“Here's the thing...Mandy is awesome! She wanted to do a Meet and Greet with our pup, before setting up a walking appointment. Our Border Collie is a shy girl when it comes to strangers. Mandy came in and sat on the floor, being patient and letting our dog come to her. After maybe 2 minutes our pup was best friends with her lol. Our pup kept getting Mandy to play tug, and throw her toy. It was so funny and cute. She didn't want to just take our money. She wanted to make sure she was a good fit for our dog, before committing to a walk. That's pretty cool. After taking our pup on a walk she always makes sure there's water in the bowl before she leaves. Mandy is very organized and professional! I would 100% recommend her.”

About: I am a junior at San Antonio college. Since I was 13 I’ve taken care of my own pets. I also have cared for pets that the families I babysit for have. We also have been fostering Great Danes for the last 2 years. Over the 2022 summer, I potty trained 2 Great Dane puppies, I also taught them how to sit, stay, and overall manners. I love animals and truly enjoy having them around. I currently can’t do boarding because I am training my own dog but I have any availability to housesit/dogsit. I have references if you’d like one just let me know 😁 I’m a junior in college. I have one in person class on Monday and Wednesday from 1-3. I have summer classes as well on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I care for my own dog, she is 5 years old American stafforshire terrier. I feed her, take her to the dog park, walk her, bathe her, and overall care for her. Though my mother does help me out when I’m busy. I make sure the dogs I’m caring for are let out when needed, I play with them as much as I can, and I feed them when they are scheduled to be fed. I love playing with dogs so I’d play with them and take them out on walks.

Reactivity shows up in anxious & overexcited behaviors, to which i will use positive reinforcement during engagement. MEET & GREET I would prefer to set up a meet and greet before booking to ensure that all parties are comfortable. This gives me a chance to get to know you, your pal, and have an open dialogue about expectations. This allows us to know whether I will be a good fit for you. When checking in with your pet I am comfortable with relocating them back to their crate. If a crate is not available, then I will ensure the premises of the home is safe to accommodate them (no wires, valuables, trash etc..).
