About: Caring for pets has been an important part of my life for as long as I remember and I know how important it is that our furry family members get the best care when we are away. From daily feeding, playtime, and training to handling medications, vet visits, trips to the emergency vet, I've done it all. I volunteer weekly at the Greenhill Humane Society socializing shy and nervous cats and have completed a course in pet CPR and first aid. With an 18-month-old boxer of my own, I know all about working with exuberant dogs and puppies and am always learning new training techniques to help with enrichment and obedience. A few things I would like every pet parent to provide me before I care for their pet. We can discuss this, and anything that I missed, when we first meet. - Expected arrival and departure dates and time - Emergency contacts besides yourself - Feeding schedule and instructions, including treats allowed - Health conditions to be aware of - Detailed medication instructions if needed - Name and address of their vet - Closest emergency vet - Pet temperament (fears, anxieties, etc) - Toys and favorite games - Where pet(s) sleep - Where they are and are not allowed in the house or yard (if dog) Dog: - Their potty habits - Equipment such as harnesses, leashes, poop bags, treats etc. - Anything I need to know about their behavior outside of the home (walking, in the car, around other animals and people) - Crate rules (if used) House (if housesitting): - Alarm instructions if applicable - Trash, recycling, and mail/package handling - Location of pet supplies - Location of thermostats, electrical panels, laundry, etc. - Wifi password, remote controls, etc. - Any service professionals who might visit during the stay (cleaners, yard maintenance, etc.) - Expectations around plants, mail, clean-up before your return I'm retired from the UO, so outside of my volunteer hours (~6 hours/week), my schedule is very flexible! I'm happy to work with the schedule that suits your pets needs. Meeting your pet's needs is my highest priority, whether it is playtime, quiet affection, a long walk, or simple companionship. I ask that all pet owners leave detailed instructions on their pet's needs, including what treats they can have, medications required, how they like to play, what actions or situations might cause anxiety, and all information for vet care and emergency contacts.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I have one of my own. I have trained and raised a couple puppies and housesit and cared for many dogs. I also have veterinary care experience. My schedule is currently very open and I am looking to add caring for animals more into my life as it is something I really genuinely enjoy so I’m available for last minute or prepared ahead of time plans I have a fenced in backyard, with access to a doggie door. I have a miniature dachshund, and a domestic shorthaired cat. My animals rule the roost and are cared for exceptionally well. With access to food and water and a cool house with comfortable beds.

About: Having grown up in a household with at least 2 dogs in it at all times, and usually another foster, I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and sizes, from newfies to gsds to king charles caveliers. About: I have taken care of animals since I was little. I have so much love to give to animals, they completely fill my heart and make me happy. I have experience with older animals as well as younger. I work all days of the week. Need a vacation? Call me up and I am more than willing to come and take care of some animals. I have a fenced yard and my own dog is extremely friendly with other animals including small dogs. Inside of my home I do not leave things laying around that could potentially harm my own dog or others. About: I love all types of pets! I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs. In addition I have helped on my cousins farm for years helping all sorts of animals. I take pet care seriously and love studying each breed and learning the specific care needed for each pet. I have helped in all stages of a puppies life as I have a corgi and have been through puppy care but also before moving out I cared for my parents senior dog until he passed. I can’t wait to care for your furbabies! I currently work Monday- Thursday. I am off at 6 so I can watch overnight, I also am off Friday- Sunday and can help with any number of things! About: Hi, I'm Desiree! I live in the hills in Southwest Eugene with my family & fur babies: four dogs, a cat, and a bunny. So animals are my everyday life. I know that leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I treat every pet like one of my own: lots of attention, consistent routines, and clear updates so you never have to wonder how they're doing. I currently work full time but my position is one that I get to work from home. So I am available anytime to watch the animal or walk them. My dogs and bunny would stay upstairs and there is a whole living area on the second floor. There is a gate on the stairs separating the living areas (due to my dog having bad hips). Your pet gets a fenced yard / daily walks and outdoor time, regular meals on your schedule, fresh water, and plenty of attention and play. I'm comfortable giving medications and following special diets or recovery instructions, and I'll send photo or video updates during every stay. Dogs sleep inside with us. We can do a meet-and-greet first so your pet can get comfortable with me.
