About: What sets me apart is my patience and genuine love for dogs. I have hands-on experience caring for both large and small breeds, including an Old English Sheepdog and a Bichon Frise, so I understand how different personalities and needs can be. I take time to build trust and follow each dog’s routine closely. My family also love animals, especially my 9 year old son. Pets in my care are treated like part of the family—receiving calm, attentive, and loving care every day. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I spend most of my time at home caring for my family and working remotely, which allows me to be present and flexible throughout the day. I also run a pet-related business, built around the idea of creating a human-and-pet–friendly lifestyle, so caring for animals is not just part of my schedule, but part of how I live. Because of this, I’m able to plan my days around each pet’s routine and provide calm, consistent, and attentive care. I provide pet care in my home, where pets stay in a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and there is a large grassy area just a 5-minute walk away, perfect for daily walks and play. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, and always take a gentle, patient approach. Whether it’s a short neighborhood stroll or fun yard time, pets in my care receive plenty of exercise, attention, and love.

“We had a doggy-sitter that we loved, our dog, (Sadie), included. There aren't many people we trust to watch our Sadie girl. Unfortunately, our sitter got a dog of her own, and wasn't available anymore, so we started the search. Just couldn't find the right match. Until we met Mitch and John, they are GREAT! Our 3 year old Sadie girl loves going for play dates. When we arrive at their house for the drop-off Sadie is already so excited. She knows when we are getting close and her tail starts a-waggin'! It makes us happy to know she is happy and safe. At our meet and greet we were relieved to find a clean environment. A safe and clean house is important to us. There is a nice BIG backyard for the doggies to play in. There are areas inside designated for the doggies and blocked off areas, so they don't get themselves into trouble. They have their own boy, Rugby, a sweet pug. He's very friendly and calm. We receive updates and picture texts while we are away. They are in touch and respond quickly. They take Sadie on long walks, play fetch with her favorite toy, even hand fed her once when they were worried because because she wasn't eating much. At the end of the visit they will give you a print out of the day. It lists the activities, walks they went on, food that was eaten, or not, treats given and so on. We are so happy we found Mitch and John! They treat Sadie as one of their own. You can tell they have a genuine love and concern for the dogs left in their care. We have used them twice already and plan to re-book.”

About: Im retired which allows more time while sitting with dogs. I was an Assistant Manager with Pet Food Express 7 yrs, worked with Petco 4yrs, my female was a pet who happened to a show dog. I’ve whelped a couple litters, followed our Northern California soft coated wheaten terrier club. Im a firm believer of a good diet and have I included raw in my dog's diets. I'll get up fix grits for myself and feed my dog while I am. After we eat we get ready for a walk. For outings my boy loves going to the Benica Bridge Vista Point. I have two crates also I have x-pens that be used in the house if needed. My dogs are voice & sound trained. I do have a crate and raised feeding & water bowls

In my home, pets are treated like family with lots of love, structure, and attention to their individual needs. When I care for pets in your home, I respect your routine and space. I make sure your pets feel secure and comfortable by sticking closely to their normal schedule, whether that’s feeding times, potty breaks, walks, medications, or cuddle time. I clean up after them, keep things tidy, and leave your home just as I found it if not better!
