They were super attentive with my little spoiled brat (and I say that with love 😄). He was always wagging his butt and happy to go back, which says it all. I really appreciated how they noticed he was picky with food—he wouldn’t eat there, but they still checked in and made sure I knew. He had plenty of playtime and always came home happy and tired, which is a win in my book! I didn’t want him going on walks because of his reactivity to cars, and they totally respected that—he got plenty of backyard play instead. Bonus points for being flexible with my chaotic work schedule. Highly recommend! 🐾”

They have an excellent set-up for a fun, safe "day camp" for dogs with different natures - active, chill, aloof, garrulous! Our little tugger is a playing machine, and initially presents as intense, so I wasn't sure if he'd fit in. Before taking us on, Jen and Josh met with us in person at their location, and on day 1, I felt that they were observing him carefully, based on Jen's updates. When visit #2 rolled around, as soon as we got to the front entrance where Jen was waiting, I became non-existent and the tugger embarked on a great day! I'm truly grateful to have found this setting- the tugger benefits greatly from the socializing and activity, and it happens in a secure place with attentive and caring humans!”

About: Hi, I’m Emily! I grew up having dogs and cats, and have since become an owner of two very sweet pointer dogs! I have also enjoyed caring for the pets of family members, friends, and neighbors. I am hoping to make Rover my full-time job, and therefore am available to you Monday through Friday! I currently have a 5-week commitment for about an hour or 2 on Thursday evenings. Other than that, anytime that works for you works for me! I have a large fenced deck and patio that your furry friend can hangout on if they’d like! About: I am retired, ex professional, experienced in animal care, domestic, horses and exotic animals. I have done pet and house sitting in France and in the usa. I have excellent references on my website. I can give oral medication, puppies will go out every 2 hours. I have an adorable poodle who will love playing with your puppy, she is like a mother to puppies. I used to do dog rescue while living in France, and placed all dogs saved in very good homes, this was my main concern. I can read dogs body language, and dealt with traumatized dogs, among them my silver poodle, who was very traumatized by his past. I do like old dogs and have adopted some in the past. If a dog swallow something he should not have, I know how to make them throw up. I am retired, as a parent of 2 purbred miniature poodles, I spend most of my time at home, and take them out reguarly. When I have to go out, I am never gone long. I give a lots of attention to my dogs and dogs I sit. I will give the same care to your dogs and if I take them on a walk, will never let them approach a dog I don't know. the yard is fenced but will always go outside with the dogs and will take them on a leash when it's dark. I live outside cottage grove, I am very protective of my own dogs, will be with yours, too.

About: I have watched many dog when my moms friends where out of town. I have stayed the weekend and made sure they where taken care of. My schedule is pretty open seeing as I make my own schedule at work. And it’s summer so that’s even more time to help out. I have a very friendly dog! He gets lots of walks and my place has a court yard so he gets lots of runs and love.
