“Amy did a great job . Was very patient giving each dog a bath, making sure it was a positive experience, w out stress. And Amy has a great sense of humor. - The dogs get SO excited when she comes over!, and she can easily handle my rowdy Labradors. ** Really great that she used to be a Vet tech. Very knowledgeable. Both dogs & cat LOVE her! Highly recommend her to everyone!”

About: I have taken care of pets for much of my life, especially cats and dogs, mine and my family's. Currently in my home I have eight cute and adorable cats. I have several availability for pet care, for the night I only have availability for cats since I have eight cats and I cannot accept dogs for sleeping, however for walking I have availability from 2:30 p.m. onwards. I have a large patio especially for the cats that we call catio, it has toys and some small logs that they can climb on. I really like dogs and I would be happy to walk them for as long as necessary, we can also run or play.
About: I’ve taken care of Cats, Kitties, and Dogs and will be mindful of each pet’s boundaries to ensure proper care of each pet I will come into contact with. I have a lot of free time because of summer vacation so I’m able to take care of many different pets and spend the time to really get to know them. I’m always very careful with each new pet I come into contact to ensure they are comfortable with me. If I am pet sitting, I always ask permission first to see what rooms I’m allowed to be in as well as where the pet is allowed.
About: I am well experienced with puppies, seniors, and large groups—15 puppies, 20 cats, and mixed breeds. I provide calm, structured, loving care for every pet. I work part time with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide morning care daily and both morning and afternoon visits on weekends for consistent pet care. I provide daily feeding, regular walks, outside potty breaks, indoor puppy pad changes, backyard cleanup, and can arrange grooming to keep pets clean, healthy, and comfortable.
About: Hi, my name is Emma! I've taken care of dogs and cats of all different breeds, sizes, and energy levels. You are in the right place if you have an active dog or cat! I love playing, spending time, and going on walks, and I will care for your pet as if they are my own! I currently am living in a small but comfortable home with my two roommates, their dog, and my two cats while I attend Cal Poly Humboldt for my bachelor's in Environmental Sciences and Geospatial analysis. I am available every day of the week and my schedule is very open when not in class. When caring for your pet, I will ensure they get plenty of play time during their day and an equal amount of time relaxing and getting pets!

About: Hi! My name is Victoria, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m a reliable, patient, and caring person who understands that pets are family and deserve to be treated with love and respect. I lead an active lifestyle and enjoy walking regularly, so making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and care comes naturally to me. Whether your pup enjoys a leisurely stroll, an energetic walk, or just some extra companionship during the day, I’m committed to providing a safe and positive experience. I understand how important trust is when choosing someone to care for your pet. I will always communicate clearly, follow your instructions carefully, and treat your dog as if they were my own. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!! I have a flexible schedule and am generally available Monday through Friday. I can accommodate a variety of walking and pet care needs throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I am dependable, responsive, and happy to work with pet owners to find times that best fit their schedules. When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I make sure doors and gates are secure and that pets are safely contained before entering or leaving a home to prevent accidental escapes. I also ensure pets have access to fresh, clean water, are fed according to their owner’s instructions, and receive plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. My goal is to provide a positive experience for both pets and their owners by creating a safe, loving, and dependable environment.

“I loved that Camille is super responsive, very prompt with schedules, responsible, and just over all seems to really enjoy caring for dogs! My puppy was very pleased to have Camille take care of him for the night, and I was pleased she was available on short notice. I appreciate her knowledge of dogs and care she takes in our requests (and just in general). I will definitely book services with her again, and recommend you give her a chance to care for your fur baby.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Rosamond
Amy is so sweet. My boys just adored her. They loved her from the minute they met her. She did a couple of drop in vists for us and was very thorough with her visit. Sent fantastic updates of the boys and took some precious pictures. Having a reliable, loving person able to check in on our boys was such a relief. Will request her every time we need a sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
