About: I am a very picky cat owner myself and know the standards of care that I expect from someone when I’m away, so I am always sure to deliver that same care for others. “Pets” are often our closest companions, and they deserve to be treated like family! I have always said “the only person I would really trust is myself” - so it felt right to offer my care as a service. I have grown up around animals my entire life and have a particular affection for cats. My cat, Maizy, is so so important to me. She has asthma and other medical conditions that make her care tricky, but I have become very experienced in dealing with medical issues in cats. I hope I can offer other companion-owners the peace and comfort they need when they have to leave behind their beloved animals. You deserve peace and high standards of care! Not just a drop-in, but a real connection with your animal(s). I do work full time but I’m available for limited lunch time drop ins and various evening appointments. I am off work on Fridays and can typically do anytime Fri/Sat/Sun I have extremely high standards and expectations of how someone treats my home and my cat, so you will get the same! I am very cat-aware, no runaway cats will escape me, doors locks always double checked, blankets folded just how they like to cozy up on, and food/water stored away nice and clean. Cleanliness and safety are very important to me. Also important is making sure your animal feels well loved while you’re away!

About: I grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always been a big part of my life. I’m a VetBloom Certified Veterinary Assistant, one of the few NAAVTA-approved programs, and I spent the summer working at a small animal hospital. About: I have walked and dog-sat for 7 years now with great reviews. Taken care of small 15 pound dogs to 80 pound dogs. Able to care with full attention and provide the best support. Flexible schedule, with willingness to negotiate certain times. Own 1 dog of my own, and have always had a dog in the house. I do not have any prejudice against specific dog breeds. Friendly personality, easy-going, and willing to match any dogs energy levels. Any restrictions, such as food or physical, are able to be accommodated and discussed. Possibility of last-minute scheduling, but be mindful of possible conflicts. I would need to know if the dog has any history of violence or biting, as that is a key factor for me to plan. I am a freelancer and have no major commitments that require my attention so I am able to fit pet sitting into my schedule very easily. I am able to do walks short or long, play dates, travel, medications, crating, dietary challenges, and most requirements that would come up for a pets needs.

About: Dogs have always been part of our life and are treated as a member of the family. When in our house the dogs are allowed on furniture and we will treat them as they were our dog. We welcome calls to check up on your animal while they are staying with us. We will give them plenty of attention and someone will be around in the house to make sure they are doing well. We look forward to having your animal stay will us and giving them attention while they are here. We can even send you pictures or videos while you are gone to see how they are enjoying their stay. I am retired as a special education teacher and enjoy animals. Last year I lost my dog Sammy who was 19 years old and look forward to being with dogs. Our family treats pets like part of our family. We like to spend time with them and interact in the house as well as outside.

About: I have had dogs all my life and have always had the responsibilities to look after them. I have been around bigger dogs as well as smaller dogs and very familiar with senior care. I work full time but with a flexible schedule and a husband who works odd hours so I can be very flexible with times and dates! I am willing to travel within reasonable distance to look after your animals with reasonable notice. I do understand last minute things can happen as well.

About: Hello! I am 23 years old and when I was 15-17 I helped train dogs including a service dog. I love all dogs and will always love your dog as well! I am looking for any opportunities that involve dog walking or dog sitting! I do not have my own dog but would love to have a golden retriever later in life! I am currently available all throughout June and July. August 3rd I will be unavailable because I start a nanny job that will be full time. I am just looking for specifically summer hours in June and July. I will help feed, get into crate, or “space”, if needed train, and go for walks with the dog. I will help in anyway I can.

She was able to check on our dog a few times so we could be gone overnight. We got regular check-ins, photos, and any pertinent information about our dog and the visits. I appreciated that she was very intuitive with our dog, making some changes to her visits to make him more comfortable. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
