I had a special circumstance come up and we were able to come up with a good solution. Them we all came and visited the next day and everything went great. This was my first rover experience. I am proficient at caring for puppies, seniors, high energy dogs, dogs who have to be managed around other dogs, and other special needs dogs or situations. I can adjust my schedule as needed to be available! Early morning walks, mid day drop in and evening outings are all possible ways to care for your pets. I am trustworthy and reliable in your home, have a fenced in yard at my home and have lots of safe pet friendly places to take your pet on adventures (if that’s what you want!)
“Suzi is very professional and took excellent care of our five cats. She followed the instructions I left exactly and kept me updated throughout the week. We have two cats that require special food and she was able to do that without a problem. I never questioned the level of care my cats would receive throughout the week and highly recommend!”
About: I’ve never met an animal I don’t like or doesn’t like me. I’m very particular myself about who I let watch my babies so I’ll do the same for you. Not available during the week but am available most weekends (and Friday nights) to come by and check on your babies! I’ll send a bunch of photos. I have a 5 year old black lab and a 15 week old golden retriever puppy. Both of which I love and have tried to train (they’re working on it!) and also have two male cats that were litter mates. I just treat all animals like I would my own.

“Wonderful and thorough care. I never worried about my boy while gone for a week. She anticipated needs even I did not (full litter box change) and went above and beyond in other ways as well. She sends lots of updates which was a comfort while away. She cared for my boy cat Zissou as if her own. 1000% recommend! She will be who I use for any future needs.”

About: My experience caring for cats is still growing, but I recently helped rescue and care for a stray cat, which has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and the importance of making animals feel safe and comfortable. I'm dependable, attentive, and happy to provide feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and lots of affection based on your cat's personality. I understand that every pet is part of the family, and I'll care for yours as if they were my own while keeping you updated during my visits.
About: Part-time working mother of two looking to help my community care for their pet family members. I have always had a love for animals and had pets my whole life until a few years ago. Our beloved chocolate lab passed away and we have decided to wait until our children are older before we welcome another fur child. I understand the importance of respecting others homes and treating your pet as one of my “children”. I am responsible, punctual and looking forward to getting to know your pet! I am currently working from home three days a week which allows me to be available most days, nights, or weekends for drop ins, house sitting and walks. I enjoy going on runs and walks both in the country and around town. I live near a county park that allows dogs to swim and run around.

About: I’ve been caring for cats my entire life—starting with barn cats and now home cats, including plenty of playful kittens. They’re curious, lovable creatures, and I treat each one with the care they deserve. Whether it’s feeding, cleaning litter boxes, or simply giving them affection, I make sure your cats feel safe and loved while you’re away.

“Julie went above & beyond when checking in on our anti-social kitties. Her patience paid off and the fuzzy, grumpy one accepted pets and even purred! Thank you for jumping in last minute to care for Kassie & Kilo :)”

“We highly recommend Joni!!! She has a great setup for the dogs she cares for. We are visiting in the area and needed a sitter for the day. So glad we found Joni. She was very accommodating for our rescue dog that has separation anxiety. Cruiser even got along very well with the other visiting dog. We will definitely use Joni again when we are back in the area. By the way, she makes FANTASTIC Amish friendship bread!!!! Thank you so much Joni.”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of George! Thanks also for understanding about our trip being cancelled, but we’re so relieved to have a place for George to stay if we decide to rebook this summer. He came home tired and happy! And thanks for the cute pictures of him through the day, we were relieved since it was his first time ever away from us ❤️”

“Paige was WONDERFUL! Very communicative and personable. She asked that I come 15–20 minutes early to discuss Dakota's routine, ask any questions, and tour her home and backyard. It made me feel super comfortable, and I appreciated her willingness to help. I will definitely book with her again!”

“I am thrilled to share my outstanding experience with Makayla's Dog Day Care! Makayla's dedication and genuine love for dogs truly shine through in every aspect of her service. Makayla ensured that my pup has a stimulating and enjoyable day. She provided a variety of activities, from interactive toys to confidence training. My dog came home happy and well-exercised, having had a day full of fun and engagement. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the care and attention my dog received at Makayla. Makayla's exceptional service has made a world of difference, and I highly recommend her to any pet owner looking for a day care provider.”

