Leaving our two senior dogs, Iggy and Pip, in someone else’s care in our home was a new approach as we previously boarded them at pet hotels. They both have specific needs—picky eating habits, unusual routines, and require a bit of extra TLC due to their age. But Samantha handled everything with such compassion, attention, and professionalism that we were instantly put at ease. From our first conversation, she made the effort to really understand who Iggy and Pip are—not just their care instructions, but their personalities, comforts, and quirks. She was patient with Pip’s mealtime drama (he gets sick of different foods regularly) and attentive to Iggy’s anxious moments too. They each have their own routine, and she respected those down to the smallest detail. Throughout our time away, Samantha kept us updated with thoughtful messages and photos, which made all the difference. We came home to two happy dogs who clearly felt safe and cared for in her presence. If you have pets who need a little extra attention or just want peace of mind knowing your dogs are in the best hands, Samantha is it. We’re so grateful to have found her—and so are Iggy and Pip.”

About: Currently a mom to a 7lbs bichon/poodle mix. Previously I have had 1 dog (australian shepard mix) and 3 cats (gray and orange tabbies). I have worked with animal shelters - mainly with dogs and also cat rescue coordination. Would love to help take care of your fur baby! I can also help train leash walking and basic obedience commands. Work part time, would love to dedicate to help take care of your 4 legged furbabies. I have a fenced in patio area for bathroom relief and take dogs on walks in nearby parks to explore new places. My Bichon mix doesn’t respond to any harsh tones. Therefore happy voices, positive reinforcement, patience and love was what got us on the same page. Would love to care for other animals the same way.

About: I’ve always loved owning animals. I’ve always owned at least a dog since growing up and now as an adult. I find so much joy and love in having a furry companion. I will give any love, care and comfort needed to your fur babies! I’m a teacher during the school year but home all summer and flexible during the day and can offer in my own home pet boarding depending on your needs. I have a large fenced in backyard to keep your pet contained. I have my own small dog who loves all cats and dogs and a cat who is also very accepting of other pets (I pet sit in my home for family pets and my pets love to share their space). I am open to letting your pet roam free in my home or stay in a crate when I leave.

I have had a few regular clients over the past ten years and am looking to get on Rover since several of my regular clients have sadly passed on. I have experience with older dogs and administering medication. I have 10+ years of experience with taking care of dogs. I have a hybrid job that allows me to work from home about 70% of the time. I’m happy to jog around the park with your pup, take them on a good long walk, or even let them socialize and burn off energy at a dog park.
