“I can't say enough wonderful things about Kirk & Anita and their home. Our dog is very large and needs a good workout every day. Their property is perfect with huge fenced in enclosures with lots of fun areas for the dogs to explore. They sent daily photos and updates and were willing to work around our schedule. Finn came home clean and exhausted along with a little goodie bag! We will definitely use them again!”

“Jason was incredible with my two dogs. He was very communicative and let me know how they were doing while I was away. My dogs instantly were comfortable with him and in his home too, which says a lot for them. I would absolutely book with Jason again!”

About: I have 3 year old collie/heeler mix pup. I can come and walk or run your dog any time of the day and am willing to sit your animals while you are away in your own home, I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I can also do cat care and other small animals as well. We recently lost my cat of 18 years so I love cats and miss having them around! I also have horse experience, own my own and have been riding for over 20 years. I love animals, all of them (you can ask my husband). I will treat your furbabies as if they were my own and they will get a ton of affection and attention while I visit.
“Kristin always provides updates on our elderly girl, Mya. She gives Mya meds when needed. And she tries hard to find ways to get our picky girl to eat her food. We can relax while Mya is in Kristin’s care know she is a great caretaker!”

“Look no further if you're browsing for a second home for a furry family member. Diana was able to take my standard poodle last minute after we figured a heat wave would be too much for him to endure over a long camping weekend. We have resorted to only booking places like airbnbs that are dog friendly because he would get SO stressed out (and even refused to get out of the car last time we brought him to a reputable kennel in our area). It was terrible because he's a VERY easy going and happy guy. I could tell he felt at home at Diana's because he was his usual calm and composed when I came back to get him (unlike at the kennel where he would go bonkers and be beside himself to see us again) and he settled right back in at home like nothing, not at all like when he would come home after staying at the kennel where he's completely out of sorts for a good couple days. He obviously had a very pleasant, stress-free stay--a vacation for him as well as for us! Diana offers a home away from home, so if you're looking for a doting, dependable caregiver for your pooch, you've found just that place here, I can assure you.”

“Carrie was wonderful! My dog, Murphy, seem to really enjoy staying at her home. Carrie sent me pictures throughout our time away showing me that Murphy was having a good time. This made us feel very good. Drop off and pick up were very easy and I would highly recommend Carrie to anyone who’s looking for a dog sitter.”

“Eileen took excellent care of our dog while my family was on vacation! We felt very confident the entire time we were away that he was safe, happy, and being well taken care of. We will definitely book again!”

About: I am an animal lover and would love to help take care of your furry, feathered, and scaled friends! I have 3 cats and since I was born, I have always had at least one cat and fish. I also love dogs and have experience with farm animals, too. I can help with feedings, waste clean-up, walking, play time, brushing, and whatever else you may need. I am also happy to take photos, send you text updates, or do a phone call/video chat with you during the service so I can keep you informed with any updates and to put your mind at ease (I know how stressful it can be when you've just met your pet sitter and you're away on vacation, missing your babies- I've been there!). Please feel free reach out with any questions or if you'd like to schedule a phone or in-person interview. I currently work part-time as a tour guide and do the occasional side gig in the pet care/housekeeping field. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I can make early morning and late afternoon and evening visits. Certain days I am available any time of day, as I am only working part-time and not every day. I always respect the client's house rules and put pet safety first. I can assist with feedings, walking dogs/letting them out in the yard, waste clean-up, brushing, and playtime/keeping pets' company.

“Shelanne was great! Bagel enjoyed her stay and I appreciated the updates and Shelanne picking up and dropping off Bagel which made it much easier for me to handle my work travel on schedule. Will definitely be rebooking!”

“Leo had a wonderful time with Danielle and her family. He enjoyed running around in the backyard. Danielle was great and sent photos and videos daily! We will definitely board Leo with them in the future!”

“I highly recommend Beth. This was the first time away from my fur baby and she gave me so many updates every day throughout the day to put me at ease. I loved watching all the vids of my pup playing with the other dogs and seeing daily pictures! I literally drove two hours because she is more qualified than the people around my area. And I would rather drive far to ensure my pup has a great experience, than drive 20 min and leave my pup with someone inexperienced. Beth is SUPER kind and is passionate about animals! She knows what she’s doing and I trust her completely. My pup had so much fun with Beth and I would 100% make the drive again next time. Thank you so much!!”
“It was tough for my boyfriend and I to leave our timid 8 month old puppy for a long weekend, but we knew she was in good hands with Ashley and her family. Ashley was great with responding quickly to any questions I had and sent me a bunch of pictures while we were gone which made me feel better. I would definitely use her in the future.”

“Alison was wonderful! I feel confident that my pup was treated like family and was comfortable and loved the entire time we were away. I will absolutely be using her again.”

“It was our first time booking this sitter and she was absolutely amazing. She sent me lots of pictures of my dog 🐶 and updates on how she’s doing. She was very quick in responding to my messages and very kind. My girl 🐕 came home the happiest. She had her best time there. I have rebooked this sitter for next month and will 💯 book her again in the near future. Can’t wait for my girl 🐕 go on another staycation at this sitter’s place. Cannot recommend enough. ❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs pretty much my entire life. I can’t help but love on dogs. They have so much to offer and live so deeply. I work full time during the week. Once I’m home and on weekends I am all about loving on my own Willow! We love to play and go for walks as much as possible. Usually by bedtime we are both exhausted. I do not have a fenced yard but we live in a quiet development. Since we are in the back it is safe. Dogs can have free roam of the house if they are potty trained. We do have small area sectioned off for our own pup that we can use if not potty trained. Our own pup is crated trained and in her crate when we aren’t there as well as at night. We prefer the same.
“I can’t recommend her enough! She took amazing care of my puppy, Ziggy, and kept me updated on how he was doing throughout the day. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring and trustworthy hands. Ziggy had a great time playing outside, socializing with the other dogs, enjoying his treats, eating well, and getting plenty of fresh water. When I picked him up, he was happy and clearly well cared for. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves animals and treats them like family, this is the person to trust. I’ll definitely be using her again for future dog sitting. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Ziggy”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Rosenhayn home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
