“Sara was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I took a trip down to NYC for his birthday for 4 days and let me just say I am so glad I booked with Sara. I had never used Rover before so the idea of having someone I didn’t know in my house and around my cats (who are my children) scared me at first. Sara came a few days before our booking to meet everyone and have me show her where everything was and any little details. I gave her a key to my door and from there on everything was taken care of. She came twice a day to feed them, played with them, even stayed and hung out with them for bit gave them extra attention until THEY got sick of HER (which was so nice to know they were being loved). She sent multiple pictures of each of them eating and playing twice a day and at the end she put my key under the mat. I can’t get over how easy this experience was and I’m excited to have someone to watch over my kids in the future!❤️”

About: I've always loved animals but didn't have the space to care for one of my own, until recently, so my interactions have mostly been through other's animals. In high school I was an animal science major and volunteered at doggy daycares. Then in college I studied basic canine care and training where I got experience in training different dogs. Now I have my own puppies, 2 2 year olds and a 1 year old, so more experience everyday! I was born and raised on a dairy farm in upstate NY where I have helped train and raised many different kinds of animals including horses, cows, dogs, pigs, bunnies, cats, goats, and more. I am able to give your fur baby the best care possible to ensure they are appropriately cared for and loved as they should be through out their stay at my home. My first priority is keeping your fury friend safe and then they will be also be happy. I want your pet to feel at home when they are at my house. Depending on the service you request and the need for your specific animal this will vary. Each animal will have it's own individualized plan agreed upon with the animals owner.

About: I grew up on a farm in Reseda, CA with as many as 9 dogs at 1 time and also goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
