She did a meet and greet the same day I submitted my request and asked a lot of questions about the care and schedule for my pup which made me feel reassured. During the stay Martha was very responsive and gave frequent updates with pictures and videos which I appreciated! When I picked up my pup she was very happy and healthy! About: I have been a pet owner for virtually my entire life! Cats, dogs, rabbits and even a bird! My partner and I recently lost our beloved Jack Russell Terrier “Terrie” after 14 wonderful years. While regular travel commitments make it difficult to adopt another companion of our own at this time, we would love the opportunity to care for your “best fur-iend” when we are home! My partner and I both work from home, so, rest assured, someone will always be there with your pet for playtime, potty breaks and walks. I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. The house is of a decent size and currently we are without a full-time pet of our own. Your pet will enjoy being the center of attention!

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was 10. I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as puppy care! I also have experience with training. I currently work from home, so I am just hanging out with my dogs all day and taking them outside, so I thought why not have some more dogs come hangout with us! I have my own two dogs that are super sweet and friendly, and would love some more friends to play with! I take them out every 2 hours if not more and we go on walks or play in the field!

We needed a pet sitter for our dog, Max, when we went on vacation. This was our first time using Rover. We were looking for a sitter close by, who would take care of Max at their house. We found Cedric and he was available for the dates we needed. Before we left, Cedric came to our house to meet Max, and then we scheduled a day for Max to spend at Cedric's house. Cedric is very observant to dog behavior and he was very patient with Max. After we left on vacation, Cedric gave daily updates on Max, including pictures, short videos, and a summary of what Max did for the day. Max hates fireworks and since it was right after Fourth of July, there were fireworks going off the days after. He set up a room for Max to hang out in until they were over. Max found a favorite toy at Cedric's house and Cedric gave it to Max. We can't say enough good things about Cedric and how he cared for Max while we were gone. We really appreciate everything he did and will definitely use him again in the future. We highly recommend him.
Amanda did a great job caring for our dog while we were away. Communication was good, drop off and pick up were easy, and we received updates during the stay. Our dog came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. It was reassuring knowing he was in good hands, and we would definitely use Amanda again in the future. Matt was our first experience with not only leaving Chili overnight with someone new, but also with using Rover.com - and we could not be happier! Matt was extremely responsive and sent daily updates with photos and videos. Matt's dog Kobe was a great friend to Chili, along with another dog guest that he was watching at the same time. Chelsi is an amazing sitter! I had to connect with her at the last minute for a weekend trip, and she was so accommodating, we were even able to squeeze in a meet-and-greet beforehand. You can immediately tell she is a dog person, and Pepper warmed up to her very quickly! While on my trip Chelsi was very consistent with sending updates and pictures, and I could tell that Pepper was feeling very comfortable with her. I would absolutely recommend her and I look forward to booking with her again!

Lemieux had the best time with Erin and her family. He and their dog Melvin became the best of friends. Having him stay the night for multiple days with her dogs gave Lemieux the confidence booster he really needed as a young puppy. He was shy around other dogs but after staying with Erin he is so happy and excited to meet other dogs. At the end of everyday we received an update on how things were going and pictures of Lemieux which really eased my anxiety since this was the first time we were leaving him. I would rebook Erin for our next trip. Thank you so much Erin!

This was our first time using Reita as a pet sitter, and it definitely won’t be our last. She was warm and welcoming from the start with such an obvious love for animals and a real understanding of how to care for them. While we were away she kept us updated with photos and messages which made us feel comfortable knowing Ziggy had settled in and felt right at home.
