“I have two cats! Keliann did a wonderful job! This was my first time using Rover. I was a bit nervous at first how this was all going to go! She was very helpful and informative which helped ease my anxiety! Throughout the time she kept me updated with detailed notes on how the visit went! She seems very attentive and definitely an animal lover! I can’t thank her enough for her help!”

“Kelly was amazing! She communicated with me throughout our whole vacation and sent me great photos of my pets! I had complete peace of mind knowing that my little ones were being cared for and loved while I was gone. Thanks so much Kelly! We look forward to you sitting for us again!”

“Stephanie is such a kind and gentle person and you can really tell she cares about the pets she is caring for. I was very upfront about how dog reactive my 130 lb Great Dane is and she handled him with grace and he took to her immediately. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“I LOVE Kristyna! A few years ago, she cared for my German Shepherd dog King, before his passing. And she did an amazing job! Recently, we booked her for our two new German Shepherds, Jax and Koda. Jax loves everyone, and of course, grew a liking to her quickly. However, Koda doesn’t give anyone a chance at a first meeting. Even though he’s a one year old 80 pound baby, he looks and can be very intimidating. But Kristyna was very patient with him. She eventually won him over, which says a lot about her care for animals. She is also very responsive and will go out of her way to help you. Our flight got cancelled at the last minute, and I contacted her in the late night to see if she was available to do one last visit. Kristyna did not hesitate to say YES! I am SO grateful and happy to add her to our family dynamics. Book her! You won’t be disappointed!❤️”

“Dameng is a truly wonderful person. Every time he came to check on our cat, he would take photos and videos to keep us updated on how the cat was doing. He was very easy to communicate with, and our cat quickly grew fond of him. If we travel again in the future, we’ll definitely ask Dameng to take care of our cat again. Thank you!”

“She’s been an amazing cat sitter! She’s always on time, takes great care of my cats and is super attentive. I really appreciate that she keeps me in the loop with regular updates and photos which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. It’s clear she genuinely cares and I always know my cats are in good hands. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Was great with handling my dog when she was nervous and had never met Chase. Wouldnt feel more comfortable with anyone else watching my dog after that and I will be using Chase in the future.”

“I hired Holly for drop in visits to inject insulin on my diabetic dog. She was very professional and punctual. He didn’t even feel the poke. I will definitely hire Holly again to care for my pets.”

“Fantastic sitter! They took great care of our two dogs and kept us updated throughout their stay. Our pups were happy, well cared for, and clearly received lots of attention. We felt completely at ease while away and would gladly book with them again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’m studying to be an engineer and my dad has a joke that i’m coming back as a veterinarian which says a lot. Unconditional love is what dogs have and the only thing you can do with it is to give some right back to them. I love going on walks and runs even without dogs, so it’s a perfect match. I’m also pretty good at tug of war, i might let your dog win a few times. I’m currently a student at A&M Kingsville with a lot of free time between classes and i’m very flexible as far as my schedule goes. I’m always eat at home and can unsure your dog gets a meal too. I do have a medium sized crate along with some treats of my own. In my apartment complex there is a fenced in doggy area as well as a bunch of yard throughout. As stated though, i love going on walks and letting them explore the campus, and other people love giving out pets and scratches.

About: I have checked on my neighbors dog briefly. I also have a golden retriever and 2 guinea pigs that I own and I also take care of my brothers cats from time to time. I do work full time but still have time in my day to play with my pets and feed them and all the things necessary. If you any specific rules for your home I will follow them completely. I will make sure your pets are well taken care off and safe.
“Elmer was very helpful on everything we asked for, consistent on updates. Our dog was well taken care of. Would recommend him for anybody looking for someone needing his services.”

“First time with Candice and she accommodated our booking and all our requests in such short notice. She also sent us pictures to keep us updated. Truman seemed to love her. Will definitely avail of her services again.”

“Amina, has been taking care of my cats, Ariel and Sasha, for a long time. They adore her. I never have to worry when I’m traveling because Amina is very thorough. She takes care of all of their needs from feeding to litter to playtime.”

“Thank you Maria for taking care of our 2 dogs!!! She checked in and has stayed in our home and left everything perfectly clean. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. Bo and Maverick love spending time with her and will absolutely book with her again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rosharon. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