“Melissa went above and beyond while taking care of my dog Amaya. She is an excellent caring person. I was nervous about the process because it is my first time on Rover. She helped me so much and put my mind at ease. I wholeheartedly recommend her.”

“Alex was so helpful for us. We needed somewhere to put our dogs for an evening for my daughters graduation from MSU and a few hiccups came up along the way and Alex was able to accommodate a few last minute changes. About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I can remember. I didn’t start taking it seriously until about 14 (which is 10 years ago now!). The very first animal of my own was my cat Oliver who came home in 2014. I sadly lost him this March but he truly fueled my passion for animals! I have two mini Australian Shepherds of my own so I have experience with high energy herding breeds. I’ve done all their training myself! They even have their own Instagram. My dads chosen breed is olde English bulldogges so I have experience caring for brachycephalic breeds as well. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! :) Currently I’m only available on weekends and Mondays but I have open availability on those days to play with your fur babies! I’m hoping to open my schedule up in the evening on weekdays. I never let clients dogs off-leash unless we are in a fenced, safe area. I take all precautions when walking a clients pup as I know how precious my own are to me! I care for your babies as my own because I would want the same for mine.
About: I’m a dog owner and lover who treats every pet like part of the family. Our home is a peaceful, lakefront retreat where dogs get plenty of attention, affection, and a calm environment to feel safe and loved while you’re away. Each dog will have their own private space and we have a puppy community areas indoors for the winter. Our backyard is not currently fenced but will be fully fenced in with a 6ft fence by March. We have 2 lovely dogs ourselves, a male mini Aussie and female puppy golden retriever. I’ve grown up around pets and have hands-on experience caring for dogs, understanding their needs, and making sure they feel comfortable and secure. Together, we provide a structured, nurturing environment with lots of supervision, play, and one-on-one attention. Your pup won’t just be boarded—they’ll be on vacation. From cozy private spaces to outdoor time and daily updates, we make sure every dog truly lives the good life while staying at our lakefront home. We can’t wait to welcome your pet into our home! Your dog will never be left alone or unattended in our home. My wife, our in-house assistant, and I work together to ensure dogs are seamlessly cared for throughout the day in a calm, structured environment. My wife is home full-time and is the primary caregiver during the day. She handles feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, rest periods, and one-on-one attention. Her background in childcare as a nanny translates perfectly into maintaining routines, monitoring behavior, and providing patient, attentive care. Our in-house assistant is also home full-time and supports daily care by assisting with supervised play, cleaning and sanitizing spaces, meal prep, and individual check-ins. This allows us to keep our dog-to-human ratio low and give each pup personalized attention. I’m actively involved as well, helping with morning and evening routines, enrichment activities, and overall supervision. With multiple adults present at all times, dogs are rotated through play, rest, and care schedules so no pup is ever overwhelmed or overlooked. Because we are always home, dogs receive frequent potty breaks, consistent supervision, and plenty of affection—just like they would with their own family. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are our top priorities. We’ve intentionally created a calm, structured environment where dogs are closely supervised and cared for at all times. Our home is never unattended—my wife, our in-house assistant, and I are always present, ensuring constant supervision throughout the day and night. Dogs are cared for in a controlled setting with private, comfortable spaces to rest and decompress, helping reduce stress and overstimulation. We maintain strict cleanliness and safety standards, including regular sanitizing of all dog areas, food and water bowls, and shared spaces. We follow each dog’s individual care instructions carefully, from feeding schedules to potty routines and any special needs. We are selective about the dogs we accept to ensure a safe, positive environment for everyone. This allows us to maintain a low dog-to-human ratio, closely monitor behavior, and give each pup the attention they deserve. For added peace of mind, we provide regular photo and video updates so you can see your dog happy, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. Our goal is to create a trusted home-away-from-home where you can travel confidently knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in great hands.

