About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12. I have been relied upon by family and friends to walk and feed their pets, for the most part multiple animals at once. I am currently a pre-veterinary student at UVM. I’m currently an under graduate at the University of Vermont. I have a lot of time outside of classes to care for your animals when you need. I am incredibly accustomed to the furry friend chaos. I’ve been dealing with the craziness of animals for a long time and have been very good in the best about shutting down any excessive behavior in a calm and cool manner.

About: Since I can remember, I have always adored and held a special place in my heart for animals, but dogs especially. I had two dogs (now just 1 dog) of my own and I love playing with them, taking them on walks, and just being there to take care of them in general. Dogs have always boosted my mood and I genuinely think owning dogs, or animals in general, it’s one of the best gift’s! I’m currently working part-time as of now, because I am still finishing up a couple months left of high school. I am able to help mainly on weekends as of now. I feed my dogs, take them on walks, let them sit outside and throw the ball around with them, take them out, give them treats when they’re behaving well, and give them endless amounts of love.

About: Hello! My name is Maggie. I have a Bachelor of Science in Animal Behavior and a Masters in Fisheries and Wildlife Resources. I work as an Environmental Analyst and prior to this, I worked as a Marine Biologist, a Veterinary Assistant, and a Zoo Keeper. I have years of experience taking care of animals of all kinds from snakes and fish to cats and dogs. I myself have a 11 year old Pitbull named Hope and a 4 year old Tuxedo cat named Kreature. For most people, your pet is a family member, and it is with the utmost respect and confidence that I will take care of your pet as such. I am hoping to establish and solidify new client relationships through Rover. I have a flexible schedule that allows me the ability to provide services during week long stays, shorter stays, weekends/weekdays, and drop-ins for all types of pets. I am a great communicator who follows owner directions with respect and care. I am understanding and able to work with any pets and their needs.

“This is the first time we worked with Alex. She was a great communicator even before the reservation began. From coordinating the meet and greet to messages throughout her visits, she provided the perfect amount of updates in a timely manner. She cared for 3 cats, including 2 of which needed either insulin, eye drops, and/or oral meds and 1 who experienced daily stool incontinence. Alex was quick to learn all of the medical needs and nuances of the 3 cats after the initial meet and greet. She dropped in twice a day and left our apartment as clean as we had left it. We felt incredibly grateful and lucky to have met such an experienced and professional pet sitter, such as Alex, on our first try in the Cambridge area. We already have Alex booked for future travels and feel we’re in good hands!”

“Jessica goes above and beyond when she takes care of my cats while I'm away. Both cats love her!! She follows all instructions carefully and I love all the commentary she sends as well as all the pictures . She's a gem and I am so happy I found her . I never worry any more when I leave my cats !!!”

“Susannah was great! Terrific communication and my pups loved her!”

Whether your dog is high-energy or laid-back, I’ll provide personalized care that keeps them safe, happy, and loved, just like they’re part of my own pack! I work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to offer consistent and reliable care for your dog. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my background and nearly 20 years of experience as a nurse, along with a lifelong love for animals. I’m calm, reliable, and especially attentive to the needs of senior pets, those with medical conditions, or animals that may be anxious or shy. I also have experience with basic puppy training and medication administration. I bring a gentle, professional approach to every pet I care for—and I treat each one like family Pet care fits into my routine perfectly—I’m available after work on weekdays, early mornings, and anytime on weekends. I’m committed to making sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for during our time together. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a walk, or overnight care, I’m flexible and dependable, with great communication to keep pet parents updated every step of the way. In the client’s home, I make sure pets stay comfortable in their familiar space. I follow their routine closely—whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or medication—and give them lots of love and attention while you’re away. I keep things clean and calm, and I always send updates so you know how your pet is doing. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I create a safe, cozy environment that feels like a home away from home. I only take in a limited number of pets at a time to give each one the attention they deserve, and I maintain a consistent routine to help them feel relaxed and secure.

Julia P.
“Julia has been helping to take care of our 2 dogs (and plants, outdoor flowers, mail, etc.!) on and off over the past 2 years. She is very reliable, takes good care of our dogs, and goes above & beyond when we ask for her help with other things. I highly recommend her for pet sitting, dog walking, and other "house-sitting" tasks.”

Maggie L.
“Maggie is an amazing animal care giver. She has watched my two dogs numerous times. She’s and caring kind and patient with my older dog who is not the fastest walker any more. She takes her time and goes at his pace. Maggie also has watched them when Iv gone on vacation. She sends my daily updates and pictures of how my fur babies are doing. She’s also so good with the younger one who’s just two years old she always tires him out from long walks and lots of fetch. My dogs love and I would fully recommend her to any one looking for a caring, fun dog sitter.”
