About: Since 2019, I've worked as a Behavior Care provider at a local animal shelter, an experience that has deeply shaped how I approach animal care. About: I’ve never lived without a dog, so I have life experience playing, feeding, walking, and bathing pups. I helped raise and train my parents’ Golden Retriever puppy during COVID. I’m the go-to sitter for friends’ dogs and have experience with giving oral medication safely. About: I grew up on a farm, where my mom also had a doggy day care. About: HUGE animal lover! Ever since I was a kid I have loved surrounding myself with animals/pets. I grew up having dogs and cats so they have a special place in my heart. I’m currently working two jobs: full-time at Wilson McGinley 5 days a week and part-time at a Hitchhiker Brewing. The full time requires me to be gone 2-8 hours (flexible with being an on premise sales rep) and the brewery is a 7 hour shift. I can always make time for pet care! When I am at someone’s home I can take the dog outside every 2-4 hours and can provide daily walks. If I am staying at someone’s place I usually tend to clean their home because I want to show a level of respect for anyone allowing me to stay at their home.

About: Since I was a child, people would bring strays or unbalanced animals to our house who would suddenly be calm and comfortable in my care. I spent a lot of time in nature and wild animals would often follow me home. I now have my Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and wrote an original thesis on clicker training for service dogs. I am on the Board and a trainer for Hero Puppies for Life where we train service dogs for heroes with PTSD. We use positive reinforcement and are focused around relational bond training. This sets the dogs up for success to support their humans. We also teach their humans how to understand their dog's instincts and communication. I am quite passionate about it. :) Leo is my 7 year old black lab and personal service dog so your fur family will have free socialization and canine therapy in addition to my human care. He has worked with me extensively as a focal point in my approach to providing applied behavior analysis therapy to children and dogs. I am currently a full time student in an online, fully remote, tech program so I am very flexible when it comes to location, time of day, and duration for care.