About: Hi there! My name is Ruby, and I was born and raised in Clinton County, MI. Growing up, my family had a variety of pets, including an Old English Bulldog and German Shepherds, which helped shape my love for dogs from an early age. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own since we’re renting, I’m looking to take on opportunities like this to earn some extra income during my final summer before graduating. I absolutely love dogs, have experience pet sitting and staying overnight with pets on multiple occasions, and some of my favorite breeds are Basset Hounds and Golden Retrievers. My schedule varies, so I’m using this as an opportunity to help fill in the gaps on a day-to-day basis. At the same time, I’m hoping to build consistent work so I can establish reliable income while also getting to know and build relationships with specific pups over time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always keep in mind that I’m stepping into their space and routine, and that their pet may not know me yet. I make it a priority to take the time to help pets feel comfortable, safe, and at ease by moving at their pace, respecting their routines, and building trust. Whether that means going for walks, keeping feeding schedules consistent, providing playtime, or simply offering companionship, I aim to create a calm and positive experience while making sure your pet feels cared for in a familiar environment.
About: I have always had pets growing up for as long as I can remember. I treat all dogs I meet as if they are my own and love to spoil them. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with their toys, and showering them with all the love they deserve. My dog and I can’t wait to meet some more dog friends!
About: I’ve been in charge of just about any type of pet under the sun; including most reptiles and rodents. I’ve even cared for a marsupial! I’m up for any challenge, including special needs and medications. I will follow any house rules given, and keep owners updated as often as they prefer. If medications are needed, I’ll have no issue administrating on schedule. I will make sure to keep all pups hydrated and happy on walks, and am open to sharing my location if asked.

About: Ever since I was little, I have loved all kinds of animals and hope to one day have a career working with them. I have been helping care for my own dogs since I was around six years old and have experience with both large breeds, like Labrador Retrievers, and small breeds, like Chihuahuas. I have also cared for the dogs and cats of friends and family while they were away. In addition to dogs and cats, I have owned and cared for two hamsters, a Canadian goose, three ducks, and have experience helping care for horses. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the extra patience and attention they sometimes need. Currently, I have two Labrador Retrievers named Annie and Delta, and I love spending time caring for them. I am also comfortable administering medications, as one of my dogs requires seizure medication three times a day. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I am committed to providing loving, reliable, and attentive care for every animal I look after. I am a junior at Hope College home for the summer so my schedule is fairly open and I am very flexible. I am usually busy weekends and Tuesday and Thursday nights when I am coaching lacrosse. I can care for your dog in your home just as you would care for your dog if you were home. I could easily crate your dog if needed, take them for walks, feed them, and take them out to use the bathroom.

“Lisa is delightful and a great communicator. She is reliable and so good with my senior chihuahua mix, Mika. It is very comforting to know Lisa also has a senior chihuahua, and is very experienced with dog care. I am happy Mika seems to really enjoy her walks with Lisa and was able to get comfortable with her fast. Lisa takes her time and is in tune with Mika’s needs. I feel bad on days I have to leave Mika alone at home for so long for work, so it means the world to me that Lisa makes sure her time with Mika is quality bonding.”

About: I've taken care of dogs of all kinds, puppies included, since I was 16. My friends and family have relied on me to stay overnight with their pets for multiple days, take them on walks, feed them, play with them, and spend time with them. I LOVE animals, and care for all of them as if they were my own! I am a full time student at the University of Arizona, but I have many gaps in my schedule throughout the week everyday. I am also available all day on the weekends. When I am in other people's homes, I make sure to leave it exactly how I found it, as I would want someone to respect my home in the same way. Ensuring home security is also very important to me, so I make sure to not share addresses and to lock any doors/gates that need to be locked.

“Excellent! Highly recommended -- This is the second time Michelle has watched Polly for us, and is incredible, excellent communication and takes amazing care of Polly. A++++”

“I can’t say enough good things about Sara and John! They went above and beyond caring for my two dogs this weekend—sending lots of pictures, keeping me updated, and even doing the cutest little activities with them. It was clear my pups were in great hands and having a wonderful time. I felt so comfortable and at ease knowing they were being so well cared for. Highly recommend!”

“Jordan’s communication was top notch!!! Jordan was very attentive to my concerns and was flexible with our pick up/drop off schedule. Most importantly, I felt like Willard was in good hands for the short time we were away. Jordan sent texts and pictures of Willard and kept us updated throughout the stay. Jordan is great!! Highly recommended sitter!”

“Susan made me feel very comfortable leaving Cora with her. You can tell she is a true animal lover! She sent updates and pictures and Cora was well looked after. We’ll use her again!”

