for a puppies, daily dog walking, and staying at a variety of houses to dog sit for extended periods of time. In these experiences I have watched toy sized dogs up through large sized breeds, and I have had many repeated customers. About: Part-time working mother of two looking to help my community care for their pet family members. I have always had a love for animals and had pets my whole life until a few years ago. Our beloved chocolate lab passed away and we have decided to wait until our children are older before we welcome another fur child. I understand the importance of respecting others homes and treating your pet as one of my “children”. I am responsible, punctual and looking forward to getting to know your pet! I am currently working from home three days a week which allows me to be available most days, nights, or weekends for drop ins, house sitting and walks. About: I manage a house of five high energy sport dogs, who have varying degrees of difficulty and personalities and arousal levels that need to be managed. I am proficient at caring for puppies, seniors, high energy dogs, dogs who have to be managed around other dogs, and other special needs dogs or situations. About: I’ve never met an animal I don’t like or doesn’t like me. I’m very particular myself about who I let watch my babies so I’ll do the same for you. Not available during the week but am available most weekends (and Friday nights) to come by and check on your babies! I’ll send a bunch of photos. I have a 5 year old black lab and a 15 week old golden retriever puppy. Both of which I love and have tried to train (they’re working on it!) and also have two male cats that were litter mates. I just treat all animals like I would my own.
