About: Bonafide Animal Lover! I grew up on a farm caring for many different animals & have always had either cats and/or dogs in my adult life. Most recent, I cared for our two adult male shepherds in all aspects - training, feeding, walking, nurturing and our two adult cats - training, feeding, activity and nurturing. My pets are part of my family & I will provide the same level of care to your pets as well! (To avoid any confusion, my full name is “Sylvia Annette” - I usually go by my middle name “Annette” but will respond to either here. I am a semi-retired remote bookkeeper and empty nester therefore I am home most of the time and have plenty of time to do drop in visits, walking, house sitting or boarding. My caution level for keeping my pets safe and well cared for is very high. They are part of my family. I focus on their daily feeding schedule, ensure the catbox is kept clean daily, play with them (laser pointer and feather toy) for their exercise, and provide lots of love and cuddles too. When I have our shepherds, I walk them daily and play fetch and tug of war with a ball or rope.

About: I have been caring for a wide variety of animals my whole life, from cats to horses to dogs of all sizes! Large breeds are my specialty, as I have grown up around Great Danes, Saint Bernards, and Newfoundlands my entire life, and feel very comfortable handling them. I have cared for many senior and small breed dogs as well, so your pets will receive the upmost care no matter the age or size! I love working with as many unique personalities and animals as I possibly can, and will work tirelessly to make sure they receive the care they need. My schedule is often very open, especially during the summer when classes are out, so I will communicate well to work around YOUR schedule! I will do what it takes to get your pets the care they need when they need it. Safety is priority number one when it comes to caring for pets, for both me and the animals. I am sure to follow whatever instructions are given to me to the strictest degree so you don't have to worry about your pets safety while you're away. When going for walks I always maintain firm a firm hold on the leash, even with bigger dogs. I have been walking with large breeds such as Saint Bernards and Great Danes for over a decade, so I feel very comfortable remaining in control. I always carry pepper spray with me as well, just as an absolute last resort in the very rare chance that anything would happen.

About: One of the best things about life is our pets. I grew up with three dogs who were my bffs, and I have several friends who have cats. I have tons of experience with house and pet sitting for long durations (several weeks at a time). I am responsible, clean, detail-oriented, and love taking dogs on walkies! Every pet I sit for, I treat as my own and shower them with love and snuggles! I currently work part-time at Home Depot as a cashier and part-time at Olive Garden as a server. If I'm not working, I'm usually watching a movie or show, reading a book, writing poetry, or going on a walk and enjoying this beautiful summer weather! I am constantly tending to what the angel- I mean pet- needs. Whether it's a potty break, a little treat, dinner, a snuggle, I am on the job!

About: I have taken care of dogs of different sizes and ages my whole adult life. I'm happy to go for long walks, play, or even just relax with your pets if that's what they need. I'm happy to take care of puppies all the way to seniors and give medication when needed. I work part time at a reasturant so I am available most days. When I do work it's late afternoon until mid evening. I'm happy to check and let out your fur babies before and after I work. I will always make sure they are taken care of and happy before I go. I also have experience caring for senior pets and understand the extra patience, attention, and comfort they often require to stay happy and healthy in their golden years. Whether your pet is young and energetic or older and in need of a gentler approach, I strive to provide compassionate, attentive care tailored to them. I’m passionate about animal behavior and training, and I’m always interested in learning new techniques. I’ve been actively training my own 2.5-year-old dog and enjoy helping pets build confidence through positive, consistent interactions. “Kumar was absolutely wonderful with my two cats! I was especially nervous about leaving because one of them, Relic, is a formerly feral girl who’s very shy with new people. (Beezle, my other cat, is a social butterfly—toss him a treat and he’s instantly your best friend.) But Kumar handled Relic’s quirks with so much patience and care. He came by twice a day, sent me photos and videos every visit, and never hesitated to check in if he had questions. His communication was fantastic, and he totally put my mind at ease. If I need a sitter again, I’ll be crossing my fingers that Kumar’s available—he did an amazing job, and I’m so grateful!”

About: I grew up with lots of pets around the house and absolutely love spending time and playing with them. I’d love the opportunity to help out! I also work at mission point so I know my way around if you happen to be staying here. I’m a big walker and nature lover too so it’s a win-win. I’m available on my days off and before noon! It’s such a nice break to get to go on a walk with a dog or sit with them. I’m able to replace food and water, can play games with the dog and go on long walks. I will give them all of my attention and make sure they’re happy!

About: I have dogsat for friends and family since I was a kid, I worked at a doggy daycare (Paws In The City) in highschool. My family has raised 2 litters of golden retrievers, so I am familiar with how to train and housebreak puppies from a young age. I live with 2 dogs and 3 cats, all with very different energy levels and personalities, I will adjust to your pet's unique needs and routines! I am a student at CMU, so during the semester I will be gone during the morning for classes. I stop by to check on pets during lunch time, and then head back to campus. On weekends I can stay with them the whole day, taking dogs on a hike if the weather is nice, or staying in and playing on my study breaks. I have a pretty open schedule, so I will have a lot of time to spare for pet care. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if you need, or just stop by regularly throughout the day. I will follow your instructions, and make sure your pets stay fed, safe, and happy while you are gone! I have a lot of hiking trails I want to explore, if you are comfortable with me taking your pup on a fieldtrip. If not, I am happy to walk in your neighborhood and stay closer to home.