“Haley provided EXCEPTIONAL care, from the meet and greet to Milo’s sleepover! I appreciated the attention to detail, communication and the picture you printed of Milo’s stay is now hanging on my fridge! THANK YOU for the special touches you provided. 💗”

“I had a great first experience with Rover, thanks to Martha! Martha took amazing care of my dog for a whole week in her home. I was nervous about leaving him because he's had behavioral issues in the past, but it worked out really well! Martha was very responsive from the start and experienced with rescue dogs. Martha was very accommodating of Bumi's daily medication schedule and prescription diet, as well as his rescue quirks. She sent pictures and updates which were great comforts to me. Bumi was clearly very happy and comfortable while he was boarding. I will not hesitate to book Martha again!”

“Jackie is very sweet and kind. She took wonderful care of Luna for 10 days while we were away. She was very responsive to messages and sent pictures to show us how Luna was doing. I'll definitely call on Jackie again in the future.”

“My dog Cooper was very relaxed and at home with Cheryl. I felt at ease with Cooper in her care with his special dietary needs and separation anxiety. I really appreciated how she accommodated my change in schedule due to unexpected travel delays. Definitely will rebook for future dog boarding.”

“Kim is a fantastic pet sitter who cares for my fur baby exceptionally well. She is friendly, trustworthy, and caring. This is already our third visit, and my dog has enjoyed his stay each time.”

“Chris was AMAZING! ⭐️ 10 out of 10! ⭐️ Chris gave our pup Libby the attention and love she needed, and what we wanted for her. We were looking for someone who cared about Libby, included her as a family member, made her feel special, and still maintained her daily routine. We got updates every day with pictures, which helped ease our worries, seeing her happy, playing, and interacting with Chris and his family. We would highly recommend Chris and will definitely book with him again!!! 💛 Thank you Chris!”

“Olivia was wonderful. She watched our dog for 5 days and sent great updates. She also gave him an oatmeal bath bc he was itchy and bought him toys. Would absolutely recommend booking with her.”

“KellyAnna was awesome to work with. Quick to respond initially. She was gracious enough to let us come over and get acquainted. My first visit I wasn't able to bring my dog with me. I had a special circumstance come up and we were able to come up with a good solution. Them we all came and visited the next day and everything went great. This was my first rover experience. I am so thrilled with this service. And KellyAnna was so helpful, I am very thankful for your ability to harbor Otis for 4 nights. Thank you, thank you!”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I've owned and cared for a variety of pets over the years and have experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and care needs. One of the most rewarding parts of my pet-care journey has been fostering. I'm currently a pet care specialist and foster with Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) and have also fostered for other shelters in the past. Through fostering, I've cared for pets who were shy, energetic, recovering from medical procedures, learning social skills, or simply looking for a safe place to land before finding their forever homes. I also have two dogs who don't currently live with me, but I absolutely love spending time with them whenever I can. Whether it's long walks, outdoor adventures, or hiking local trails, I'm happiest when I have a furry companion by my side. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I work shorter shifts at Capital Area Humane Society, so my schedule allows me the flexibility to provide reliable and attentive care for pets throughout the week. I make it a priority to plan my day around the pets I'm caring for so they receive the attention, exercise, potty breaks, meals, and companionship they need. Whether your pet thrives on a structured routine or is more laid-back, I'm happy to work with their individual schedule and needs. Communication is important to me, so you can also expect regular updates, photos, and check-ins while you're away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. My approach is centered on safety, patience, and positive interactions. As a foster caregiver, I've worked with animals from many different backgrounds, which has taught me how to read body language, respect boundaries, and help pets feel comfortable in new situations. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, routines, and household rules. I believe every pet deserves individualized care and attention. My goal is to provide a safe, stress-free experience where both pets and owners feel confident and comfortable. You can count on me to treat your pets with the same love and care I would give my own.
“Alexandra and her family spoiled my dog with attention in the best way possible. Alexandra gave me frequent updates and photos so I could know my dog was in great hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Alexandra to anyone who needs a safe, fun, welcoming home for their doggo to crash at!”

“She took very good care of my pup while I was away. Loved that she got to know her prior to her stay and made her feel comfortable. Loved getting updates as well. Would definitely book Alice again!”

“Ellen is absolutely wonderful! She is very receptive, accommodating, engaging and kind. My boxer, Banks, came home hung over from playing so hard all weekend. It is comforting knowing that Banks got a lot of physical and mental stimulation. We highly recommend Ellen for your pet sitting needs!”
