About: I’ve taken care of animals since before I could walk! I’ve trained my own puppy and taken care of senior dogs. I have patience and love for animals that sets me apart! I am currently a teacher looking for a summer job, which means my schedule is very open throughout the summer months! I am available for daytime visits, walks, feedings, and pet care throughout the week. While I prefer weekdays, I am flexible and may be available on weekends when needed. I am a reliable and trustworthy person who will treat your home, dog, or cat with the same care, respect, and love that I would give my own pets. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else's care, and I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience.
“Niesha took great care of my dog Faelan while I was away. I also appreciated that she gave my dog a fair chance. Strangers often form unfair opinions of what my dog is going to be like based on appearance alone (she looks like the dogs commonly used by the military). Niesha approached meeting Faelan with an open mind. Thank you Niesha!”

About: Throughout my teen years, I’ve taken care of many pets; from training my puppies to caring for relatives’ pets. No matter the circumstances, I always have a fun time caring for these pets. I’m on the hunt for a part time job so I’m available all the time to care for pets! What better to do than doing something I love? I have three dogs at home and big yard but as we warm my dogs up to playing with others as part of their puppy training, we’ll keep your pets in your home.
“Hallie was great! She took great care of our cat and kept us updated with pictures each visit so we knew he was happy. She even brought in our mail for us! We had a stress free trip knowing our little guy was in good hands.”

“Marissa was communicative and careful. She made my dogs feel safe and happy while I was away. She was flexible and made the process easy for us! Highly recommend and look forward to working together again.”

I am well versed in caring for animals with behavior issues as well as working with and housing high drive working line dogs. I have had to administer medications regularly both in pill/tablet and liquid form with 100% success. I adhere to your directions exactly as relayed. All the animals I sit thoroughly enjoy their time, either in their home or here with me, while you are gone. I will happily send photos of your animals so you can have some much needed peace of mind while off on your vacation or long work day!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs pretty much my entire life. I can’t help but love on dogs. They have so much to offer and live so deeply. I work full time during the week. Once I’m home and on weekends I am all about loving on my own Willow! We love to play and go for walks as much as possible. Usually by bedtime we are both exhausted. I do not have a fenced yard but we live in a quiet development. Since we are in the back it is safe. Dogs can have free roam of the house if they are potty trained. We do have small area sectioned off for our own pup that we can use if not potty trained. Our own pup is crated trained and in her crate when we aren’t there as well as at night. We prefer the same.

My goal is to provide dependable service and ensure every pet feels secure and well-cared for in their owner's absence. About: I have been around dogs consistently for about 10 years and we currently have two golden retrievers in our home (5 and 1). I enjoy being around dogs and look forward to potentially helping your family and pets! I currently work full time remotely which allows a fairly flexible schedule to help meet multiple requests. Please feel free to ask any questions upon a booking request. I am flexible to be able to let your pets out, spend time with them, feed them upon request, and open to anything that will help them have a normal and enjoyable experience.
About: have 6 months to a year of hands-on experience as a kennel attendant and dog handler, working with dogs of many sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I’ve handled strong and high-drive breeds such as Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, and Dobermans, and I’m confident staying calm and in control in different situations. I do well with reinforcing basic commands like sit, stay, and leash manners, and I’m especially good with puppies, helping them learn structure, routine, and positive behaviors early on. I’m patient, observant, and always focused on the dog’s comfort and safety. I’m still learning and growing in my skills, but I take pride in building trust, reading body language, and providing consistent, respectful care for every dog. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I’m fully open on Thursdays and Sundays, which allows me to dedicate focused time to walks, drop-ins, and extended care. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, I typically finish work around 2–3 PM, giving me good afternoon and evening availability. On Fridays and Saturdays, I’m usually available after around 4 PM. Because of this schedule, I’m able to be consistent, punctual, and flexible, whether it’s daily walks, check-ins, or longer visits. I plan my time carefully to make sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I provide a calm, structured environment with a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise. I maintain routines and reinforce basic training every other day to keep dogs mentally engaged and well-behaved.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Rosenhayn
Celia was a great cat sitter! She made sure they always had plenty of food and water and was good with giving yuzu his vitamin supplement twice a day. The litter was always cleaned and she sent so many pictures of them with updates. She was always on time and stayed for the full hour so that my kitties had some play time (and cuddle time) in. Would highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
