About: I have had the pleasure and joy of being able to take care of lots of different animals for over 10 years. I spent some time on a farm where taking care of sheep, pigs, chicken, ducks, and the barn cats and dogs was a daily thing. Later on, I was the proud mama of a german shepherd named Bruno who stole my heart in every way. Unfortunately he is now gone since November of 2023. Since then, my lifestyle has changed and I am not able to have another dog of my own due to long working hours four days out of the week. However I love taking care of pets, especially dogs, and this is the perfect way to still have a connection with these wonderful creatures, even if they are not my own :) I promise to take care of yours as if it was my own! They will be royally treated with me! My Fridays through Sundays are free from other work and I would love to be able to take care of your pets, especially your dogs! I have a spacious home where your pet can feel free to roam and rest. I also have many trails I can take them on walks. There is also a spacious park area where we can play around if that's what your dog prefers! If I am coming to your home, I am more than happy to walk them short or long distances, play with them, or tend to any other pet needs!

About: I have been working and taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old. Family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, snuggle, and even help train their pups. I'm taking a break from my studies so I have lots of time to play and hangout with your pet! I am available on weekdays and weekends. I offer dog walking, house sitting, and drop-ins. For each, it is up to you on what you would prefer I do with your pup. I am familiar with crating dogs, bathing, and leash training. I am an avid walker, so if your pup loves a good walk- I’m your gal! Let's work together to create the best plan for your pup!!

About: I have lived with, trained, brought up and loved dogs all of my 60 years. Currently I live alone and travel quite a bit for work so cannot own a dog myself but am happy to take care of yours when I'm available. I would not be a good regular sitter due to my schedule, but generally, you can count on me to look after your pup or cat while on vacation or whatever. I have lots of experience with senior dogs, and have on occasion babysat at your home if you are comfortable with that situation. I walk a lot around my apartment complex, which is very welcoming to dogs. I am also home during the day so your pup is not alone. When you board your dog with me, you can expect he or she would get a walk in the morning, around noon and during the evening with some short outside breaks as needed to do his or her business. If I visit your home, I can walk once a day for about 20-30 minutes.

About: I've taken care of my dog since he was 5. He was a joy, and since then I have been deeply passionate about making sure any dog lives a happy and safe life. I can guarantee you I will put YOUR PET'S safety first. I am a vigilant caretaker, and will do my best to provide your dog with all they need! I go to work on weekdays and will be home by 2pm. I will be home on weeke ds to take care of your pet. I am vigilant about schedules, and I will be home in the evening and early morning to help out with crating and food if necessary. I have a large townhouse with plenty of room to run around. Our neighborhood is very pet-friendly, and walking your pet at any hour is no problem! A forest preserve 5min away that we walk dogs in almost daily, with free play areas. It will be used regularly, and walks in the preserve on everyday. We cannot provide crates, but will be happy to use your crate for your dog at night if you specify!

About: I have owned dogs sense I was I’d say 6, once I turned 10 I started offering family and friends to watch their animals, which included feeding, playing with, walking, bathing, grooming. I am currently not working, I am currently enrolled in online classes to become a horse trainer, so I am open pretty much always sense all my classes are set paced I don’t offer in home services but I do have a dog of my own you can request that I bring him over to play, he is house trained, but is afraid of big dogs so small dog owners only! I worked for a dog day care company so I have a wide variety of experience with dogs all ages and sizes, as well as basic training in dog first aid.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats for 35 years. I currently have a German Shepherd and a domestic short hair cat. I volunteer at the humane society socializing cats. I am retired and have time and love enough to care for your small dog or cat. I prefer to stay in the northern Virginia area if possible. I’m available for drop in visits or overnights. About: Our family of four cared for and loved our American Bulldog, Lola, for 10+ years. Recently (her last six months), she required frequent meds and extra attention. So, we know how to handle dogs in a similar situation. Sadly, our Lola is no longer with us. But, we're eager to shower your dog with lots of TLC. *If you are a first time customer, please contact me to arrange an initial meet and greet. In addition to me, there's often someone else around. My husband is a teacher and is a dog lover. Plus, our teenage boys will gladly run around and play with super active dogs. But, I'm the person in charge and will supervise. So, contact me and let me know what you need. I am flexible and will work it out. If your dog does not get along with other dogs, please let us know. We will make sure we don't board other dogs at the same time. We have a fenced in dog run for quick bathroom breaks. We live in a family friendly neighborhood with an open field two minutes away and lots of dogs walking around. Getting your dog exercise is not a problem at all!

About: I have two daughters that are 9 and 11. They grew up with a 100 pound pitbull dog. He was always so gentle with them, as I made sure the girls were gentle with him as well. We love meeting new dogs because they all have different personalities and it’s very fun for us. I do have a Monday through Friday job, but I work from home 3 days out of the week. I would walk your fur babies before I go to work and as soon as I get home on the days o go in the office. I don’t work weekends so those days they will get a walk more often and play. My kids and I decided to do this because we live animals. My goal is to make your pets feel at home and make your time away from them less stressful. Please reach out for price discounts. About: I've had my own dogs and cats in the past 25 years, been a dog walker off and on since 2017, and my first job was caring for neighbors dogs since age 13. I am available for pet sitting on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I have a somewhat flexible schedule on the other days of the week, but work on those days. I care for all pets by following their needs as stated by their owners or Rover's guidelines. I usually greet each and every pet warmly, find out what their usual routine is, and follow that.

About: I’ve been with animals all my life and have cared for dogs, cats and small caged animals. I love animals and if I could have more animals I would. I even work at a doggy day care part time because I love them so much. I’m free most of the day and my schedule should revolve around your animal and their needs. I can accommodate practically anything your pet needs with open arms. At the moment my yard is not fenced in so I just would take them in long walks. I would care to all the needs to the animal and put my all into making them happy.

About: I am a pre-veterinary science major and I have grown up with pets and taken care of them for years! I’ve had dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! I have a lot of experience taking care of animals as I’ve interned at a zoo and volunteered at shelters and vet clinics. I am currently a student and I am around to help out on most days of the week just depending on the time on week days! I will not be able to have pets in my home since I have a cat that does not like other animals and it is not allowed in my apartment complex.

About: I’ve always had a pet to care for while growing up. Watching animals grow up is such an exciting experience as they develop personalities and love for specific toys, activities, and treats. I’m excited to meet new furry friends and give them all the love I can! Being outside and active is important to my lifestyle, so I would love to play outside with your pet. Of course I also love having chill days indoors and relaxing with pets that are nervous to go outside. I’m different from other sitters and walkers because I want to genuinely care about your pet for the days you are absent and they miss you. No animal should feel alone, but sometimes life doesn’t allow pets. I’m here to step in and make sure your pet is still happy and healthy as can be!
