“We are so pleased with the attention and love that Kim and Dave have given to our dog. I am not certain that she missed us very much. She felt right at home within minutes of meeting them prior to being boarded there. It was so wonderful to feel secure leaving her with people that truly care about her comfort and happiness. They are great with sharing photos and responding to messages and sharing daily photos too. We will be using them again for future needs.”

“Heidi was amazing! She and her sweet family provided our dog with lots of care & attention. We also appreciated the daily photos and updates. Our dog came home happy, healthy & clean. I definitely recommend booking with her!”

“Wendy is wonderful! They have a very professional setup, from air conditioned kennels, to individual kennels/runs for each dog, and keeping us informed on how the dogs were doing during their stay. When we picked up our dogs up they were happy and healthy. I will definitely be a returning customer!”

“Suzanne and her family took great care of my timid Brittany. We had never been separated before, and it was only the 2nd time in her 6 years of life that she spent nights away from home. Suzanne's son spent a lot of time with her, coaxing her into trusting him and feeling safe with the new situation. Suzanne sent me pictures and text updates, letting me know how my dog was doing at settling in with them. By the time I returned from my trip, Jolie was feeling at home with Suzanne and her family. My ability to enjoy my vacation with my family was made possible by the care and attentiveness Suzanne focused on my dog. I would definitely board Jolie with Suzanne again. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a good, caring home environment for their dog when they have to leave them for a while.”

“Mary was absolutely wonderful to book with. She got us in last minute, was very responsive, and gave lots of updates with pictures. She even met us closer for drop off, as she was in the area. Our dogs were in good hands. 10/10 recommend!”

“I contacted LiDan and she accepted my short notice booking for a two night stay for our 6 month old English Cream Golden Retriever. I was impressed when we were sent great photos and updates, as well as fast text replies. My dog May-C was relaxed, well-fed, and happy when we returned to pick her up. I can tell that she didn’t feel lonely without us because she had companions by her side the whole time. Finally, I would book LiDan again and recommend her to my friends and family who have beloved pets that need good care.”

“It was fantastic to find Stephanie! She is in the perfect setting to provide a peaceful, fun, and active stay for anyone's pup. Our dog, Jax, was immediately comfortable around Stephanie and her sweet dogs, plus super interested in the great surroundings he got to explore. On top of that, she was amazing at getting him out for early-morning hikes through the woods, and that is something he absolutely loves and thrives on! She really goes out of her way to accommodate in any way she can.”

“Miriam was absolutely wonderful with my dog Daisy. Miriam and her entire family worked around Daisy’s special needs and gave her the best time ever. I’m pretty sure Daisy did not want to return home after spending 3 days in doggy heaven with Miriam.”

“We cannot thank Isadora enough! She took amazing care of our dog Tinka. She sent a picture and update, so we didn’t have to worry. Tinka seemed happy and relaxed. We will gladly book with her again.”

About: I grew up in home filled with critters! From cats and dogs to reptiles and farm animals I’ve cared for so many different species! I understand that each animal has different needs and personalities and I am willing and happy to meet those needs. I’m currently a work from home parent, my schedule is incredibly flexible. My current routine already revolves around pet and child care so a couple more critters will fit right in. I have a fenced yard and my pets are friendly but can be easily separated if needed. I have a separate space in my home that can be used for pets if needed.
“Hallie took great care of our small senior pup, Finnegan while we were away. She sent lots of photos (which we loved) of their adventures. Lots of walks & even some beach time! We will definitely be reaching out again in the future if you need care.”

“Abby takes pet care to a level I never thought possible, she is the best we’ve ever found, and our dog June adores her like a beloved family member. Abby’s love for animals runs so deep and it shows in the absolute top-level care and attention she gives to fur babies. She also lives a non-toxic lifestyle and is an expert on human and pet nutrition, so we feel so safe and at peace whenever our dog is with her— no chemical exposures, no weird fragrances when we get our dog back (which has been an issue with pet sitters in the past), and we know our dog is getting the most nourishing, high-quality food and treats when she’s with Abby. Abby has even helped guide us on tweaking our dog’s diet for better outcomes, and at 7.5 years old, our dog June has never been healthier and so vibrant, which we attribute to Abby’s help. Abby is passionate about giving dogs the utmost in outdoor adventures and healthy socialization when she’s caring for them, and our June comes home from her house so fulfilled, balanced and at peace (in the past with other pet sitters our dog has come home more anxious and on edge, but this is certainly never the case with Abby on watch). Abby also keeps up on communication and check-ins when we’re away, sending pictures and updates, and my gosh what a magical life these pets have when they are with Abby! It’s a dog’s dream!!! We have so much peace of mind when we leave our dog June with Abby, which is something every pet owner deserves to feel when they’re away for a while. Abby is an angel, and the warmth and love she provides in her home is incredible, it’s not something you see often. I can think of no one better to leave your beloved fur babies with. When people say she’s a dog whisperer, they aren’t kidding. See for yourself. She’s amazing.”

“We love Mikey! The dogs love Mikey! One of our dogs is fragile due to a heart condition and is on meds. Mikey took good care of him and I didn't need to worry. She has an awesome yard for the dogs to run and play. I was on a va-cay and I think my dogs felt that they were too!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sagle
Absolutely incredible sitter — cannot recommend enough! We found Autumn last minute for the holidays and honestly feel so lucky that we did. From the moment we met her, we knew Izzy was in the best possible hands. She has extensive dog training experience, and her own dogs have won competitions — and it really shows in the calm, confident, and loving way she cares for every pup. Izzy stayed inside her home, which made such a difference for us. It felt like she was staying with family, not boarding. We rarely leave Izzy, so I was extremely nervous — but Autumn immediately put us at ease with her knowledge, communication, and genuine love for dogs. She provided updates, made sure Izzy felt comfortable, and treated her like one of her own. This was hands down the best boarding experience we could have hoped for. If you’re looking for someone who is: • Highly experienced • Skilled in training • Kind, patient, and trustworthy • Offers a true home environment — look no further. We will absolutely use her again and recommend her without hesitation to anyone who wants the very best care for their dog. 🐾🐾💛🐾🐾

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
