From learning patience with young dogs at the age of 5 weeks old, to attending to a 14 -year-old dog, I have open-handedly experienced what it is like dealing with dogs of all ages. I have also dealt with the sassy teenager phase from both dogs and cats. When they are bored, they will make it known. The biggest take I have learned from taking care of dogs and cats is that they won’t always be on your timeline. You have to be extremely patient and take time to train them and be there for them. I’m currently working part-time Monday 9am-5pm, and every other Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-7pm. I am going to school but I mainly take online classes, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need. My schedule is flexible and my boyfriend also lives with me and helps me so your pet won’t get bored! He’s home during the periods I am out so overall my schedule is free. I have a fenced in mini pet park next to my apartment. Your furry companion will get all of the exercise he/she needs! My apartment is very cozy and safe, only smaller pets are allowed so there won’t be any issue with other pet owner neighbors.

About: I've had my own pets since I was a child (0ver 40 years) and have also fostered dogs through capital area humane society for years. I currently walk an older couples dog weekly to ensure she gets out and some exercise each week. I work from home and can take multiple breaks to walk away throughout the day. I love being outdoors and going for walks in any type of weather. Rain is something I try to avoid. I am free to work remotely from any location if you happen to need a pet sitter in home or multiple check ins throughout a specific time period.

About: Hi there! My name is Taniya and I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for the past 4 years for families in my neighborhood. Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine I absolutely love dogs! I have a sweet pup of my own named Pepper. She’s a 2 year old toy poodle and Yorkie mix with a big personality in a small body! While she stays at home with my mom, I bring all that love and experience with me when I care for other fur babies. I treat every dog like they’re my own safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or just some cuddle time, I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Can’t wait to meet your furry friend! 🐾 I currently work at Michigan State University, but my schedule is flexible, and I’m available Monday through Sunday for walks, drop-ins, and cuddles! If you’re located near MSU’s campus, you’re in luck there are so many beautiful trails and green spaces I can take your dog to for fun, safe, and enriching walks. I’m all about making sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and cared for like they’re my own. Whether your pup needs a quick potty break, some fresh air, or a long walk to burn off energy, I’m here to help. Can’t wait to meet your fur baby! In my client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely from feeding schedules and walk times to any special care needs. I always make sure pets feel loved, whether that means extra belly rubs, playtime, or simply keeping them company. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I make sure they have a cozy, safe space to relax. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and offer plenty of attention, walks, and play throughout the day.
