About: For years I dogsat for my aunt's tennis-ball-loving Labrador retriever and affectionate flat-coated retriever, my friend's dutiful old English sheepdog and mischievous Polish lowland sheepdog, and my friend-of-a-friend's terrier. Now I've moved to an area where I know much fewer people, so I'm getting on Rover to expand my reach and start spending time with dogs again. On most days I have lots of excess energy, and I find it hard to say no when a dog wants to play, so you can expect your dog to have some entertainment when I watch him. (If for whatever reason your dog is restricted from exercise I can handle that too, though I always find it sad to see.) I also enjoy giving rubs, and people are always impressed at how much face-licking I can stand. I've had to deal with my share of unusual incidents during dogwalking (including once having to lift a strange dog up by the scruff of his neck because he was attacking the dogs I was walking), so I feel ready for just about everything in that regard. I am presently unemployed, so though I am searching for regular work, for the time being I am typically available all day. I will update this space when that changes. I like to spend frequent outdoors time while dogsitting, both walks and yard play. I am comfortable with sleeping in the same bed as your dogs if this is desired.

“My partner and I are first time Rover users and I am so thankful to have had Megan drop in for our two cats for six days. Long story short, Megan is good at what she does and made our vacation worry-free knowing our kitties were under her attentive care. Our older cat recently had some medical difficulties and she was very knowledgeable about medication administration with our older cat and kept him calm, safe, and well medicated during our vacation. Our younger cat had some behavioral issues and she was communicative and very professional in dealing with negative cat behavior previously unknown to us. About: I have owned and taken care of others’ dogs from a very young age, and have experience with most breeds of dogs. My passion is making your pet feel comfortable and happy during the time you are away, or during our walks. About: i’ve always had dogs growing up, both big and small! i was the one to train two of our more recent puppies and i’m lucky enough now to live close enough to home to dogsit and train our new pup in the house! i’ve also had 2 cats growing up and my last roommate has 2 cats of her own that i helped with! i love hanging out with animals and giving them tons of attention! i don’t mind helping with training, feeding, playing, and giving lots of pets and attention!! right now i work part time and go to school, but don’t let that fool you i have tons of free time! i’m enrolled at university of michigan but elected to take an online semester and i only work 2 days a week (some weeks 3)! so i have tons of free days to look after pups and cats alike!! i’m primarily looking to pet-sit in the owners home seeing that i’m in an apartment! i wouldn’t want to stress any pets out :) i don’t mind day visits or overnight pet sitting and am comfortable with owners that prefer to crate their pets whether daytime when i leave or just to sleep, but i’m also comfortable having sleepovers with pets that are free to roam about!

About: I’ve never met an animal I don’t like or doesn’t like me. I’m very particular myself about who I let watch my babies so I’ll do the same for you. Not available during the week but am available most weekends (and Friday nights) to come by and check on your babies! I’ll send a bunch of photos. I have a 5 year old black lab and a 15 week old golden retriever puppy. Both of which I love and have tried to train (they’re working on it!) and also have two male cats that were litter mates. I just treat all animals like I would my own.

About: My friend’s family always asks me to let their dog out and play with him when they are out of town. My aunt also asks me to take care of her cat while she is out of town. For about a year I worked a dog groomer and I washed and dried dogs while I was working there. I currently am in college and this semester, I get out of class earlier on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I am in class later on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Fridays I don’t have class so I am available all day! I am able to take your dog on long walks and play with your dogs favorite toys with them. Also if there are any dog parks within walking or driving distance I can take them there.

Our beloved chocolate lab passed away and we have decided to wait until our children are older before we welcome another fur child.
