“Levon is amazing! My boy Melvin is very skittish and inclined to be fearful of new men, but Levon put him at ease right away, and Melvin was licking his face and trying to climb on him within minutes of our first meeting! I’m blown away by how Levon immediately knew exactly how to handle and communicate with Melvin—my guy is definitely a tough case with major anxiety and leash reactivity (which means 62 lbs jerking at your arm when our passing-trigger protocol fails to keep him calm), and Levon is literally the one and only person I feel comfortable handing the leash to as of right now. I was finally able to take a three-day trip without Melvin over Thanksgiving because of Levon—I hadn’t been able to do that since adopting him because he’s such a handful and has some special needs—and I was actually able to enjoy myself without worrying about Melvin! For him it was just a great visit with his buddy who took him for awesome outings to walk and hike, and quality time at the house where he received lots of love and attention. Melvin and I are so grateful to have Levon as our go-to now for when I want to schedule trips, and also as someone who can bring him out on adventures for extra exercise and stimulation!”

Upon meeting Juliann we were completely confident in her ability to provide excellent care for ours dogs and our home in our absence. Juliann is by far the best dog/house sitter we have ever had. My experience includes daily walks/runs, grooming, playtime, and providing plenty of love and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work 4 days a week at a local hospital, typically 7-8 hour shifts, so I’m home in the mornings and evenings to give pets plenty of attention. My own dog enjoys daily trips to the nearby dog park, plus quick potty breaks in the large grassy area behind my apartment. I make sure visiting pets get the same level of exercise, playtime, and affection to keep them happy and comfortable. In my home, pets have a safe, comfortable space, access to a fenced balcony, and constant access to fresh water. I follow their feeding schedules closely and provide regular walks or park visits for exercise. My friendly 2.5-year-old bernedoodle loves having playmates, and I always supervise interactions to ensure all pets feel secure. I tailor care to each animal’s needs, whether that means active play, cuddle time, or a quiet resting spot. If your pet is crate-trained and you’d like them to have a crate during their stay, please bring your own so they feel comfortable and at home.

About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, and all the usual suspect farm animals. Animals both astound me and ground me, keeping me on my toes and connected to the cycles of days and lives. I've lived all over the world in homes with various animals. I feel comfortable connecting with and caring for people's pets in the many shapes and forms they come in. There are so many ways to engage with other living creatures, both unpredictable and patterned. I look forward to learning from the animals I work with. I work as a nanny. During the day the kids are at school so my time is flexible. Typically I can be gone for less than 4-5 hours max. I take lots of walks so that's never a problem either. I do manage an injury with my back and neck so if your dog is a strong puller, it wouldn't be a great fit. I like to go for walks and imagine your dog does, too. So being outside would be a big part of our time together. I'm often rubbing down my own dog at home and scanning her for ticks; if that's something your dog might have, I'm not foreign to that kind of care either.
