About: I’ve always had the biggest heart for animals! I was an animal science major in high school and spent much time volunteering at doggy daycares. In college I studied basic canine care and training where I got more experience and knowledge in training different types of dogs. I currently have a couple of pups that I gain more experience from everyday! 🥰 Currently in between employments and looking for something to keep me occupied that would benefit others as well. About: I have been taking care of my own and friends dogs ever since I was young. From puppies to middle aged dogs, taking them for walks, feeding them, and training them. I am currently a student athlete with classes and practices in the mornings with open afternoons most days of the week. I only have 1 late afternoon class on Tuesdays which makes me available mid day. I focus on providing reliable, loving care and following each pet owner’s instructions carefully. I make sure pets are fed, exercised, given fresh water, and receive plenty of attention and companionship. About: I've taken care of animals for years, people even bring me their animals to take in when they can't have them anymore, I've been labeled as a humane society by landlords and others. I have also fostered animals, many of times till they found a right home. I believe animals are to be trusted more than humans. About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. It started when I was young, probably around the age of 10, but of course I couldn't drive, so my mom had to help out. I have always had a love for animals, and I always will. I am enrolled at Utica University completing my master's. I also coach U12 girls soccer. That may sound like I have a pretty busy schedule, but since I live at home, it is not bad at all. I am also a substitute teacher, which allows me to choose when I work based on how my schedule looks for that given week. Pet safety is of the utmost importance to me. Families are relying on me to care for their beloved animals while away for a day or a few days. Playing outside or relaxing inside are all things I love to do, based on the dog's needs. About: I have extensive experience caring for pets at every stage of life. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, starting with my first cat, Rosie, and over time I’ve gained hands-on experience with both kittens and senior cats. I’ve raised four kittens (three rescues) myself, so I’m very familiar with the patience, attention, and consistency needed for young pets. Additionally, I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs, through the care of my own pups and friends’. I have lots of experience caring for senior pets, including administering medications, managing special diets, and assisting with more advanced care such as subcutaneous (IV) fluids. I work as a Medical Assistant full time on weekdays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, but my evenings and weekends are wide open, giving me plenty of flexibility to care for pets. I’m based in Utica and am happy to travel as needed for drop-in visits, walks, or longer stays. This schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable care while being attentive to pets’ needs. I provide care either in my pet-friendly, secure residence (keycard access) or in the client’s home, depending on their needs. I am flexible and attentive to any special requests, and I have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering medications and managing special diets. About: I grew up on a farm in Reseda, CA with as many as 9 dogs at 1 time and also goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters. I had 3 dogs as an adult but they have all since passed away at the ages of 16, 16 and 17 so yes I take very good of my animals. I currently have 2 cats, Sydnee and Maycee who are 1.5. I hope to get another dog someday but until then, I hope to take care of and love your dogs like they are my own. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
