“Sara was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I took a trip down to NYC for his birthday for 4 days and let me just say I am so glad I booked with Sara. I had never used Rover before so the idea of having someone I didn’t know in my house and around my cats (who are my children) scared me at first. Sara came a few days before our booking to meet everyone and have me show her where everything was and any little details. I gave her a key to my door and from there on everything was taken care of. She came twice a day to feed them, played with them, even stayed and hung out with them for bit gave them extra attention until THEY got sick of HER (which was so nice to know they were being loved). She sent multiple pictures of each of them eating and playing twice a day and at the end she put my key under the mat. I can’t get over how easy this experience was and I’m excited to have someone to watch over my kids in the future!❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family and friends since I was young. My favorite part is being getting to be outside to take them on walks! I’m also willing to take them out on jogs if they require faster paced activity! I’m currently a student from out of state, so I’m missing taking my pups for walks back home! Edit: I’m back home for the summer (Marcy, NY) and am available Monday - Friday from 6am - 3pm for walks and drop ins. I’ll update my availability again when I head back to school (Morgantown, WV)! I will give your pups full and constant attention while they’re under my supervision, ensuring that they get sufficient exercise and mental stimulation! About: I've taken care of animals for years, people even bring me their animals to take in when they can't have them anymore, I've been labeled as a humane society by landlords and others. I have also fostered animals, many of times till they found a right home. I believe animals are to be trusted more than humans. I'm free most of the time to watch your babies, I'm pretty flexible on times and schedules, I work from home but Ill always have time for your babies I am able to come to your house and watch your lovely babies, I had plenty of my own that I have trained and loved.

About: I've always loved animals but didn't have the space to care for one of my own, until recently, so my interactions have mostly been through other's animals. In high school I was an animal science major and volunteered at doggy daycares. Then in college I studied basic canine care and training where I got experience in training different dogs. Now I have my own puppies, 2 2 year olds and a 1 year old, so more experience everyday! Currently in between employments and looking for something to keep me occupied that would benefit others as well. So available anytime that would be convenient for you! I have decent space for my pups and have my own precautions. I will prioritize the safety and wellbeing of your fur baby as if they're my own, so I assure you that I will follow any and all instructions given to me by you.

About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. It started when I was young, probably around the age of 10, but of course I couldn't drive, so my mom had to help out. I have always had a love for animals, and I always will. I am enrolled at Utica University completing my master's. I also coach U12 girls soccer. That may sound like I have a pretty busy schedule, but since I live at home, it is not bad at all. I am also a substitute teacher, which allows me to choose when I work based on how my schedule looks for that given week. Pet safety is of the utmost importance to me. Families are relying on me to care for their beloved animals while away for a day or a few days. Playing outside or relaxing inside are all things I love to do, based on the dog's needs. Walks are always fun, too!

About: I have 3 years of experience taking care of cats and dogs of a variety of breeds, and have worked with puppies as well as older pets in home environments such as suburbs, cities, and rural areas. I am happy to cater to your pet's special needs, and I focus on respecting each pet's boundaries and getting to know them on a case by case basis, with the hope that they grow to trust me as much as they trust you! Since I am a writer who works remotely, I am open on a weekly basis and am able to be flexible in order to meet your scheduling requirements. I work hard to ensure that your pet's personal boundaries are not crossed while we take time to get to know each other. I especially care about learning their preferences in order to earn their favor and eventually their trust. Depending on each pet, I try to be very sensitive to any shifts in their mood or behavior, such as if they get anxiety when left alone or are afraid of loud weather.

About: I have been taking care of animals since childhood and would often pet sit for family members, some of which were entire farms for a week at a time. Neighbors and family members have relied on me for daily care of their dogs and cats with care tasks including feeding, walking and sometimes bathing. I am currently in nursing school and I have a very flexible schedule during the week (except Mondays, Tuesdays) and on weekends. I currently have an almost 5 years old Australian cattle dog (very friendly w/ other dogs) and also live on a hobby farm. You will see my reviews are from Canada, where I lived for 6 years, but moved back home in the last couple of years and wanted to start my account up again :) I have a large property for walks and playtime without having to drive to a trail. I am also able to crate your dog if that is needed. I am available for frequent potty breaks (every 0-2 hours).

I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, starting with my first cat, Rosie, and over time I’ve gained hands-on experience with both kittens and senior cats. I’m based in Utica and am happy to travel as needed for drop-in visits, walks, or longer stays. This schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable care while being attentive to pets’ needs. I provide care either in my pet-friendly, secure residence (keycard access) or in the client’s home, depending on their needs. I am flexible and attentive to any special requests, and I have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering medications and managing special diets.
