About: I have a lot of education with dogs. In high school I attended a Scroc Pet boarding class and also went to Animal Behavior College. I worked at Pet Boarding and Spa in Lomita, California. I volunteer at the Lancaster Animal Shelter where I have fostered puppies that were underaged and bottle fed them and potty trained them. I am very familiar with humane animal restraint. “Lauren was the best dog sitter that Snoopy could have asked for and we were lucky she was available on such short notice and willing to look after him for a little over a week. Snoopy is almost 15 years old and was recently seen by his cardiologist who prescribed him anti-nausea meds, tapering steroids for his cough, and an appetite stimulant for when he doesn’t want to eat. Snoopy also has had increasing incontinence issues and wears diapers while indoors. I needed to find someone to look after Snoopy while I traveled since his usual caretaker was not available, so I found Lauren on Rover and explained his health issues expecting that he might’ve been too much of a hassle. But Lauren was not fazed by any of Snoopy’s needs and immediately agreed to look after him. I went away on my trip with no concerns about his safety and Lauren periodically checked in with me to give me updates on Snoopy and sent me pictures to show me how well he was doing. I understand how uneasy people feel about leaving their pooch in a Kennel, simply because their dog is their world and they would rather have their dog have home comforts whilst you are apart. About: PLEASE READ - Notice: All meet and greets are required for new potential clients. Meet and greets aren’t necessary for recurring clients. But if your dog is new to us, we will have to conduct a meet and greet. My pup is shy and needs a bit of encouragement to get used to a new friend! These must be done a couple days prior to the boarding is booked. I will not be accepting large or medium dogs unless I’ve already had them before, or that I’m positive there will be no issues between your pups and mine. With that being said, meet and greets are must for potential clients! Thank you in advance. I've grown up with Dogs my entire life, and there's not a dog I haven't met that didn't like me. I have babysat dogs, boarded them, and owned many throughout my life who have always been well cared for. I can do almost anything required, including bathing and long walks. I am unable to work a full-time job because of a medical condition, but with flexible hours I can manage to work around the flare-ups and be able to do what needs to be done. I have alot of downtime on my hands, and need a preoccupation to consume some of it, and with dogs that's perfect because I can manage to work it easily. I have a fenced in yard that is perfectly safe for all my dogs. I give my boy walks at least twice a day if not once. I feed him, I give him baths regularly, and I play with him. I make sure he has water constantly and access to the yard. I can do all these things in the client's home as well if needed or asked of me. This is my fulltime job so I'm available always and will mostly be at home to take care of the pups! They will never be left unattended or unsupervised at any time! My yard is fenced and I let the dogs out frequently. They never stay outside due to extreme heat. I will feed them as requested and they will always have water available on hand!

About: I have dealt with many different pet personalities and genuinely care about their needs. I aim to give your four-legged friends the attention they deserve. I believe that a dog should have the ability to see what outside looks like, and visit different areas such as parks. I also believe that all pets act a certain way for a reason, and shouldn't be yelled at, or treated badly if they aren't 'easy-going' or 'social'. Personally, my love for pets started when I got my first dog as five years old. Named him Rocky after the boxer, Rocky Balboa. Unfortunately, he passed away two years ago from old age. He was blind, but he still recognized my voice...which was pretty amazing. Rocky showed me that a dog could truly be a man's best friend. I pledge to give the upmost care to your best friend. I currently work from home, so I will have plenty of time to play, walk, and give your pet the love they need while you’re away. About: I have a lot of education with dogs. In high school I attended a Scroc Pet boarding class and also went to Animal Behavior College. I worked at Pet Boarding and Spa in Lomita, California. I volunteer at the Lancaster Animal Shelter where I have fostered puppies that were underaged and bottle fed them and potty trained them. I am very familiar with humane animal restraint. I am familiar with all dog breeds . I have taken care of dogs for most of my life. I have distributed medicine to dogs often. “Lauren was the best dog sitter that Snoopy could have asked for and we were lucky she was available on such short notice and willing to look after him for a little over a week. Snoopy is almost 15 years old and was recently seen by his cardiologist who prescribed him anti-nausea meds, tapering steroids for his cough, and an appetite stimulant for when he doesn’t want to eat. Snoopy also has had increasing incontinence issues and wears diapers while indoors. I needed to find someone to look after Snoopy while I traveled since his usual caretaker was not available, so I found Lauren on Rover and explained his health issues expecting that he might’ve been too much of a hassle. But Lauren was not fazed by any of Snoopy’s needs and immediately agreed to look after him. I went away on my trip with no concerns about his safety and Lauren periodically checked in with me to give me updates on Snoopy and sent me pictures to show me how well he was doing. I will definitely be booking with Lauren for my next trip – I even learned a few things from her about how to alleviate his coughing! We are very pleased with her outstanding quality of care!!”

About: I used to be the president of an animal rescue called Secondhand Animals. Between running an animal rescue and owning dogs, cats, fish, turtles and hamsters all my life, I am very knowledge about animals, what they can and cannot eat, sickness, medications and what to look out for. I am completely set up for X-Large to X-small dogs, and the animals in my home are very friendly to other animals. If not we have several other rooms in the house, where we can keep a guest by themselves in order to not stress the out so much. We also just had a dog run built. I am currently working full-time, but I do go home during lunches and am home in the evenings and weekends. I also have help, if it is needed. I have a fenced in yard, and a dog run with it's own fencing. Every evening I sit out on the deck, and try to engage with my animals. I say try because they do not know what fetch is, but they understand keep-away. We also enjoy taking car rides and walks.

About: I've had dogs since I was 10 years old. I dog sit for my coworkers and family members. I have a certificate in veterinary assisting and I interned at a veterinary clinic for 2 months where I gained valuable experience with dogs and cats of all ages, I am cpr certified, I can give oral medication and injectable medications like insulin. I currently work at a middle school so I am unavailable Monday-Friday 730am-3pm however after June 4th I am available full time. Right now I can do drop in visits after 3pm on week days and any time on the weekends I rent a room in my friends house but I have a door to the backyard in my room so I have quick access to the yard for playtime or potty breaks. I have one senior dog who does not like to play with other dogs but will be respectful otherwise.
